Lots of talk about company culture and very little action backing it up. Incredibly lacking in diversity. Little room for advancement. Poor response to the COVID pandemic. Even worse response to the return to work post covid with no flexibility for working from home. 

The sky is the limit at BHSI.  There is so much opportunity to grow, not only this company, but also your career. It is still very much a start-up, void of a lot of bureaucracy or red tape balanced with the financial stability of being a part of Berkshire Hathaway.  Team is paramount at BHSI and you can feel the strong culture of this company when you walk in the door.    The work is challenging - we are constantly coming up with ways to create  solutions for problems we have never solved in the past.  But that is also what is most exciting.  There is something new to learn every day, with no end in sight!

Management shows a lot of favoritism, unprofessional, and the environment is unwelcoming. They demad you help out in other departments and manager s will get upset if you are behind in you work.  The place is full with choas, people come to work unhappy. Also don't discuss your personal business to your manager, they will tell everyone what is going on in your life. It's all about who you know and not what you know.  Low pay and dreadful environment

Flexibility. humane atmosphere and good training.

None, it is a stress-free environment.

It is stress-free and friendly.

A very comfortable way to spend the day.

A lot of people are able to move up quickly within the company, however they are not flexible about working from home. Great employees and management has been very good as well. They can work a bit more on diversity (most of the higher ups are the same demographic) and being more open to changing with the times.

Great management and a lot of work with complex business. Need a lot of team members on various area and need additional AI tools to deliver the complex tasks world-wide.

My time at berkshire was very productive.  The people were fun to work with and time went by quickly if you looked for work to do.  Management was fairly relaxed and if you were good to your supervisor he or she would return the favor.

Company tries to live up to its stated values beginning with respect.  Work is often interesting.  Growing rapidly.  Had strong growth even while people worked from home during Covid.  Starting to hire less experienced people so good place to start a career (or change careers).  

BHSI is an incredible place to work - it is such a collaborative work environment that is always focused on advancing our team and our platform. You feel the culture of this place the minute you walk in the door - people act with integrity, teammates are valued, hard work pays off.

I really enjoyed the culture they had there. They lived behind the phrase "character and capabilities", which stressed that having the skills to do the job was not enough, but rather being a team player was.
