As a State Manager for Campari, I had a large amount of responsibility on a daily basis.  The position required me to have contact with distributor partners to review sales growth as well as align budget expectations.  As a remote employee, our team was required to meet in person for meetings several times per year and were obligated to participate in weekly calls regarding our respective business.  Although the work culture at Campari was demanding, I found working with such talented people a benefit for my professional career.  As all jobs have challenges, it was no different for this one.  The most difficult aspect of this position was to juggle all of the existing and increasing responsibilities within a company that has very high expectations in a demanding amount of time.  All in all, a good experience.

A typical day at the Glen Grant distillery starts with being put under pressure to meet near impossible targets that have been set by management. You are given no support from the supervisor to help achieve targets. The pressure is so bad you find yourself sitting at home in the evening worrying about next days targets. You are on zero hour contracts and reminded often by your supervisor that you have no job security which adds on even more pressure.  There is a very strong us and them culture going on between permanent staff and zero hours contract staff.  The hardest part of the job is going in to start your shift and the best part is applying for other jobs to give you a glimmer of hope that you might one day escape.

Mail duties daily.
Liquor storage duties as needed.
I learned professionalism in an office setting.
The culture was casual and entertaining with marketers and public relations.
The hardest part was meeting the deadlines on  deliveries and mail.
The most enjoyable was having changes with new and improved products on portfolio.

The people you meet and work with on a day to day basis make this career path an exciting one. I learned to be my own CEO, and grow my business with expert knowledge and support behind me.

It's a good place to work but there is little advancement opportunity.  Job security is great however.  Departments don't communicate with each other leading to delays.  Work/life balance is great as are the team building activities.  Pay is at the industry standard but the benefits are better than the industry standard.

It was the first time that I work in the liquor market , and I learn the difference of these brands and also the difference between the cosmetics and perfume field and the liquor field .
I learn also there is a big difference in the sales arts between the both field . Really it was a good experience gave me a new lesson and I understand that I don’t know everything

Terrible place to work management and office workers work when they want and get free lunches say they hire within but actually really don't all management is hired outside of company. No raises and pay sucks compared to all other Distilleries.

I worked at New Mountain for almost 5 years and only left because I was getting married and relocating. It was a great company to work for, very generous in our compensation and benefits and provided a challenging but fun environment.

Campari America is a very fun company to work for. There's always events going on to balance the work out, such as happy hours, health fairs, team dinners, etc. The people are great, as well, with exception to a few, which I think would be the only wrong thing I could say about working there!
