Assistance Home Care has offered me not only an opportunity to learn more about the Home Care field and what it has to offer, but they have given me opportunity to work within and to work with many different roles/positions within their company. I have spent a majority of my time working primarily with the Care Coordination team, and I love having the ability to be at the forefront and being the middle man in providing care to our clients. To me something that is rewarding is, at the same time you get to give one of your caregivers a job opportunity, you are also able to know that you are helping someone, regardless of what we send caregivers into homes for, we know at the end of the day it's for our caregivers to go out and provide the best care each and every day. And I was blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of the team that was and is able to make it all happen. Lastly, I would just like to add how helpful the whole team is regarding any sort of problem or question. Anything that you will run into, the team over at Assistance Home Care not only have the answers to your questions, but they are able to accommodate to any specific need or request that someone might have, and its simply because they are here to help (and help can come in many forms) in any way that would benefit you.

This is a awesome caring company to work for I love how they care. They going make you feel welcome, loved, special, they going make you feel thankful and even more for the job you do. Most of all they going make you feel like family. This company have open doors like no other and you can move up and ahead in your career they will help you get to where you’re going. They have fast growth within the comapny. The training classes are very helpful the Training house was a very helpful process. I plan on been with this comapny as long as God allow me I don’t plan on going to no other comapny nor switching companies I’m learning how to be patient and wait on the many other doors that God preparing me to walk in. When starting this comapny the owner asked where do you see yourself in within this comapny. I replied,” working in the office but.” He said,”No but if that what you want you can get it if you stay consistent and they also willing to help with anything you need help improving.” This company make me feel at home I enjoy caring for the many families that this company and God place me with I go in there not as a job but because I enjoyed been made to make the clients feel comfortable and treat them as if they my family because Family not about the blood it can be about the love and joy. I have truly enjoyed working for this company. A typical day involves assisting clients with activities of daily living, providing companionship, and helping them maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes. Through this role, I have learned valuable skills in caregiving, communication, patience, and adaptability.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There was not!!! They was wanting you to sign papers about getting lower pay. Paycheck were never adjusted... Many times you never made any overtime when you work 60 hours in a week... Would not recommend it to anybody to work there

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not getting paid right ! You work a bunch of hours but yet you don't get time and a half.. the girls that worked in the office were very nice... But of course they had to manipulate you to sign these papers it was really sad lot of people got back pay because they weren't paid right

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Taken care of elderly people and invalids... Can be very trying at times due to the fact that you are going into their place and trying to take care of them under your boss's real and the people that you take care of rules

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Between 8 and 10 hours! Anything from cleaning up urine feces vomit changing their depends doing their laundry sometimes getting hit sometimes being cussed out senior citizens can be tough sometimes

Have an great support group and a fair chance for advancement. Its a great chance to meet and help people Stay in their homes and with their family. I learned how to take care of types of care with the care videos that Assistant Home Care Provides. The most important part of our jobs is to exceed or clients expectations. My opinion is that there is no part of my job that seems hard, except losing a client. I am really excited  to advance in my job and learn more about Assistant Home Care. The workplace is always trying to make us comfortable and happy in what we present to our clients. They always give us the training we need to exceed our clients expectations. If I or my family and my friends ever need home care would certainly contact Assistant Home Care for the help and care that I need. I also would tell my friends and family if they need any help with their family or friends with Home Care they need to call Assistant Home Care they are the number one home care company .

A typical day at work with AHC is never the same, as caring for others changes day to day, but AHC really gives their best effort to keep Care Pro’s on a consistent schedule, providing consistent income while also managing a healthy work-life balance. AHC offers so many opportunities for training, teaching, and ongoing education and even provides opportunities to become Dementia Specialist and a bonus towards a CNA program. The culture is unmatched, especially in a field that can often be sad or heavy & stressful. The team at AHC gives their 110% to have a caregiver-focused work model, which yields nothing but great results in the care the clients receive. Management and other team members are reachable 24/7, and you will never be left without support from someone on the team when needed. I would recommend AHC 100 times over again to anyone wanting to feel valued, be paid for their hard work, offered room for education and growth, and being appreciated for all you do. 

Let me just start by saying I’ve had a lot of different jobs and work for a lot of different companies. But I have never felt more welcome, cared about appreciated, valued anywhere else, but with assistance homecare even from the interview, I actually feel like I belong. Everyone there is so nice they are empathetic they will go over and beyond for people. Flexible hours you can further your education if you need help at a clients house they will send someone out to assist you. also, one day I had to leave work early and I was at a clients house. They had someone come and relieve me and then I had to drop something off at the office and the people there welcome to my son as well like he was part of the team like it was amazing. I found my forever home I found my purpose I found where I belong a lot of growth in the company. they healthy find clients that match with you, a that’s close to your house. The hours are good. The training is good as well. They also have a training site at the building. Pay is weekly too.


I have absolutely loved every moment that I have spent with this amazing company. I have never been with a more approachable, warm, and inclusive team. I come in everyday knowing that my clients are loved by their team, and that the team is loved and supported by the office staff. I can always be confident that if anything comes up, and I need to take the day off, or call in, I am understood, supported, and given the time I need to deal with my personal matters. I never feel judged, or pressured to come in when I know that I have other determinants effecting my day. There have been times where I have requested some additional hours, and the office staff is always willing to find me a fill-in shift, and meet me half way. If I could help it, I hope to stay with this amazing company for as long as possible. They truly care about their client's, their caregivers, and all the supporting staff who work here. A company that not only shows they care with their words, but with their actions.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
7 am til 7 pm or until I’m release of my daily duties which as follows: prepare breakfast, help client get dressed for the day, give morning meds, spend quality time observing patient, clean kitchen, make beds, do laundry, prepare lunch, give meds if need, assist nurse with care for patient if need, do other chores as needed, entertain client as needed continue house work such as clean rooms, dust, mop and last prepare dinner, give meds notate activity for the day, do errands if needed and assist with anything else until relief person arrives
