Allswell staffing is a great agency to work per diem.  Hours are flexible, and I am fortunate to have been able to work in two areas through UCLA 200 Medical plaza over a period of 2 years.

UCLA Vascular Center is a fast paced interesting clinic.  As an RN you set up for and assist with outpatient angiograms.

  Pre procedure, assessing history, pain, medications etc, as well as obtaining consent, and preparation for the procedure.  
Assisting the physician during the procedure as well as monitoring pt's vital signs and comfort.  Sometimes assisting anesthesiology as some patients are sedated.
Post op assessing for pain, pulses, paresthesia, bleeding etcetera. 
Preparing for discharge with teaching and follow up appointments.
Proper documentation.

UCLA hyperbarics  was a whole new learning experience for me.
An opportunity to learn how hyperbaric treatment works and benefits all different types of patients, from healing of chronic wounds, to treatment of acutely ill ICU patients requiring treatment for brain abscesses, dive sickness, gangrene, and exposure to carbon monoxide. As well as many other conditions.
Learned a lot from the dive technicians who are expert at  assisting them through their treatments, and running the chambers.  
Able to dive with the ICU patients, some of whom were vented.  Learned how to care for a patient in a totally different environment, such as pressure simulation of a dive of up to 60ft under water.

There is usually an MD and a Critical Care RN on the site at all times during treatment to be available if needed.
Wound care assessment, and documentation. 
 Teaching  patients about how treatment is beneficial to them.
New patient consults done on a regular basis.
Accurate documentation

Data entry, coding radiology reports, explanation of benefits or remittance advice, customer service, credit card in take, speaking with staff from clients offices. My boss taught us very well, she was very easy to learn from and always had such a great personality. 
My co-workers are still my friends to date, I miss them but I also know I am in place where I can continue to grow and expand new horizons. The hardest part of our job was to try and stay and focused when animals for visitors, they were just babies and it was so hard not to just fall in love and cuddle, when each one got a chance. Most 
enjoyable was our Halloween pot luck, and the games and prizes we 
use to have.

I learned how to multi-task and communicate greatly through the company intranet. If you are doing your job...the management would not disturb you. The department I was in would get busy when they had to get busy then smile with each other as soon as the rush of calls were done (our sign of relief ). The hardest part of the job was leaving when my temp assignment ended. I enjoyed working with people who maintain their professionalism.

All’s well recruiters and managers are very unprofessional and very unorganized. The whole experience from start to finish I had to keep reaching out asking what’s the next step. Calling the office you can forget it they don’t answer. They give half information. They argue back and forth and have said outright they are not taking her responsibility. The leadership is horrible ! Argues back and forth instead of taking accountability for mishaps and mistakes made on information misgiving. 

My recruiter misquoted my compensation package. Then tries to get my contract released so I could be a direct hire and then the company changed the wage the computer availability and the offer. When I saw additional posting for which I qualified I was not being submitted and emailed the recruiter. Now that person has left and another recruiter submitted me for an interview which was pulled a few hours before the scheduled appointment. Four days later to find the company has no position.  As a recruiter i see they must be so eager to accept and fill contracts they see not vetting their companies sufficiently.

While working with this other half of a sad company [Apple One] I was treated with respect and belonging. The team and coordinators made sure I was kept in the loop and were approachable if EVER an issue arose and were quick to ensure placement. When hospital mergers occurred and contract positions were sparce All's Well put in the work to ensure I wasn't left out to dry. Though their internal staff is constantly shifting they do manage to employ helpful individuals. I have recommended them for healthcare individuals looking for ease of transition and the individuals have been thankful but I can only speak on my experience. give them a try if you like.

Everyday in the Loma Linda Family Residency program was a fast pace friendly and caring environment. My job consist of calling patients back to there rooms and taking there vitals. Waiting for orders from the resident and the attendee to come up with a plan to manage patients care. Being under the supervision of two LVN's and  two MA's working as a team is key to success. The toughest part of the job is working with patients that are mentally unstable but a challange is what made this job interesting everyday and helping them with there needs.

All's well is a Temporary agency. I  was a employee for All's Well during my 20's and they were fast with finding work for me. Although the assignments were short term they were fast with finding me work as a medical office clerk. I do plan on returning back to that job agency but I don't know if things are the same.Now days medical office position are looking for people who have years of medical office experience. I honestly don't have any other paid medical office experience besides All's well experience. The manager was wonderful.

What is the best part of working at the company?
All'sWell kept me working through the pandemic at top paying jobs. And I generally enjoyed the jobs.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
My only stress was not being able to speak directly, face to face with the folks I was working for 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment was pretty calm and relaxed. We worked hard, but we had fun while we did.

I have never worked with a staffing agency, but I hope they are all as amazing as the team at All's Well. The recruiter I worked with was so kind and helpful through the entire process. Onboarding with the HR team was a breeze. Thank you to everyone that helped me get placed with the team I am currently with!  I couldn't have asked for a better interviewing and hiring process. Of course working with a staffing agency means your assignment isn't permanent, but I am hopeful for the possibility of my contract being extended.
