Pre-Litigation Dept. is run by a top-down management approach where there are new changes implemented before the former change has even had sufficient time to see any results.
Partners approach paralegals as expendable items they CAN and WILL do away with, despite high performance and desire for professional growth.
Recently, they restructured the Pre-Litigation department stating that "If you did not agree you could go elsewhere" and  "There ARE opportunities for growth" However, when a paralegal questioned what opportunities were available, they said "We don't have any now." That paralegal was then fired days later.
TERRIBLE professional conduct by management toward legal professionals.
LACK of overall growth, NO stability, DEPLETING ethical conduct, and NO professional ethics.
NO leadership by management just a lot of people making decisions who careless who it impacts, how is impacts, and why their changes create a high turnover. 
To Management: stop being so concerned if you can make changes and start asking if you SHOULD.
Hire a more qualified Pre-Litigation Manager who doesn't create a high school environment that is encompassed around gossip and spiteful promotions and terminations.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Because they use teams for communication, as a paralegal you’re put into a paralegal chat as well as an intake chat where you volunteer for client calls to process. What they fail to tell you when you’re hired is that the process to volunteer is like the hunger games because you have a quota to meet for intakes, but the ratio for paralegals to volunteer & the case evaluators who offer the calls make no sense. For example there could be 10 evaluators & 30 paralegals trying to volunteer. ALG is fully aware of this, but when you bring this to their attention they pretend you didn’t & go about as usual. Also, the pay is the bare minimum for paralegals in California.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Its okay for about 4 weeks & then you realize why the turnover is so high. This is a factory type of law firm

Leadership at this firm is consistently unprofessional and fails to uphold the values it claims to represent. Employee turnover is extremely high, which is indicative of a toxic and unsustainable workplace culture. A partner is widely recognized for inappropriate conduct toward staff, and no corrective action has been taken.
Opportunities for advancement are limited, particularly for women, and compensation practices have been rumored to be inequitable even among attorneys. Hiring is largely based on personal connections to leadership, reinforcing favoritism over merit.
There is no credible HR function. HR is directly tied to the founder, creating an inherent conflict of interest and leaving employees without a legitimate avenue for concerns. This organization does not provide a professional, fair, or growth-oriented environment.

Replace current pre-litigation management with competent, qualified leaders who can foster a professional and respectful work environment. Trust your employees and provide the resources they need to succeed.

I was made an offer during interview and after began working, they did not comply and changed the responsibilities of the role 2 weeks into job.  I  began voicing concerns of how their new requirements were not attainable with the tools they provided. The managing attorney had been gaslighting me for months about how good a job I was doing and how happy she was to have me on the team.  The day I sent a detailed email with a list of items that were causing me not to be able to comply their expectations, I was let go. 

Abramson has newly revamped management structures since going remote for covid that make expectations and communication clear. It is nice to know where I stand at any given time with my performance. If you don't like showing up each day ready to take on a full workload, this isn't a good company, but in return there is reasonably quick opportunities for those who express interest to managers.

It’s clearly evident that the managers here just want to replace you with outsourced workers. It’s one thing to have them doing call center stuff but it’s quite another to have them replacing administrative roles involving lots of different tasks. The quality of work since more of these outsourced workers have been hired has absolutely nosedived and local employees are expected to clean up their mess. 

As an employee I like being part of a company that cares about doing all they can to help their clients. It's good to know that underneath all the business are a management team that has heart and wants to make the world a better place. New employee training systems and recent investments in mid-level management is solidifying the support system for employees in a noticeable way. I hope management keeps moving in this direction!

They will waste your time and hire you, however the training they give does not truly support the role so you have to ask for additional training. The onboarding specialist does not do their job so the consultant has to do everything and they are quick to call you aggressive when ever you high light a need for change. Most of the 5 rating are from higher up management trying to hide the company is garbage.

there was not one I can pinpoint as worthy to mention.

everything absolutely everything.

It does not exist. There is no culture. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Anxiety ridden, completely chaotic. Lack of support from management. Only communication was had was when an error  had been made.
