$15.00/hr - Full-time - M-F

We are one of the largest e-commerce women’s clothing boutique in the nation.

Due to rapid growth, we are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented product Intake Specialist to join our growing product receiving team in Auburn Hills.

As a product Intake Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of incoming inventory. Your exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments of women's fashion products, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
Verify the quantity and quality of products received against purchase orders and packing lists.
Create and input product descriptions for received items in our inventory/marketing system.
Sort, label, and organize incoming inventory for efficient storage and retrieval.
Assist in the preparation of products for sales, styling, and marketing departments.
Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records.
Coordinate with other departments, such as the warehouse and fulfillment teams, to ensure timely and accurate product availability.
Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, including removing trash and general cleaning.
Follow safety protocols and best practices.
Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Maintain a positive attitude to foster a great work environment.

Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent; additional education, experience, or certifications in inventory management or related field is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in using inventory management systems and other relevant software.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to receiving and inventory management.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various departments and resolve issues effectively.
Ability to work quickly for an entire shift while on your feet
Basic computer skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk at a quick pace.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Employee will be working in a fully climate controlled facility that stores women's clothing and accessories.

Allergies:

Employee may be exposed to products containing fragrances (perfumes, candles, lotions, etc.) and/or various nuts (tree nuts, non-tree nuts, etc.), which may be hazardous to those individuals with certain fragrance and/or nut allergies.
