Nurse Manager - Full Time / Day Shift

Job Summary~

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the operational functions of the nursing unit they oversee. All responsibilities are carried out in alignment with Lexington Health’s mission, vision, strategic imperatives, and the standards of the American Nurses Association and the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act.

Essential Functions~

Service Excellence & Patient Experience : Measures and monitors patient satisfaction, reviews feedback, and partners with staff to develop action plans that support exceptional care and service.
Leadership & Team Development: Builds strong, trusting relationships; fosters open communication; supports shared governance; and develops staff through coaching, accountability, and recognition.
Operational & Resource Management: Oversees human, financial, and material resources; ensures fiscal responsibility; evaluates technology needs; and uses business tools effectively.
Quality, Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensures adherence to regulatory standards; monitors key performance indicators; implements evidence‑based practices; and promotes a safe environment for patients and staff.
Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and professionally across all levels; uses effective conflict‑resolution and problem‑solving skills; and ensures timely information flow to staff and peers.

Duties & Responsibilities~

Leads with integrity, initiative, and purpose, modeling Lexington Health’s values
Recruits, develops, and retains high‑performing team members
Drives employee engagement and fosters a positive, inclusive work environment
Supports diversity, shared governance, and collaborative decision‑making
Ensures compliance with organizational policies, safety training, and attendance standards
Oversees proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste per RCRA requirements
Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications~

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Experience: Minimum 3 years of RN experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
Licensure/Certifications:
Current South Carolina RN license
National nursing specialty certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire/promotion)
Current CPR certification
