In my experience, the organization’s clinical infrastructure did not keep pace with its rate of growth. Training and supervision were inconsistent, and there was a lack of standardization in how core clinical skills were modeled and supported across teams.
This resulted in inconsistent treatment quality across teams, with variability depending on the level of supervision and support available. Expectations for staff were not always aligned with the level of training or guidance provided.
Additionally, there appeared to be gaps in clinical oversight and leadership support needed to maintain consistency in service delivery. At times, decision-making and supervision structures did not reflect the level of experience typically required to support clinicians effectively in a growing organization.
While the company continues to expand, the underlying clinical systems (including training consistency, supervision quality, and leadership support)  do not appear to be sufficiently developed to sustain that growth at a high standard.

Advice for Management:
Establish consistent, standardized clinical training and supervision systems before continuing to scale, and ensure staff are adequately prepared and supported to meet clinical expectations.


What is the best part of working at the company?
The autonomy provided by leadership is something I have never experienced at another ABA company. This autonomy allows us to utilize a truly play-based approach and really meet kids where they're at.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Meeting deadlines and the typical client related tasks can be stressful, however, there is a lot of support available to complete those tasks. The main job task and concern for BCBAs is their caseloads, no administrative tasks required.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
At our clinic, we use a play-based, developmental, naturalistic approach. Our environment is fun and exciting. We also do a lot of staff activities and make sure our RBTs are well taken care of. Company leadership is supportive and available. They want to see us succeed and will give us the tools to do so.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Because we use a play-based approach, children are free to explore the environment. We take advantage of naturally occurring opportunities to teach a variety of meaningful and functional skills. We engage in a lot of sensory, art, and play activities. And lots of toys!

What is the best part of working at the company?
Pros: autonomy in programming, play based and naturalistic approach in our location, really no administrative tasks - focus is only on your caseload (super important), feel incredibly supported by my clinic director, flexible and realistic scheduling for a good work/life balance

Typical client related things (collaboration with families, changes in behaviors, etc)

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This clinic has become really like a family - everyone seems to get along and teamwork works great for us. Leadership continues to help us find more ways to be successful and seems to always be open for input. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As a BCBA here I am able to focus my days on my caseload (supervision, assessments, parent meetings, etc). I work occasional direct sessions (which I enjoy for the 1 on 1 time) but do not do this daily. Outside of my caseload, I don't have any additional administrative duties or have to worry about scheduling.

The coworkers and the children we interact with and work with are great. 

Leadership, there’s favoritism, passive aggressiveness, no support, and condescending tones when support is asked for. The leadership either likes you or they talk behind your back to fellow coworkers. The CD is not supportive and constantly micromanaging everything. There’s a fake welcoming tone to them and they constantly do it to everyone unless they like you. When you are uncertain about rapport with a kid or maybe even burnout they will not understand and instead offer more training when that is not the issue. 

Inventory is constantly low, if we have one thing we do not have the other. You did not get paid for your chores, you must do them with your client. However, if you take too long to clean then you’ll more than likely be talked down too which is insanity when your chore may be the kitchen, the bathrooms, or high traffic rooms. 

It’s a great place to have support from your coworkers, but just know they will be the only support you have. They will not make you feel like a burden or uneducated if you need something and/or do not understand what to do. 

High turnover. I understand why people would want to leave this dirty, unorganized, smelly clinic with their lazy bcbas. No support system with programs that doesn’t make sense. No clock n system, you are only paid for billable hours and they expect you to come into the clinic 15 mins earlier without pay and stay extra minutes afterwards because parents pick up late. No one is there to give you restroom break you will be calling mutiple times.   Every parent I’ve seen so far that took a tour of this clinic to see if they would want to enroll their child never came back. Don’t let the pay fool you, it’s not worth the stress. Also do not let the pictures online fool you either, it looks nothing like them in reality 

Worse place I have ever worked, it was so toxic. I got treated so badley by almost everyone. I caught my manager laughing at my struggles. I'm honestly confused I do not know anyone there personally I was just trying to make a difference in kids lives. No one there was kind, and would come in so upset and mad at the world. Even when I tried to explain my issues I recieved retaliation from the higher up. They were constantly losing people and it was not because of the kids. Even till the end of my 2 weeks I was met with hostility from people I don't even know. This was the last place I expected this kind of treatment. 

A typical work day consists of receiving clients from parents. Some may had daily goals like putting their own belongings away. Some work on potty training after. All work on target goals from toleration, listeners response, motor imitations, feeding, but most behavioral. Management can help assist at times but u found out they are often to busy to help. Help from teamwork is the way we help each other. The hardest part of the job would be learning to help manage the high behavioral kids especially the one who agrees. Also scheduling and being underpaid. The most enjoyable part of the job is watching the kids progress with their targets. 

Busy and sometimes chaotic. Must be able to think on your feet, learn new techniques and programs quickly and implement them correctly. Management is awesome, staff is caring and fun. Employees are treated great, staff is provided with catering often and celebrated for their hard work. It’s amazing to watch the progress of the clients daily. Everyone is willing to help and pitch in including management.

The best part were the clients and the rapport I got to build with the families. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management appeared to prioritize billing and productivity metrics over staff support and clinical quality. This contributed to a high-stress environment and frequent turnover. There was a significant lack of structured training, which made it difficult for staff to feel confident in their roles or provide consistent quality care.

If you are looking to grow and learn this is not the job for you. They obsess over dress code and nails and not the quality of the care being given to the kids. There are more rules than any Aba company I have ever worked with. Such as kids can’t play with sensory items such as play doh and water because they are worried about carpet . They don’t do anything fun for the kids art projects community events nothing. There aren’t any colorful pictures on walls hardly any visuals for the clients. They force kids to go in therapy rooms that aren’t reinforcing.
