Altametrics provided me with an opportunity to pivot my career, and for that, I am grateful.

It's unnecessarily stressful to work at Altametrics. There is no air circulation, no A/C during the hot summers, and no heat during the cold winters. This adds an extra layer of misery to the poor office culture. 

Staff is constantly on edge. Management squeezes everybody with loads of pressure to do work that staff is unequipped to complete. There is an expectation that staff is required to "just figure it out." Only the most resourceful can marginally succeed (and by resourceful, I mean pay for software/equipment out of your own pocket).

I spent a lot of time and money researching new skills. While I am grateful for the opportunity to learn new skills, I must also acknowledge that I took the initiative to do so. Altametrics presented the problem, and then provided zero support.

Compensation at Altametrics is poor. The amount of extra hours it takes to complete tasks makes the job grossly underpaid. Additionally, the thresholds for commission are vastly out of reach. Altametrics has a structure in place that makes it difficult to succeed and difficult to be compensated properly.

I do not have anything hateful to say about anyone there. I think they really feel like they are doing what's best. Having said that they have gone through 3 sales TEAMS not individuals in less than 2 years. They provide ZERO training, there is absolutely no leadership of the sales team, and as far as a ladder or career path they say there is one but the rules seem to change at a moments notice. Being in sales there is like being a limb that has been voluntarily severed from an otherwise healthy body. I read the Glassdoor reviews and thought wow this could be just sour grapes how could it be that bad. Well 99% of what is on Glassdoor I would have to say in regards to the Sales department is consistent with my experience. I hope they can turn it around and actually begin to question why they lose so many people. Maybe then there is some hope for them to become a great place for sales professionals to work.

What is the best part of working at the company?
None. The experience gained is not enough to compensate the stress the company provides.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Too many to mention. One is time trackers. In-office or remote you are required to turn on time tracker that takes screenshots and activity percentage per website. Another is management team. They just promote whoever is close to the CEO even if they have 0 knowledge of the job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is extremely toxic because of the micromanagement and incompetent managers. Everyone keeps resigning even new hires. High turnover = toxic company.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typical day is full of unnecessary management meetings with no agenda.

I was constantly being asked to start at different times randomly. Job functions changed constantly. Emails I received being read even ones I received from HR. This place lacks a company culture & values. Benefits package is laughable they don’t even have 401K.  You have to wait 6 months to start accruing PTO. No tattoos or piercings allowed. Saw 7 or so people leave in a short period of time. Their overall presence online is a lie. They have things that mention they’re the best place to work awards but from who?! Overall leadership has zero leadership skills. They work with some of the biggest fast food chains yet are so cheap. Show that you actually care about your employees instead of trying to make a profit. Red flag alert. 

Do not fall for the lure.  The only employees who are happy and make any money in this company are the long term people who are technically attached to the original software.  Management  processes are controlled by the CEO who is an Adolf Hitler control maniac.  All of the managers must  do as the CEO mandates or they will not last.  The environment is a complete fear factor.  One never knows when the axe will fall.  Employees who have dedicated their life to the company for many years suddenly find themselves removed.  If you are fresh out of college and have no other opportunities this may be a start.  If you are ready to retire and out of your long term position with another company there may be a fit.  Beware the outside looks very good. The inside is very dark.

The work environment here resonates with the ethos of resilience and adaptability. The collaborative spirit among colleagues is akin to the camaraderie found in a tight-knit community, where everyone works together towards a common goal. I've witnessed a genuine appreciation for diverse perspectives, fostering an atmosphere that encourages creativity and innovation.

Good product with a solid customer base

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Executive management (CEO) is capricious, arbitrary and unprofessional.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Turn ‘em and burn ‘em.  No one lasts here and there is no degree of professionalism to be found.  Customers are viewed with hostility at the CEO level and relationships are very confrontational.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Don’t work there any longer.  Wouldn’t advise this for other than an entry level (low pay) seeking experience.

No. No. No. Zero benefits of any kind, no growth potential. Insanely low salaries. Boring company with inexperienced and poor management. CEO that needs to be replaced and booted. No good benefits or 401k. Happy hour? More like dead hour. Treated like a child, have to clock in/out. Company buys 2 pizzas and its a huge special occasion. Nobody really cares for your career advancement. Overall horrible environment. If you want to live that kind of poor life then Altametrics is the place to go! Any other company is a better option. Be patient, apply elsewhere and do not take any offers given. You will regret it!

The training is thorough and you will be given all the materials you need in order to succeed at your role. The people who work here are also pretty cool which makes for a fun work environment.  

As a Sales Rep, you are given a territory, a daily success plan and all the training you need to make phone calls, presentations and help turn prospects into sales. You just have to work hard and follow the plan. It is not easy but the company's vision for success does work. You have the largest restaurant companies in the world as clients which gives you credibility when prospecting, and you can use it to your advantage.

The company's commitment to staying current in the rapidly evolving IT landscape is commendable. Working with such a robust stack is a dream for any tech enthusiast.
