Full Job Description

Overview
Motel 6 and Studio 6, part of G6 Hospitality, are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience at our budget-friendly hotels. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Requirements: Open Availability to cover 3pm-11pm shifts

Duties

Guest Services: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out processes, and address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Reservations Management: Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using the hotel’s property management system.
Payment Handling: Manage credit card and other payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Information Assistance: Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and directions.
Issue Resolution: Handle guest complaints or issues efficiently, escalating to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, prepare daily reports, and ensure the front desk area is clean and organized.
Safety and Security: Follow safety and security protocols, including verifying guest identities and reporting suspicious activities.
Back of House: Wash and Fold Back of House laundry as needed and requested.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.

Skills:

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

o Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.

o Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

o Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with property management systems is a plus.

Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

· Fast-paced, guest-facing role in a budget hotel setting.

· Requires standing at the front desk for most of the shift and interacting with diverse guests.

· Uniform provided; professional appearance and demeanor required.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
