Worked here for over 3 years and have seen many projects and other companies Management having them as clients, and have worked with other individuals who have worked at other staffing/consulting firm, and they all say the same thing. The people and the culture in the company make it special. 

Individuals working in a contracting basis may have variable experience depending on our clients, so take those with a grain of salt. There are often management structured through the client that are not in our control, however, we do our absolute best to communicate expectations transparently and fully. We pride ourselves on transparency and experience, and I have seen that from every individual I have worked with, and every leader in the company I have spoken with. 

This firm cares about it's people, which is why they are the only staffing firm to have not internal layoffs, pay cuts, commission/bonus changes, or additional precautionary measures that affect their workforce. It is truly remarkable how much they invest in their people despite the 18 month long Pandemic. 

I opted to leave this dreadful environment as a result of the poorly mismanaged set of events from its inception. The individual client was responsible for advocating, and facilitating in the medical fight against the current pandemic and nothing was done to shed any light on the issue to our callers. We were instructed to robotically read scripts word for word verbatim, and penalized for offering any rational explanation for the possibility of result delays or general processing procedures. You were further targeted for asserting yourself as I provided proof of no prior write up, when their supervisor attempted a final write up for not reading verbatim from a poorly transcribed and grammatically butchered updated script. From the recruiter, all the way down to the assigned manager of whatever project, these people are the worst representation of both employee, and consumer interest. May they perish in their own ineptitude amidst cancel culture. 

I've never experienced such poor management in my life!

I feel like I was a child working here. They micromanage us to the point where it's extremely frustrating but almost funny at the same time. On the flip side, when I actually *did* make a mistake, I was written up rather than coached. Another thing I've never experienced at a company that knows how to treat people.

They clearly don't value their employees because they do not treat us like adult human beings. And that lack of respect shows everywhere.

Another big problem: In my first week of work, my team was told not to submit all our hours because it went over overtime. When I asked for clarification on this, I was told from a snarky manager that I could submit my full hours, but it would be rejected. It seems like they didn't even understand that this is a serious violation of labor law. 

That's not a good sign! But it's a great indication of the level of professionalism and quality you'll deal with when you work for Calculated Hire

I have worked here for one year now and the personal and professional growth that I have experienced in this short amount of time is nothing short of amazing! Let me start this off by saying, I am 100% a much more polished and instinctive sales person than I was going into the role and making more $ than I ever thought I could at this age.

While those two things are at the base roots what everyone is looking for in a job right out of school, the amount of importance our company puts on having the most transparent, supportive, and family oriented culture is truly the cherry on top. 

The fact that these are major factors with our company leads us to reflect all these aspects into the ways we support our contractors and clients and everyone we interact with in the talent acquisition space.

I feel like I'm growing every day, the compensation is what I need for my personal goals, and I'm doing good honest work that is ultimately helping people.

10/10 would do it again.

They put me on one of the best jobs I have ever had and with one of the greatest teams I've ever had. A lot of my friends were moved up into better rolls very quickly I really loved the position I helping the community and helping the elderly I really didn't stop doing that so I never asked or pushed for a promotion. The one thing I will say is when working for a staffing agency that does not tempt to hire availability it is very important to save for if that day the contract is canceled unexpectedly. Calls started coming in less and less and people were starting to lose their positions and that is very sad another thing I would like to say is do your very best because if that happens they notice and they want to keep the best around as much as possible so going that extra mile with them is for sure appreciated.    

Deceptive job posting, the job posts claim insurance agent or customer service, but when you get in the job they ease you into the real reason you are there, sales, nothing matters at all except how many sales you make, your job is always at risk if you don’t push enough sales , training is very very skimpy on daily job function due to them being scared you’ll run off and quit, they just want you on those phone with or without training, you can tell the managers you need more training and they assure you that you do not need more, pay is good but the job is not worth it, they will also fire you if their equipment fails and you have to pay for shipping 

Calculated Hire is a hidden gem that I am glad I found coming out of college. The amount of professional and personal growth I've had in my short time here always amazes me. Calculated Hire gives you the ability to create your own career path, express your likes & dislikes freely without judgement, and provides you with an unlimited amount of support.

At the end of the day you get what you put into this role. There are a lot of things out of your control in this industry, but if you trust your leadership and the process put in place you will find success.


I have now been with the company 7 years in total and cannot say enough good things. This company truly provides an amazing opportunity to grow not only as a professional, but also as a person. Everyone starts at the same level and is given the same opportunities. Your willingness to work hard, ask questions, and be a part of a great culture will provide you with more opportunities than many could imagine.
