The only thing great is the people I work with and my General manager. Everyone respects one another.  Flexible in work hours if time off is needed. 
Taking care of patients and clients with great care. I see that our staff at the branch really goes the extra mile for them. We don’t treat them or see them as a dollar signs unlike our sales team and corporate side. 
More work continues to be taxed on without any compensation or offer to grow within the company. 
Corporate side does not care to hear or want to know what our opinions are to help improve issues that arises. 
The cost of living has increased by 80% and the 1.7%  pay increase does not even cover gas  for the month to drive to work. You have employees working 2 or 3 jobs just to make ends meet. They are exhausted! 
We are consider BrightSprings yet we receive no compensation, benefits, holiday  time off like Bright Springs. 
The company continues to aquire more branches yet they can’t give employees a decent raise or bonus. 
Ridiculous positions are made from a former competitors ex employees yet they can’t give us a decent pay increase or holiday party.
The medical insurance that the company switched to is the worst insurance and extremely expensive! Most of  the providers are out of net work with or have no idea of the plan. We are having to hold off on our health care because now we have to find new providers. When calling the benefits line there is no solution and all they say is we can go anywhere and accept all providers as long as they accept the insurance! Make this make sense for everyone! We have our providers for certain issues that has been established for years and now  with the new insurance we can’t even get that care because no provider in Utah knows anything about imagine360.  You guys have us no options and didn’t even consider the needs of employees.
 Our GM and supervisor are the only people who  goes the extra mile to build up the office morale to show how much employees are appreciated and  they do it most of the time  out of their own pockets. 
The more I continue with this survey, the more I question why I am still here. 
Because even doing  this survey it still will do nothing to improve the complaints employee’s have. 
Amerita has some great employees but you don’t have happy employees. I wish that the corporate side could actually have some empathy and understand what is needed to have keep good employees. 


I never write reviews but if I can save 1 person from this place then I will. This company writes its own rules as it goes. It’s much like high school and the owners favor “friends” they have known for years. If you don’t fit into their box your out. They consistently violate their own written policies to suit their needs. I have never seen a place with such high turnover. And it is chaotic and the most unorganized place I have ever seen. Lack of communication is an understatement. Literally weekly you can expect employees putting in their notice or out of the blue being terminated. It was a joke almost around the office to see who was going for the week. They make so many promises upfront and then after working there you start to see the big picture. When I gave input on the older staff being favored and listened to versus new employees it was ignored. I was poorly trained, and wasn’t explained many of the procedures or polices I literally was throw out to figure out things on my own. If they terminate you, there will be no warning, write up, etc. When they decide they don’t want you your out. I had 2 other job offers at the time and highly regret accepting employment here instead.I have been in the field I work in 12 years and have never seen anything like this company.  I had many friends that had worked there that had warned me of which now I wish I had listened. So if you are considering employment here I would advise you to think twice. I highly doubt in an interview if you ask about the turnover they would be truthful. I cannot stress how unethical and unprofessional this company is. Beware...

I chose OO because I am a nurse with young children and I wanted to be able to spend more time with my family. My job is as a field infusion nurse, so I travel to patient’s homes and give them infusions or do dressing changes for central lines/PICCs. It’s relatively easy work with lots of travel around the state. (I come from an ER/ICU background.) There is a fair amount of flexibility in your schedule, working 8-5 type hours, so it’s great for my young family’s scheduling needs! If you are looking for an easy side job, doing this PRN or PT would be ideal (in my opinion).
OO provides well for the nurses, including good pay (especially vs other HH type jobs) and great benefits. My job is relatively solitary and I enjoy the independence. Occasionally I work in the Ambulatory Infusion Suites, which is fast-paced and energetic, and very team-work oriented.
Most of the patient’s are extremely kind and grateful for the care. OO administration/billing does a great job caring for and advocating for the patients.
I highly recommend working for Option One. The owners have done a fantastic job making sure we all keep our jobs and are SAFE during the COVID19 pandemic. I have never been so grateful to have such an amazing company looking out for me and making sure I am well prepared and protected. I am blessed to have this job!

