Where do I even begin:

The work culture is horrible, the managers and directors do not care about their employees or their concerns for their jobs, work loads or the business.

They will back peddle on things like bonuses or raises. The job is highly unpredictable, you think you're starting out as an actual claims adjuster at a reputable company, yet instead, you have just become a glorified call center representative.

No actual claims are done because they force their employees to be on the phone all day every day, while their own personal assigned claims list grows more and more.

The managers will disrespect you if you give any negative feedback or concern with how the business is handled. There is no actual clear definition of your job duties because it changes week to week.

They will fire you on the spot, with little to no reasoning, even if your reason is valid.

They are a turnstile company, one in, one out, save yourself the trouble.

The "training" is non existent, 1 to 2 weeks does not equate to learning their systems, new or old and being able to handle a claim, but once you hit the floor, you're expected to know.

Anytime you need a manager, they are never anywhere to be found.

Internal resources say that all the managers care about is incoming phone call adherence, they don't care about anything else.

The real victims suffered by this company are it's employees and USAA members.

Immediate supervisors never have a straight answer for you. They have a Vice President of claims operations that has never worked a claim but tells you how it should be handled and dictates your pay. They value quantity over quality, and that Is reflected in the quality of work that’s being produced. They are severely understaffed and under pay the staff they do have. The job use to have a production based pay system which would allow you to be in control of your salary. With the new pay structure your still required to produce outrageous numbers for a set pay. The only way to get a raise is to get a promotion, but degrees and experience mean nothing here, it’s pure nepotism based.  The company started out on the right track but growing too fast and being greedy has taken its toll on the staff and it is reflected in the work. When the new pay structure was introduced you were told if you didn’t like your new salary you could take your licenses elsewhere. Communication is non-existent and their response to the pandemic was poor. Thankfully I now have a position with a company who values me, unfortunately some of my old coworkers are still there and going in to the office everyday because it’s business as usually in their eyes. When you ask about an issue it’s always pushed to someone else and your never given a true timeline or outcome. If you go to HR you’ll be black listed once it gets back to management, so no one says anything. 

This company provided paid training as well as great guidance from managers and co workers. I had a wonderful time learning and becoming much more proficient in my work. I did find great satisfaction and love for the work I had done knowing I did the best I could with what was provided through the claims. I stayed for 2 years and found that overall the company does not care about you as you are easily replaced. They do not handle the Pandemic well. They were slow to get people working from home and fast to get people back in the office. They do not care for your wellbeing and have it up to the employees to be careful (and from what social media shows is a bad idea). They care about quantity over quality even though you are graded from every little thing that you do on a daily basis that affects pay. If your team does bad they will do everything to make you do better, if your team is already and has been doing very well you are ignored and not taken seriously. I'm not writing this review to say don't work here. This is a good company to work for if you are looking for a job that has paid training, but like any other job (especially as a desk adjuster) putting yourself in the work too much will drain you. As advice before joining the company is make sure you do what you can do and always care for your metal health first before your job. 

Regrettably, this may not be the most ideal workplace to ever consider if I was you. The majority of your time will likely be spent in what is referred to as the "secure room," where you'll be stationed at your computer, handling calls and working on claims. Despite the company's assertion that it is not a call center, the reality may differ. While some managers exhibit commendable leadership qualities, it appears that the overarching concern for many is their own position within the company. It is my sincere hope that those managers with positive leadership qualities find opportunities for themselves elsewhere.

 On occasion, the directors will enter the secure room from time to time, but honestly I haven't seen a thing they done that is impressing (sorry not sorry). It's important to note that the human resource personnel may prioritize the company's interests over individual needs, so forming friendships with them is not necessarily going to lead to the support one might hope for. In a more positive light, if obtaining an adjuster license is part of your career goals, this could be a suitable place to acquire it before exploring other opportunities. 

This company is good if your looking for a stepping stone to a better insurance company. If your working as an adjuster this job experience can be great.

