Working at callsource was an ok experience when it came to speaking with the customers. As long as your customer service is on point and you truly care about the person on the other end its very rare you'll get someone yelling at you. You'll have great conversations with some as well which i enjoyed. Call volumes are pretty high here and they're pretty strict with all of their numbers, which can be stressful. There's always going to be new updates and changes every shift and throughout your shift. If these changes are not applied after mentioning it there's going to be some level of a threat from upper management so read those updates. You're not going to get benefits right away as they hire on part time employees to save money on that cost. Full time can be acquired if offered to you or you ask. (May take forever for the shift but you'd get it.) There really isn't a whole lot of advancement opportunities like mentioned in my interview so don't fall for that. Even if you applied, was accepted, or went out of your way to create a working process. You'll most likely get it stolen and get a thank you from the owner for the work you put into it. Keep your ideas to yourself, only go to the owner pogo with them. I do not recommend if you have kids,puppies or a dog that barks alot because most dealers do not want the agents telling customers we are work from home and upper management sees this as an in person job so they expect you to find someone to watch your child while you're making $85 a day with them... can't even afford an oil change with that. If you do decide to move forward with employment here request to work on hillarys team she's an amazing manager, great leader, and she's just an amazing person all around. She makes it a point to get to know all of her agents and truly cares to help them succeed in their position. The environment she created for her team is very refreshing and fun the team chat wasn't just for updates and breaks it was a fun chat with memes, conversations, you name it. Overall this department seems its still in its startup mode its a lot of chaos everyday between the 80+ dealerships you're working with, the number of updates you're getting throughout the day, technical difficulties (that you have to clock out for to fix since it's your own equipment you're fixing), the high volume of calls, and lack of support from management.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
CS is known for layoffs. While I was working there the company went through 3 rounds of layoffs. They are constantly hiring because they fire higher paid employees and replace them with lower paid workers. Beware if you get a raise, it probably means you’re next on the chopping block. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Laid back, not stressful except for the frequent layoffs.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Arrive, work while having conversations with co-workers. The cubicles give you close proximity to everyone.

Most of the people at CallSource work hard and want to the company to succeed. 

The company is very top heavy with a too many directors and too many VP's, Some VP's would be managers at some respectable organizations. The middle management are managers nor leaders. 

A lot of internal politics for a company of this size.  The company has way too many directors and some of directors do not have any direct reports. 

The company needs to pay their people accordingly and hire some real talents for key positions.

A typical day at Callsource as an Account Manager consisted of answering emails, creating reports and making calls to existing clients.

I learned time management and how to work with many people with different personalities. Management was very helpful and encouraged me to pursue all paths within the company.

The hardest part of the job was managing a large amount of high maintenance accounts. With that said, Callsource believes in training their employees. The amount of training on new innovative business solutions was my favorite part of the job.

A typical day at work was reviewing and following up on emails and customer projects and communicating with internal departments and sales reps. I learned email management as well as time management along with increased knowledge of Excel and Outlook. I had really likable co-workers and enjoyed working with them. The toughest part of the job was contacting clients. The most enjoyable part of the job was completing projects to the clients satisfaction.

Upper management is poisoned with disinterest (ownership), self-interest (C-Level), and pandering (V-level).

The company hit a glass ceiling and sells "MVP" to the company, but doesn't buy into "MVP" themselves.

The product/solution offering has potential, but comes with a corroded foundation which will give with enough pressure.

There are 3 key people that need to be removed from "leadership positions", and replaced, before the company's revenues have a chance to hockey stick.

This place isnt a place to go to if you're looking to advance in any position. Many people work there for years and are only able to move laterally and the chances of a pay raise are minimal. The most enjoyable part of the job is getting to work with different people in the company and getting to know some of the workers. The management is based on nepotism and usually only if you have family in the company are you able to be raised to the management level. The co-workers are really awesome but there is a lot of disfunction at the management level.
