When i first started this company I was VERY HAPPY. They pay the highest in the area you can make anywhere from $10- $15 they claim the lowest i ever made per hour was 12.50 and the highest was 14.00. YOU WILL NEVER GET A RAISE. They claim pay rate is based on insurance not the amount of work you do, (RIP OFF ARTISTS) When i first started this job you could practically work as much Overtime as you wanted which was perfect for me because I love to make money but they fired there old coordinators and hired new ones who basically have no clue what they are doing. Expect to be called REPEATEDLY about the same issues then get snarky comments when you get annoyed. The manager is nice but she does not like to get her hands dirty...and to me they need a stronger manager who will confront these aides because if you have regular staff and things are only getting stolen on the weekends it seems to me it would be easy to find out who it is but NOPE thats too much work for a place like this. Expect to work besides LAZY NASTY AIDES WHO DONT CLEAN UP BUT COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING and because they been there YEARS  they are believed. Expect to work besides a lot of thieves who STEAL FROM THE CLIENT AND WHEN YOU REPORT NOTHING IS DONE! They do not give a crapabout clients who are not strongly advocated for I work for one and this poor lady is completely neglected they steal her money, her perfume, do not properly hydrate or feed her, truly it is horrible and if she was my kin I would fire this agency immediately. The ONLY reason i havent left this pathetic agency is because I like my client but its about to be that time...I strongly urged her family to remove her from this agency and seek somewhere more supervised for her...its just terrible what these people are allowed to get away with. 

AVOID AVOID AVOID UNLESS YOUR DESPERATE FOR MONEY THEY DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO BUT IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE AVOID THIS PLACE IT WILL MAKE YOU HATE HEALTHCARE.

H.H.A. work is all hands on mainly so when you apply do not get stressed out over the lengthy multiple choice exam. That exam needs to be reviewed there are questions on that pre test totally out of the scope of practice for H.H.A. As long as you have valid certificate you will be hired. 
Cases are ok but no overtime scheduled on a regular basis  Unless it is for the companies benefit and they really have nobody to cover the case.
Normal home care agency -nothing really special over here - the offices secretary/ coodinator/ supervisors get their lunch time and a couple of vacation/ personal days and im not including the Nurses here. ( some dont even know how to answer a phone in an office setting the proper way )
H.H.A. only get the mandated sick hours from the labor laws. 
If one dosent mind to go to work everyday helping somebody H.H.A. is a good job and Anytime is ok overall

Whenever I enter into the residents home I greet with a hello. And I assist them to whatever needs to be done first such as bathing cooking given meds first priority first. Next, I learned that each individual is different and needs to treated with care and understanding for example if one is always upset the worker should try to understand by talking or calming him or her with positive words and asking why is the matter?  Some residents like to go to their church events I make sure they were being acknowledge to meeting their standards.. The hardest part of the job is when their was no more hours to work. I worked 8 hours a week. And I didn't have much time to spend with my residents. The most important part of the job is when the resident smile and I know I am doing something right.

I loved the family that I worked for through the company, but the company itself was and is terrible. The staff (at least at the Albany location) are highly disrespectful (aside from a small handful of kind-hearted people) and every time I have visited or called the office, I have been spoken down to and undervalued. Also, if you don't submit your time slip within 30 days of completing the work, you WILL NOT be paid. I understand rules are rules, but they should have NO right to withhold a paycheck, regardless of the circumstances. It took me FOUR MONTHS after I submitted my time slips to be paid the $800 that they owed me.
DO NOT WORK HERE, AND DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY TO FIND CARE FOR YOURSELF OR A LOVED ONE.

this was a very easy job once you learned your routine. I worked at the office where they did the payroll. The supervisor was very knowledgeable about her job. She's been there for over 30 years. The environment was very easy and friendly. This family worked together to accomplished the job. Everyone worked as a team. That was what I really liked, that everyone work together to finish the job. If there was a mistake it was fix ASAP. 
The boss was always smiling, and friendly, always happy, as well as his father. This is my opinion about the main office where I worked for almost three years.

fending for clients needs, linking them to donors or well-wishers to help them with material and financial needs.I learnt how to collaborate with various stakeholders and tabulating a days work in a file and  effective communications  skills.More so, i learnt to be punctuality at work and to be empathetic.failing to help a client when they need it due to lack of accommodation.the most helping others when you are given an opportunity.

My typical work day starts in a busy office working with about twelve others employees. We run all our Verification Reports to verify payments for all your Clients and Payers, by checking all Time Slips and Activities Sheets. I enter invoices in our system for payment processing to pay employees by receiving and verify expense reports, advancing and preparing checks, and also by preparing a daily bank deposits. I get along with all my co-workers. We all work together, making the office a good environment to work in. The hardest part of my job is making sure all our clients and our employees are satisfied. The most enjoyable part of my job is satisfying costumers.

However everyone is reminded by upper management that this is in at Will job…..Meaning you can be let go at any time for no reason at all….. Office is constantly under pressure about the hours it’s all about productivity; If upper management is in a bad mood on Friday they will call you and tell you to call clients that have unpaid bills and threaten them that they will not have services

Everyday is different a new day brings new people to see. its always a joy going to see my customers. I mastered tasks, i completed the jobs that were dealt to me and i haven't had any issues since i started. Management is on top of everything, very helpful when needed and listens when there's questions or complaints. The environment is very open and healthy. The emotional part is seeing my patients in pain and suffering. I love seeing the smile on my patients faces when i walk in to sit with them.