However, if you are hired for any other position its horrible. Training is nothing more than side by sides and presentations. You are expected to understand it within two weeks if not they will not hesitate on letting you go. 

If you have a good relationship with your manager you can come into work for 2 hours and get a full days pay. But if you get on their bad side then they will make working there difficult. They will start with micromanaging you and write you up for any reason they can find till they can fire you. Even if your good at your job, the moment the manager targets you its best to start looking for another job because they will fire you.

There is no job security at this company and the HR department will try to sweep any complaints under the rug. But if you are a manager they will protect you, even if you harass the employees or commit fraud.

If you can keep your head down and your mouth shut, this job is decent. Otherwise, I recommend getting your adjusters license here and a bit of experience then look for a company that values its employees. 

Don't expect annual raises or work performance raises they rarely happen. 

This company is good if your looking for a stepping stone to a better insurance company. If your working as an adjuster this job experience can be great.

What they say in the job posting and interview is either not the whole truth, or an outright lie. 
- the claim to NOT be a call center, when in fact it is.
- they don’t allow sunlight in to where people work, meaning you’re sitting in front of a computer for 8+ hours a day, making you feel more and more tired.
- they claim there is a 90-day probationary period after which you’ll receive full benefits and a $5000/ year raise. Except that (small) extra money is CONDITIONAL based on if your specific manager believes you deserve it. Even though it’s presented as temporary. 
- CAT hours are presented as optional and an extra $125/hr except you don’t receive CAT pay until after your 1st 4hrs of overtime (we’re salary so hourly makes no sense) and they can make it mandatory whenever they choose. In fact, they can even force you to come in on a Saturday, making you work 6-days a week without a pay increase. 
- They want you to focus on claims given to you but at the same time are required to drop everything if the phone rings, creating more work.

I could go on. 

The management is erratic and they do the very bare minimum when it comes to employee care. You can see people come and go, looking more and more depressed. 
It’s not worth it. 

while i was employed there i never was placed into a position where i was actively an adjuster but more like a hamster on a squeaky wheel! I was in the "letters" department which is what third parties use to keep on task for the actual adjusters, then they make you sift through hundreds of claims a day to update the "status" of various claims to keep the clients happy and the department organized. handling hundreds of claims at a time is daunting for anyone since most of claims are legally monitored , managers work like zombies here like most other agents and hardly have any personal time let alone quality time to themselves, the nature of claims can be very involved so making sure someone is strong in organizational skills is a must. I never had the chance to because i quit this company for the way management was treating me, i made sure to let them know how i felt and because of that they tried to say i was "fired" when i was not, i  voluntarily left because of how terrible my managers were

This company can be used as a stepping stone to better insurance companies. They teach you the test which makes getting your adjusters license easy. They charge you for the license training if you leave before a year but their collection efforts are minimum so its pretty much free. 

Since this company is small, having a good manager relation is a must. If you get along you can show up for 2hrs and get paid for the whole day. But if the relationship is bad then every move you make is questioned. 

There is little to no advancement opportunities. Most moves are lateral and don't come with a pay raise. However, you can become manager if you wait long enough. 

You pretty much have to figure out how to do your job on your own. Training is side by side with no notes or standard operating procedures. 

Overall, good work experience for your resume with bad pay and benefits.



A typical day at work is being given directions by a supervisor that knows less than you and is half your age probably paid twice as much as you to do a job that most are poorly trained at all the while the company makes maximum profit at the Insurance carriers expense only to turn around and pay you as little as $12-15 an hour. You might get the occasional appreciation BBQ but that's just so the owners can tell you to quit slamming them on social media and reviews like this. Bottom line 1. If you ain't cute with nice boobs or not ok with a  VP staring at your junk. 2. A team roper. 3. Friends with the owners, president, vice president, or certain managers. You will never be more than an entry level employee being paid a 1/4 of the industry standard handling an constantly increasing workload. So if you are desperate to break into the insurance claims industry and be treated poorly by a short fat dumpy millionaire with his own plane then this is a great place to start!