This is by far the worst place I’ve ever worked. The pay was horrible considering the workload. Not only was I the medical records clerk but also the receptionist, everyone’s assistant, the mail clerk, the Insurance Re-Auth, etc. The fax queue is so busy. You build referrals and work the fax queue for 3 different departments. One time they gave me over 3000 letters to put in envelopes, label and stamp them all before the first of the year.. they were given to me at the end of December (how is that apart of the medical records position? ) They treat you like you’re literally the dirt on the bottom of their shoe. You ask for help or for them to change things and they do the complete opposite and add more work to your already impossible workload and just expect you to do it. The manager and the new GM are horrible!  They can’t stay staffed, especially in medical records so everything falls on you. Most likely they’ll never have 2 people in that position like they’re supposed to and still expect you to do a two person job. They make everything sound so exciting at the interview but don’t believe them, it’s not what it’s all made out to be. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! Don’t do it!!!!!!! 

This is the typical Corporation. The CEO makes 3x the average CEO for this Market Share. He made 17M last year.  The entire 'C' Suite makes less than 4M/Y. For what they pay and the production they expect, you can go to McDonalds and make the same money and have way less stress. Management is nothing short of Big Brother. They monitor minute by minute. Literally. They have a report that shows your every minute action/non-action and criticize. Only motivation is 'Do More for Less.'. Pay is NOT competitive. Benefits are not similar or competitive. Our entire Collections Dept received an annual pay increase of less than 1%. They do have an 'incentive' plan but, they've made it more and more difficult to earn it. They will not allow adjustments during the year in order to make the 'C' Suite bonuses increase. So, you as a collector will have to carry all this money on your books just so the bottom line is secure. The more you have on your books & the longer you hold it the less you get in 'incentive bonus'. They went public in January so, the greed will get even worse to pay the share holders now. 

This company doesn’t seem to value its employees. The pay for this performance expectation is extremely lacking. The HR department sits on its thumbs and put up constant road blocks for new hires and employee needs. The availability of the IT department is a joke. 1.5 hours on hold to speak to IT is disastrous and warrants a serious consideration in if this company deserves to “provide” services to patients in the medical field. There is no transparency in the company’s goals/motives for decisions. The health insurance is absolutely terrible and the team who agreed for it obviously never even has a cold during the year. It is an absolute waste and so expensive that some co-workers have taken part time jobs on the side to supplement the $1,000-$1,500 monthly premiums. Only to still have $2,000-$4,000 deductibles and $4,000-$8,000 OOP. Disgraceful.

Over the last year every part of working here has gone downhill. There is no communication between management and teams. I honestly haven’t even know who my supervisor was and I still don’t. There is no clear chain of command and we are stuck putting out fires on a day to day basis. 
There is no proper training and even those who are considered “trainers” are very limited on their knowledge and have no clear expectations of new employees.  
It seems that this company has created and fostered a blame culture that has created and tolerated hostile and rude behaviors between employees. 
I used to love working here but now I dread coming to work. I’m burned out and tired of begging for help from management only to be ignored or given false promises.

In terms of job security at Amerita, I think Amerita likes to hold on to the trouble employees. If you have any integrity you will be ran out.

In general, managers at Amerita Very poorly managed. This is a "Corporate Culrure" operations is alway at the bottom.

Culture
Collaboration with my colleagues at Amerita has a very poor culture when it comes to employee happiness and just general daily common courtesy and respect of in another.

Overall
My experience working at Amerita I could see the great potential in this particular office. But with poor management and no HR support it has taken a drastic dip into angry environment.

Amerita is a fine organization that is experiencing growing pains. Success in moving towards more chronic patient care while maintaining/growing acute care has created a work environment that has employees pushed to the point of exhaustion. This has caused the company to lose many good employees and to be continually hiring new people in often times critical positions. Training new hires is done on the fly with little to no corporate support for the training needed. With that said Amerita is a company that does try to live their values and is working towards creating a better employee experience. When you go home after a long day's work you know you have worked hard and have helped many people in the process.

Taking care of many patients and having an opportunity to provide health services at home when they need them the most

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
24/7 on call.  Corporate worried more about themselves than the staff.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Pins & Needles.  Corporation encourages staff to report any and everything.  So can manage from afar.  Should spend more time tracking work levels on computer, production numbers, stats & patient outcomes.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Morning call then holy moly gym class till 6pm when everyone has to leave and last minute shipments are being finished.  Stressful organized chaos.
