For the most part, coworkers are nice and want to help you succeed. Management is accessible and most work on site. There are lots of free luncheons to appreciate staff and from sales company reps which is a plus. PTO starts at 120 hours a year which can be used for sick or vacation along with holidays paid separately. I feel supported in my role and like my work makes a difference in patients lives. 

I really enjoy working at this office.  If there are ever any issues, my manager is always quick to make sure things get figured out.  Very flexible when unexpected things arise. 

New management doesn’t care about employees, it’s all about who you know. Upper administration doesn’t do their jobs, HR is terrible, you have to repeatedly call and email to get through. The reward for working hard and doing well at your job is more work. They’re money hungry and overwork and underpay their staff. The managers poke at you for the smallest of things. They’re not focused on the right things, they’re focused on making as much money at the expense of their employees. Employee turnover is out of this world. Do not recommend. 

I felt this company has the potential to be really great but, I have came to the understanding that they really do not care about their employees. They don't interview for promotions (not really promotion, they just change job title), only just give positions to people that Needs completely different leadership. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Zero support/training or guidance. Higher ups are stuck up and care only about the bottom line not patients or employees. Run

Lack of staff, low pay, terrible managers, high turnover

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stressful and catty. Cliques in every office. Daily problems between staff

I have worked at Associates for Women's Medicine for over 20 years.    I feel this is a great company to work for.   Our patients are well cared for with Top Notch Medical Care Provided!  I think my longevity with the company and the fact that I am also a patient with the company speaks volumes.   We have had a number of  employees leave for  another job but they ultimately returned to AWM for employment,  realizing how good it is here to work.

Worst is the aditudes of the front staff

Very gruff and not professional 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy and constantly trying to catch up

I loved the management team here, some of the doctors were good to work with, but you have to do a lot for only a little bit of money, they give you a hard time if you call in or when you want to take time off. For the money they pay you and the work you have to do, it’s not worth it.

Management is very low quality. HR tells everyone your personal business. New billing manager is a joke. You never get a raise. Most doctors are ok,.front desk in all offices, are unprofessional and very rude.high turnaround in all departments. I would skip this company if I were you.

Job expectations were very high for the amount of people on staff. The office manager is the daughter of one of the physician's and was shown a lot of favoritism despite her lack of expertise in running and office. A clinical position for her would have been a better fit
