Culture
Advantum is a place where you can put your head down and work at the task you have been given. Like all other places of business Covid-19 has changed how things are done, but Advantum is rolling with the punches and allowing their staff to work from home.

Overall
In the time that I have been employed at Advantum, the company has continued to grow and improve.  I have never worked somewhere that allows for open and honest conversation about pay rates and promotions with my manager before. I enjoy working for Advantum because it is a place where I have been given the chance to advance and grow as an employee.

I worked at this company for six disorganized, helpless and stressful months. I was brought in on a new account and after six months they still had no idea what they were doing. It was downright embarrassing. The left hand don't know what the right hand is doing kind of situation. You work everyday with the possibility of being laid off over your head even if you work really hard. Management is clueless and very clicky. Their biggest problem is where to have lunch everyday!  Half of their leadership doesn't have what it takes to lead! You really don't get sufficient training to do your job at all, and help is hard to come by.  As soon as you find someone to help you learn the system, that person quits or gets fired. It's a very unprofessional and uncomfortable environment  with people in risky outfits, people cursing and threatening you while you're on the phone! and don't report anything to HR because they won't do  anything and that will be your ticket out the door. They don't care if someone threatens your personal safety or not. The easiest way for them NOT to deal with it is for them to kick you out. They have already run off many hard working people, do not add yourself to the ranks!

This is one of the most unprofessional unorganized companies I have ever worked for. I cannot even call this a company it just seems as if someone woke up one day and said hey I think I will start a credentialing company. There is no training involved and there is a lack of diversity in the management team. Beware if you decide to work here you would not receive any training and if you do it is worthless. Beware if you decide to work here and think that you have support you will not. Also, changes happen frequently which is common in the workplace however these changes can affect your job depending on what type of position you have within the company. While you are working on a project expect to be bombarded with emails and with these emails they want a quick response meanwhile delaying what you were working on. You know I could really go on and on but I don’t think I have enough space for this interview nor do I have the time I totally regret working at this company however the only valuable lesson that I can’t take away is that as one of my former colleagues stated I know what not to expect from my next employer. 

While there are many talented and dedicated employees at this company, the experience is significantly impacted by a lack of accountability from executive leadership.

Unfortunately, upper management often uses their positions in a way that discourages open communication. Power is sometimes used as a tool to guilt or silence rather than support and empower. This has created an environment where many employees are hesitant to speak up due to fear of retaliation or job insecurity.

There is a pressing need for leadership to model respectful, inclusive communication and prioritize building a culture of psychological safety. Investment in people —not just processes or optics-must become a central focus if the organization hopes to retain strong talent and grow in a healthy, sustainable way.

Until there is a shift in leadership behavior and more consistent accountability at the top, many of the challenges employees face will continue to go unaddressed.

A typical day at work? Coded for 4 clients with a severe lack of communication
what you believe you learned? I learned that this company does not like to give raises, Prefers to hire offshore people to save a dime and pretends you are valued when you are NOT.
Management? Sever lack in communication, I had been transferred to another supervisor for 3 weeks without my knowledge, They DO NOT care about thier employees.
Workplace culture? TERRIBLE
The hardest part of the job? The face that they will lie to you are just not communicate with you.
The most enjoyable part of the job? Working from home

Worked for two years and NEVER recieved a raise. 
The benefits a very poor.
They are hiring offshore in waves and letting Onshore people go-GOOD people.



So many issues with this company. Lack of oversight, poorly trained and under skilled labor off shore, while on shore team members are held to a higher set of productivity and standards.
Leadership is inconsistent, flip flops on issues constantly, so you never know what to expect.
Clients are promised one thing, but the deliverable is quite different, mainly told they are "experts" in billing practices for specific service, but they aren't. Clients are told accounts will be worked by on shore personnel, but the accounts get moved off shore, anything to save a nickel. Clients are king during the sales cycle, but once the contract is signed, they move on to the next sale and treat existing clients like they are a nuisance.
When you consistently put profits before people, soon you have neither.

Do yourself a favor run as fast as you can away from this job and this company. The provider enrollment team and leadership are the worst! Problems start from the head and trickle down to the hourly staff. The company does not provide training, they don't have any process in place,  they don't support staff.  Job expectations and client load is unrealistic.  They lie to clients and give unrealistic expecations that they can't meet.  Leaders and fellow staff talk to each other any kind of way. Staff turn over is insane.  In the short time I was the company between 5-10 staff left in 60 days.  The provider enrollment lead role req is always posted on indeed because of the turn over.  The list goes on and on.  But bottom line run!!! 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working for Advantum was the position was remote.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everyday it was something different management unsure of the workflow. Follow up from management was awful to say the lest. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Advantum had an offshore team that they favored more than the onshore team even though the onshore team were more knowledgeable than the offshore. Trying to save a dollar, but the work was not acceptable. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Everyday was different. You had a new task daily or even in the same day.

When  you are hired on be prepared to take on dying clients and literally have to untangle the mess! When trying to untangle everything you get push  back from people you must go to for answers or the answers are EXTREMELY unclear. I have never worked at a company that was so difficult and lies to clients. When you reach out to your management for assistance they are annoyed by you asking normal questions or act like you’re a burden. Also, I know you’re trying to cut cost by hiring offshore people but it’s honestly hurting things! It only cause more problems and stress for the onshore people who actually have to interact with clients!!! Please change 

As an hourly employee it was smooth sailing. Once you level up to management, NO ONE helps you with anything. Clients are allowed to run you over. Zero communication from upper management. Would need to work 80 hours a week to stay on top of the insane client requests. Pay is below industry standard. Even though most work remotely they still have very obvious cliques and favoritism.
