When I first started, the company was still in start-up mode, but then grew exponentially fast. The company seems to be focused mainly on growing locations rather than growing and cementing any type of policy and united work culture. Work politics, secrecy, and favoritism abound. Firstly, they tout their 4.5 day work schedule with most of the staff working a half day on Friday, but what they don't tell you is that there is no definitive lunch break. If you are up from your desk for any semblance of a break and seen by management, you are looked at with extreme suspicion and then close tabs are kept on you. So the stressful and overworked time leading up to your Friday half-day is hardly worth it. They use their core values against their employees. The main one being "Share Responsibility". I can only speak for the culture at the central location, which is their headquarters. But the administrative teams are always getting unloaded on. And when any type of concern about workload is brought up, upper-management shrugs and says, "Well, you're just sharing responsibility." They seem to also use this as an excuse to not fairly compensate employees. Aspire seems to have no interest in fostering a positive work culture within the company, so it can be very dog-eat-dog a lot of the time. Everyone seems to always be whispering about in corners because transparency and clear communication are not fostered by upper-management. So everyone feels like they cannot speak freely about even the most trivial of work related topics due to concern of disciplinary action. But gossip is rampant here, and everyone knows everything going on despite this. Furthermore, top-management seems to be exempt from any type of accountability. Work-life balance is non-existent and turnover is very high.  Everyone is overworked and no one seems to care. My advice: Aspire has the potential to be a great company, just please listen to your employees when they come to you with legitimate concerns.

Focus is on practices and policies that bring in the most money, not that do what's best for the patient. Owners make decisions based on bottom line, and without any effort to understand situational factors that may greatly impact outcomes, such as differences in state-to-state Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans, much less differences in patient populations. Bottom line is protected with strategies like stretching management across multiple states, packing provider schedules, understaffing, prioritizing new patient visits over existing patients, reusing and repairing outdated equipment, changing the patient portal 3 times in two years and harping on offices to use less paper and ink while using an EHR without cloud connectivity so we are literally manually faxing and scanning, and providers actually have to spend time managing quadruplicate scans or searching under every chart heading to find out how somebody in another state thought outside labs should be categorized. The owners built this up from an individual clinic and it seems they would rather stick with what they are comfortable with and focus on short-term profit than consider that what worked for a clinic with everyone on site in Texas in the year 2000 might not work across multiple states with no control at the local level in the 2020s. Tip: EHRs nowadays can recognize, categorize, fax, and upload documents faster and more often correctly than poorly trained people, and have built-in portal and messaging that allows easy contact with patients, allows patients to upload pics straight into the chart (provider pics straight into the notes during visits, too!), and negates the need to use Gmail in secret codes with multiple people working on the same issue and no record of any of it in the patient's chart because Gmail is not an EHR.

Amount of work for the pay is not worth it by any means. Major lack of communication overall. Poor training. The benefits they are not much different than anywhere else to be honest. Mentally unstable staff and management usually does not have answers to your questions. They have policies and procedures but even those do not get followed and the "core values" HA!! The whole job will burn you out in 6 months. Once covid hit you saw their true colors at corporate office in Austin to say the least. If you want to specifically work in allergy there are other options in most cities and states. Plan on assisting as a surgical tech without the additional pay and poor training which they fail to even mention still to this day in the job description and even during the whole interview and hire process. That's the icing on the cake and a not so wonderful surprise they don't outwardly tell you about at all until you're in. 

This was without a doubt, the MOST HORRIBLE 3 months of my life. The previous company I had worked for (as an Insurance Verification Specialist) lasted 6 years until there was a layoff in the company. 
All clinics do things somewhat differently but this one was high pressure with virtually no help (or time...) with training to do things “their way”. Three of us (Ins Ver Spec) were slammed constantly from the second that we walked in until we left for the day. Didn’t help that we did 9 hour days with virtually no lunch & forget trying to take a break...they will say you were away from your desk too long. There’s much much more but hopefully this will shed enough light for the next person looking for employment at this company. 
Just a fair warning to think twice about this place unless you have nerves of steel & enjoy loud profanity (Insurance Verification/Billing Dept).

I have been employed with Texan allergy for almost a year, within 6months of employment I was promoted to a lead position and just within the past 2 months I was promoted again to the intergretion team. I've enjoyed my time here the provider I work with, management, and my coworkers are all great people at the end of the day we are all here for the same thing the only reason I can see someone not working out here is because they are not a team player. The company offers great pay great benefits you'll have management people that truly have good intentions for you. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and if your offered a position you'll be pretty lucky. This company is growing and doing some amazing things in the allergy and sinus field and it feels pretty awesome to be apart of it all!!!

Don't let all the perks and promises of advancment in this company fool you! The only way you can advance in this company is by moving to Austin. The work enviorment is so hostel, due to the fact that management plays favorites and allows their little minons to take charge of situations that a clinical manager should handle. Managment here is incredibly childish lazy & unprofessional. The hard working people are under appreciated. Furthermore, all the daily traveling on a weekly basis isn't even worth the pay. They find every single way possible not to compensate you for your milage and could care less about any personal issues you may have going on.

There are better opportunites out there please take your skills elsevwhere.

Excellent patient experience and care is the foremost goal of this company.  It is a part of everything they do. Being a part of that culture encourages you to live their values in your daily life; share responsibility, deliver a memorable experience, practice precision.  
With approximately 30 offices in Texas, and now offices in Florida and Colorado, they will always try to hire from within, advancing current employees whenever possible, not just within the same department, but to different departments within the organization, even considering relocation requests from employees.  This clinical organization is growing and expanding and offer a great opportunity for advancement for anyone wanting to put in the work and deliver excellence on a daily basis.

I have never felt so apart of a team and that my job was so very important to the company.  Very happy place to work.  Management can be a bit overdone as each department did not communicate well with each other so that things got missed, but over all they try hard and make this a great place to work. Each Employees birthday was celebrated with hand delivered warm cookies.  There were always potlucks going on to celebrate holidays and other fun days.  Several times one of the mangers would take everybodys Starbucks order and bring them to us.  Everyone was important.

Management is absolutely terrible. You’ll get scheduled at different locations without them asking if you can cover. Monthly meetings are just impersonal, company wide chastisement. You will rarely (if ever) receive positive feedback, only told what you’ve been doing wrong. HR is a joke. Morale is awful. The company expanded too fast and isn’t making enough money, so they take that out of the lower level employees. All clinics are understaffed and overwhelmed, yet you will get in trouble if you have any overtime at all. I STRONGLY encourage you to look elsewhere.

There are many things I enjoy about working here, but mainly it's the people I work with. Everyone really comes together to help each other, no matter what your role or title is. 

It can be hard being on the phone all day with patients, but the team is awesome, managers are always doing little things like treating us to snacks and lunches just because, and the best part is that we get to work half-day Fridays all year round. 

Another thing I appreciate is the company is very goal focused, so it's easy to tell where you stand and are not guessing about how you're doing in your job. The company also offers a bonus program based on goal performance.
