Working for Ability Chiropractic has been a life changing experience. While my position requires scheduling patients and collecting payments, there is so much more to the role than that. I get to provide hope to those that have been struggling with their health and educate them on the benefits of not only getting a chiropractic adjustment, but taking control of their health as well. Ability encourages individuality and authenticity in all its employees - meaning they want us to be as much of our self outside of work while in our work setting.  Although I work with many doctors, they respect me as if I was a doctor myself. I can give constructive criticism to my team and my opinion is valued as if I was a doctor. Our team works together everyday to provide the best experience to patients everyday. On top of frequent training for our specific roles, we also do a lot of training on overall personal growth. I have been able to apply these skills to my personal life and create a better life for myself and my family. Ability provides an amazing environment for parents/caregivers as well. They ensure that you are able to be a part of your kid(s) life by providing a schedule that promotes exceptional work/home life balance. They are understanding when time off is needed for illness or special events! Our environment is inspired by true positivity. I have rarely had an conflicts while working here, but the ones that I have had were addressed promptly and professionally. 
Ability has also provided me additional resources like professional connections outside the company to set me up for long term success. Working for Ability has completely changed my life. 


I enjoyed working with most of the team at Ability Chiropractic, there are genuinely great people there. However, the position was not what I expected based on the job posting. The role was advertised as “Office Manager,” but in reality, it is a Patient Care Coordinator position that is primarily front-desk and patient-facing responsibilities.

The workload is very demanding! You are expected to manage front desk duties, assist in the back office, and tend to every patient without error. Despite working hard, it often feels like it’s difficult to keep up with the pace and expectations.

Turnover is extremely high, and patients frequently notice and comment on it. One patient informed me there were 10 people in my position before I got there. This made the role feel unstable, as it seemed like employees rarely stayed long-term.

Additionally, there is a STRONG focus on personal patient conversion, which for me, felt inauthentic, sales,  and pushy, which added pressure to the role. If you can’t get a patient in for make -up’s you’re looker down upon.

If you are considering this position, be aware that it is fast-paced, high-pressure, and more of a receptionist/patient coordinator role than a true management position.

Ability Chiropractic is such a wonderful place to work for so many different reasons. First off, it truly is a team environment. With their ever expanding portfolio of practices, you get the opportunity to work and train with large groups of like minded individuals to really hone your craft and grow as a doctor. Iron sharpens iron, and a growth mindset is absolutely necessary to thrive here. Second, is the passion that the whole team has for chiropractic and the importance of what we do. Ability is a company with a clear mission that is driven to make a difference in our city and in the entire landscape of healthcare. Lastly, Ability values patients and their health above all else. Everyone has seen a person or business lose sight of WHY they do what they do in the pursuit of success. Ability is GROUNDED in their mission to care for each and every patient that walks through our doors, and that more than anything is what gets me excited to come in every day. 

My time working at Ability Chiropractic was an amazing experience. Ability Chiropractic is a company that strives to positively impact the lives of others through natural chiropractic care. With that being said, they also strive to make sure their employees are happy. Through facilitating a positive environment, promoting professional growth, open communication, dedication to a team dynamic, continued education and trainings - the list continues to go on that makes Ability a wonderful company to be a part of. My husband recently took a new job which as a result had us relocate, but I wanted to take an opportunity to say if you are interested in working at Ability Chiropractic, you definitely should! I'm grateful to have been an employee there and to say I was part of such an incredible team with an amazing vision and focus!

Working at Ability Chiropractic has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. The team genuinely cares about patients, supporting one another, and creating a positive work environment.

Leadership is focused on long-term development versus simply maintaining the status quo. They are highly involved and invested in the success of both the company and its employees with a strong emphasis on personal growth, accountability, and celebrating wins together. Expectations are high but support and resources are available for those willing to learn and grow.

The best part of Ability, hands-down, is the people. Not only working alongside dedicated and passionate people who genuinely care about making a difference, but seeing the positive impact you have on patients and communities makes the work meaningful and rewarding.

Last year was a tricky situation for many as Covid forced businesses to close unexpectedly and many people lost their job... including me. However, it has been a blessing disguise, I found Ability at just the right time and I now have a job that I can’t wait to go into everyday. The cheerleading from my peers and the level of education I’m receiving is unparalleled to any previous job experience. The personal growth has been unexpected, humbling and most importantly; has me beyond excited to see what the future brings with Ability Chiropractic! I’m thankful to be a part of such an amazing team. 
Thus far, the most rewarding part of the job is giving patients hope... Hope they will make it through the day without a migraine. Hope they get their golf swing back. Hope to help alleviate or eliminate their pain. 
And my hope is to work for the Ability family for a very long time!!

Coming out of chiropractic school I had every intention of opening a solo practice in my hometown. I began at Ability through my school internship and wow - I was blown away by the drive, transparency, and passion exhibited by all of those that get to work here. Through the course of my internship it was an effortless decision to switch gears and join the team right after graduation. Over the past 2 years working with this amazing team I have experienced more professional and personal growth than I ever expected to receive from a "job." Every morning, I look forward to the opportunity to work with this amazing team to improve lives of those in our community. If you get the chance to become a member of our team, you will not be disappointed!

As a fairly new DC I had a lot of areas to improve upon. The team welcomed me with open arms, and I could not ask for a better opportunity to grow and hone my skills. Strongly rooted in the philosophy that chiropractic was founded on you will see that this is a place of true healing that everyone in the office is a part of. There is no dilution in the message that Ability stands for even though there are many offices, and that is truly a testament to the leadership that is present here. Being a part of something that is bigger than "just a job" is something you will find here, and there is no better family to do it with.
