Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications that power our cutting-edge platforms. Your expertise will drive the creation of scalable, efficient, and secure backend solutions, enabling seamless user experiences across web and mobile interfaces. Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy backend services and APIs using technologies such as C#, Java, Python, Node.js, and .NET frameworks.
Design and optimize database schemas for relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
Implement microservices architecture utilizing RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and message queuing systems to ensure modularity and scalability.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components built with React, Angular, or Vue.js through well-defined APIs.
Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance optimization, security best practices, and adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) principles.
Conduct unit testing and debugging to identify issues early in the development process; utilize tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, or TFS for version control and continuous integration.
Participate actively in Agile development cycles, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on backend engineering using languages such as C#, Java, Python or Ruby on Rails.
Extensive knowledge of web development frameworks including ASP.NET <PERSON>, MVC architecture, WCF services, and RESTful API design.
Hands-on experience with database design and management for SQL (Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL), MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL (MongoDB) systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications; understanding of CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), TypeScript along with UI/UX principles.
Strong understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), UML diagrams for system design, multithreading concepts and application debugging techniques.
Knowledge of version control systems including GitHub or SVN; experience working within Agile methodologies is preferred.
