Good orientation for new nurses . Teaching computer skills in a classroom setting. Building is nice and clean with 12 foot ceilings Bright and lively looking compared to other rehabs.Wooden floors  and tile ,not much carpet. which is a plus.The management works hard to follow the guidelines  set forth by the State and Federal government.The staff fusses a bit but pretty much help each other out.English is not the number one language among the CNA's so brush up on your French.Hardest part about the job is being glued to the computer when the patient needs your attention. Management comes up with new ideas that gives the nurses more paper work and computer work to do on top of your assignment causing you to be late getting out on time. Payday is the most enjoyable part of the job and the music entertainment that flows thur the building .I learned that you can work your tail off and on any given day be called in the office and written up on something you didnt even do.

I was in this company for 2 months and from the first day I saw how they do not provide you with the tools to do the job. Due to their retention issues they constantly use agency for staff and that leads to no-shows, call outs, and people with unprofessional attitudes. There were plenty of times that I was either alone on the floor or im left with work that was supposed to be done on the previous shift. At least once a week. 
 
Management doesn't help on the floor at all. Even if you short staffed or overwhelmed. You will not get help. 
The culture of the facility is very unprofessional. Lots of aggressive talk. Yelling by the staff and management. Constant arguments with patients who are rightfully upset over the lack of services. 
This is one of the worst jobs I've ever had. I saw more yelling and cursing in 2 months than my whole 10year career. There's plenty of places to work. Don't go here. 

Treatment of primarily geriatric population who had recently been in an acute care setting in result of fall, CVA, peripheral neuropathy, cardiac related issue, dementia, vertebral/pelvic/clavicular/extremity fracture, muscle weakness, shoulder injuries, or general functional decline. 
Responsibilities included (following the POC) teaching patient to function at highest level of independence through safety implementation and  follow though/instruction on strengthening program regiment. Training was also provided to care takers for exercise program follow-through, and technical safety training with transfer training (as it applies with ADLs) and back protection techniques.

Productive fast paced work place. Corporate office and Administration in the building do not agree on policy and procedure. They are all your bosses, upper management but if you listen to one on the inside you ultimately going against Corporate and vise versa. I love the position. Just the wrong place to be. All the departments at the facility are the same way. All employees feel the same way.

I am on my 3rd Admissions Director in 14 months of being there. They can not keep help and I have held on as long as I can. I am the longest who worked in my position. I have given my all which I will do at any work place.

Stable job.Options for overtime.Pleasant work place.Skilled facility.

Facility very understaffed.No management.

Mixed culture,pleasant environment.Appreciated by staff.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Working nights.From patient care to wounds,iv's,lab work,trach care,G-tubes,medpass,documentation,skin check etc.

Boulevard was a state facility therefore things needed were more of a challenge to obtain and hourly rates were lower making it difficult to find the right staff willing to go the extra mile when needed. It took a lot to keep staff motivated but I was always involved and assisted daily in the operations of tasks so they would see this and want to give me their best.

This is the most horrible company I have ever worked for the management turns over so much as well as the employees it's hard to get a team of management going the salaries are as low as they get you spend most of your time and meetings are getting your work done is difficult you hardly have time to pay attention to the residence most of the upper management talk to the staff like they are they are beneath them it's difficult to get good people to work for this company

This is a great company to work for. The management team are very supportive. They create a positive work environment that encourages personal and professional growth. They make you feel appreciated and they recognize your achievements. This company values you and welcomes feedback, as a team we are able to make a difference each day with the care that is provided to the residents. Working here has truly been rewarding and a delight.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
lack of staff support, and knowledge with regard to population.

The work was genial , I love the job, we had a great team out of there, respect people, the hardest part when we serve the food I got a little stress you know we have to serve the food early sometimes I got the early tray for dialysis people, I really leaned a lot at boulevard how to work for elders it s a good experience for me.
