a typical day at work would consist of you logging into the computers software and double checking on the system to see if any appointments were cancelled either by the patient or provider. Also you are to call patients the day of their appointment and see if they will be attending so that you are able to go pick them up and that they show. I've learned how to manage my time having a set schedule and keeping track of how much time you have left before the next pickup or your breaks.The management of all this to the most part is very well organized because there is alot of communication between drivers and patients as well as supervisors. the hardest part of this job was having to accept that the vehicles are equipped with gps trackers and speed limit tracker so i get a bit nervous when im passing a car or speeding to enter the freeway to avoid collision or a possible slowdown to cars behind you. the most enjoyable part is getting to know people and the potlucks or breakfast rewards that happen every so often.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The girls are so unfriendly and get annoyed if you ask question it very clickish supervisors and the front office girls party  together it horrible .  They treat non English speaking patients so disrespectful.  Don’t even think about working there

No respect from your coworkers ir supervisor

I’m no longer even associated with them

Horrible place to work at. Just a horrible place. The front receptionist and their supervisor are a joke. They just sit their and talk bad about the patients and even the doctors. I was off for a week my dr put me off and when I try to call my supervisor to get my schedule I get let go over a voicemail, how pathetic is that so the HR department is as bad. When I tried calling to see why I was let go they don’t answer my calls and HR ignores my calls this was just an awful place to work. If I could give it 0 starts I would.

The staff is amazing. Fun, upbeat environment. Good support.

It is very fast paced, busy office. There is excellent team support

Supportive, team atmosphere, busy, productive, room for professional growth 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Conduct patient visits, provide care, write for medication, chart.

Job is great! Not difficult for a nurse. One needs to multitask, assess patients when needed, assist doctor with patient care, injections, wound care, solve medication issues. Your knowledge to vaccines and immunizations will expand. Human Resources is great! Management listens to your concerns they do not micro manage. Altura has awesome medical providers and easy to communicate with them.

This company is employed by friends of friends of someone who works there(Usually a manager or supervisor). Supervisors will berate you, especially if you're political views don't agree with their own. Supervisors have their favorites and talk gossip all day about others. It's like being in high school all over again.

Overall a good place to work, a little hectic at times but overall, the management cares for the staff. A lot of good, hard-working people trying to support their families. My supervisor always encourages me to be the best.  Some of the bad reviews are from people who are just not happy with life. 

A whole lot of nepotism going all the way to the ceo the whole company is an inside job. Employees working there 10+ years prettyuch think they are your managers when their badge reads the same as everyone else's.

Management is unprofessional. Supervisors and leads all talk about employees to other employees who then actually tell the individual they talked about.  This place definitely works by favoritism. If your looking to work with older people who miss high school this place might be right for you
