Aequor

There are a few details that need clarifying.
1.  Aequor is the company I worked for.  (The people there were great.)
2. ATOS is the company that contracted us to do the work that they should have been able to do themselves.
3. Glenmede was the final company that just needed a working solution so they could move forward.

In summary, when I was called on board, they were six months behind on a project and needed resources.

The truth, is that they were a year into the project, running out of money allocated, some idiot developed a deployment plan that was clearly flawed and doomed to fail.  

In summary, had I the power to say, I could have developed a new solution, to rebuild systems in half the time, in house, with all of the needed adjustments to make their corporate level apps work, adhere to the gov regulations that they were supposed to, and maintain it that way steady state.

Instead, in a single few hours, some others elected to make changes to the environment that started implemented unfinished changes, simply because management wanted to save money,  They risked it all, because if could have potentially financially cost them a lot.  I however don't know, because I was blamed without cause and chose never to return to a ridiculous company that really ought to give all of their Executive Etch-A-Sketchs.

But the second part of the story goes like this.  I actually did my job, I rewrote many routines to streamline their processes and made it possible for them to finish in time.  The only problem is, they ran out of hardware and money to continue the rollout.  

One day, as we were waiting, I realizing another individual had a great capacity for really understanding how all of the completes work, when done right.  He was the one guy, in my opinion, skilled enough to understand all the things I did to make things work.  On a personally level, so I liked him enough to show him the inner works and how the pieces fell into place.  I hope he appreciates one day I handed him a working solution, with room for improvement, but working nonetheless.  I finished developing a working solution and then  handing off to him to finish before I signed off for the last time.

I hope he learned from me and I hope he puts that good knowledge to use.  I wish him well.

Someone asked why I didn't just delay all of my information.  My simple answer is, it would have made me just as bad as them with their poor code, bad worth ethics, and so little very interest is resolving the huge amount of effort require to keep their company safe and guarded and secure in today's world. 

They have nothing I didn't write.  And I can continue to grow and develop in projects and at companies that deem worthy to help, defend, and never let down.

My Opinion of Glenmede to work at is "0 Stars'.

-Commission structure is extremely competitive. If you put in the extra effort and work hard, you can be making 150k+ after 1-2 years (depending on quicky you ramp up)
-Leaders and managers are very supportive
-15 days PTO, with an extra day for each year you work there (up to 20)
-Coworkers are fun and laid back, lots of room to joke around while still being very results-driven
-Hardest part is you will need to put in over 40 hours for at least your first 6 months - a year but the longer you are with the company, the better the work/life balance gets
-Really have to be ok with following advice and constructive criticism
-Candidates aren't always nice to you so you really can't be sensitive, need to be able to shake off the bad quick and move on or else you will be miserable in this field

If I could give this company zero stars I would. The education team is very cliquey, if you are not liked by the right person you will get laid off quickly or never be seen for higher opportunities. New recruiters have unrealistic expectations that will never be told to them. New recruiters numbers are compared to tenured recruiters. No resources for recruiting, no trainings, barely an internal system to work with. They will do massive hiring recruiters just to lay them all off in less than six months. Multiple recruiters were let go weeks if not days before the holidays with no warning or notice. Reasons given were made up and not true. Do not work here 

As a former recruiter for the education team, I cannot recommend working for this company as an internal or external employee. 

No retirement,  no maternity leave, inconsistent expectations, frequent emails from leadership lambasting the efforts of the team, management does not have experience, allowing spouses to oversee the territory and production, and inconsistent resources. 

After walking away on my own volition, I can gladly say that my quality of life and finances have improved. 

Aequor should begin by leaning on the team that got them to a place of success, be curious and ready to learn. If not, they will continue to hire, lay-off, and belittle those who show up daily. 


I love my school. Aequor was able to find me a terrific placement. I love my work and Aequor was able to help me get the compensation I needed to be able to support my family and do what I love. The culture is one of compassion and hard work. Everyone works hard for everyone else with no expectation of reward. The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to work with students and their families to help them reach goals and see achievement. The hardest part of the job is trying to find ways to push forward when you feel like you’re failing. You have to maintain perspective to keep pushing and keep working.

I worked with Aequor for about 2 years. The recruiters were great. I always found that they were very organized and made sure everything was taken care of and easy to get ahold of if I had any issues.

I don’t think any in particular. Traveling can be stressful in general but I felt that the company was very organized and it helped things run smoothly. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
All remote but everyone worked well together. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I used Aequor for travel nursing but enjoyed my assignments.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Very toxic environment and leadership only cares about $$$

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Leadership pinned divisions against each other which created a very toxic environment - It was all about $ - low commissions and alot promises that were never followed through.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Full of stress - and at times unbearable - lose a lot of sleep because of the demands of the day

I have no opinion about this company because I never worked with them.  They were just a name on a paycheck.  I worked at Sysco Foods and they were AMAZING! Aequor was a subcontracted company, 3 times removed... Sysco contracted with one company who contacted another who contacted another who contacted Aequor who contacted me.

They weren't even in my state so I never met anyone, all I had was a phone call and an email address to send me hours.  However the job they had for me was a lot of fun and I loved everyone there.  The job only ended because of issues between Sysco and one of the other contract companies, not between Aequor or anyone that worked for them.

extremely micro-managed. daily reports outlining every candidate you work with that is reviewed by multiple managers and looked over with a fine tooth comb. designated lunch times and bathroom breaks. multiple people cant be gone at the same time for lunch; you werent allowed to have group lunches because management was afraid people would talk bad about the company. 
 no new business to work on. the company caters to 1 single account who is difficult to work with so there is no way to make any real income. 
 Manager is always absent and has other people looking over your shoulder to report back on you. there is no trust or camaraderie in the office.

I interviewed for an RBT position and received a job offer the next day.
The recruiter prepped me beforehand, they also advocated for a higher pay (I've never had a recruiter do that before) since I was working less hours than desired (I wanted 40, I'm working 32 hours).

The communication has been prompt and you feel advocated for within your placement.
They check in with you to ensure all is well.

Benefits are good, and I get to do what I love which is working with kiddos!
