Job Title: Senior Full Stack Shopify Developer
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid)
Job Type: Permanent

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Shopify Developer to lead the development and optimization of our expanding portfolio of Shopify sites, including our flagship D2C and B2B platforms. This role requires someone with strong back-end experience, hands-on coding skills, and the ability to support integrations, databases, and platform functionality from end to end.

This individual will have ownership over existing and new web projects, mentor team members, and work cross-functionally across departments to deliver scalable, customer-first solutions. The role is full-time, with compensation between $130K–$150K (flexible based on experience).

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Shopify Development:

Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and applications. Build back-end logic — from optimizing UX/UI to managing databases, third-party integrations, and order systems.

Platform Oversight & Project Leadership:
Lead development of the B2B wholesale site (launching July 1st).
Manage day-to-day optimization and promotion builds on the D2C Shopify site.
Own technical execution for new business ventures across brands
Collaboration & Task Management:
Work closely with internal stakeholders (including design, marketing, and leadership) to align technical work with business goals. While not managing direct reports today, you’ll be expected to lead sprint meetings, assign dev tasks, and hold teammates accountable.
Technical Performance & Troubleshooting:
Monitor site performance, resolve bugs, and ensure speed, stability, and scalability. Apply full stack expertise to support third-party integrations and troubleshoot across layers of the stack.
Continuous Learning & Improvement:
Stay current on emerging tools, trends, and best practices — particularly around headless commerce, e-commerce APIs, and Shopify Plus enhancements.
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Shopify Developer (not just front-end).
Deep expertise in:
Shopify (Liquid templating language)
JavaScript, HTML, CSS
SQL databases, JSON, Ruby
Experience working with APIs, Shopify Plus, and complex plugin/integration workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
Experience assigning work and leading discussions in sprint or dev meetings.
Comfortable interfacing with business and technical teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with headless Shopify or custom app development.
Background in high-growth e-commerce brands, especially in beauty, fashion, or wellness.
Experience with Shopify SEO and performance optimization.
Prior leadership or mentorship of junior developers.
