Consultant Expert – AI Trainer

Job Summary

In this role as a Consultant Expert supporting AI Training and evaluation initiatives, you will apply your specialized expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input, domain-specific analysis, and professional judgment.

This is an hourly-paid contract opportunity, not a traditional full-time consulting position. Contributors will work on project-based AI training tasks while collaborating remotely with distributed teams in a flexible work environment. No prior AI experience is required — your domain expertise is what matters.

Key Responsibilities

Leverage your specialized industry knowledge to provide expert input, feedback, and evaluation for AI system training and performance improvement.
Contribute to AI training and evaluation projects through domain-specific reasoning tasks, response evaluation, content review, and related workflows.
Review, edit, and generate professional written materials in Word and PDF formats, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Assess the accuracy, clarity, relevance, and quality of technical or domain-specific documents utilized by AI systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve model performance, reliability, and domain accuracy through structured assessments and feedback.
Communicate findings, recommendations, and evaluations clearly through written reports and verbal discussions.
Stay informed about developments, trends, regulations, and best practices within your area of expertise.
Support continuous improvement of AI training datasets, evaluation frameworks, and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and professionally.
Expertise in a specialized field where professional writing, analysis, and document review are core responsibilities, such as legal, government, healthcare, policy, compliance, finance, or related domains.
Experience working extensively with Microsoft Word and PDF documents in professional environments.
Minimum 3 years of relevant industry, consulting, or domain-specific experience.
Master’s degree, PhD, JD, or equivalent advanced academic credentials or demonstrated professional expertise.
Experience working within Fortune 500 organizations or other highly recognized enterprises.
Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote and distributed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience producing, reviewing, or managing regulatory, policy, legal, compliance, or governance-related documentation.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams in remote work environments.
Published research, thought leadership contributions, industry recognition, or other professional achievements within your field of expertise.
Familiarity with AI model evaluation or AI training-related domain-specific tasks is a plus.

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
