For call center agents, the training is inadequate to comfortably prepare you for work on the phones. Call center management is more focused on answering the calls in a timely manner (for the sake of numbers) than actually assisting the callers on the first call or the agents when help is requested. It can be very frustrating working here because it leaves a lot to be desired in the way of structure, consistency, compensation, and overall job expectations. If you can work with a positive attitude yet maintain a “not giving a ****” attitude, you’ll probably do okay. Call center agents get the short end of the stick from every direction, from incentives to participating in company events. Call center agents are tolerated, not celebrated or acknowledged. 

On the flip side, a lot of people on the business/tech side of things love it. Probably because they’re not treated like incompetent children.

Flexible company with great work/life balance and a hybrid work schedule.  Leadership of the Customer Service department changed in 2022 and has made numerous improvements to the culture in the department.

Customer Service Agents receive an extensive, paid 3-week training program which was revamped in 2023. 

Agents also receive a 6 month review with a pay increase. All AmpliFI rewards great results with a monthly performance bonus for our Agents. We also provide a full benefits package. ampliFI promotes from within. In 2023 we promoted 20% of our Agents to Team Lead and Supervisor roles within the department, or to higher level positions in other departments. A customer customer service professional can build a great career here.

Customer service is often excluded from company events- except the end of the year event. We'd receive so many calls that the system crashes a lot of the times. The break/lunch schedules are mediocre. There is a lot of opportunities for overtime, but for the simple fact that they are understaffed with 60+ calls sitting in queue. 

Overall the business itself and the work itself is pretty easy however when it comes to understanding life situations that may take place they choose not to listen or understand no matter how well your skills have improved the company they also decided to open up hybrid hours and people continue to get sick I believe one employee actually passed away from covid from being there

They have no empathy or understanding for personal life situations. Doesn't matter how good you are at what you do, they will try to turn things around on you to make you question yourself and reliablity. Then fire you without a warning. Don't work here.. gross.

I worked with a great team of COBOL programmers.  Skill level was high and individuals were easy to work with.  Environment team made environment changes frequently without notifying the development staff which often resulted in down time.

have liked the kob ever since instartwd and would recommend this to anyone looking for a remote job. the inly thing i would say is to have some patience with the members since sometimes they can be a little adamant 

Let go in training without explanation training is 3 weeks without any set structure you go through the portals to learn and do testing and then you’re working by taking orders and shadowing workers 

The ampliFI job culture is very supportive and company really cares for their employees. Have learned a lot during my time here. There has been flexibility working from home.  

team environment, hours vary based on program launches.   multiple silos work fairly well together. Raises are not based upon annual performance reviews.
