Any smart person can dupe the senior management because they are not professional engineers.
You can sign their NDA and then resign and join their customer, Guaranteed you would not be sued because the Senior management would not like to show/discuss their own dirty linen in court.
They spend time on exercises that have no benefit.
They support work product that is not complete or correct
They have no future plan because they made a horrible mess of a major foreign customer project.
They are extremely unreliable, liars, short sighted.
They provide no job security and use intimidation tactics.

•	Over 15 years experience in ASIC and FPGA design, verification and application including embedded systems development on Xilinx / Altera FPGA boards. 
•	Skills include: Development work of wireless (wifi) SOC. Design, simulation and implementation of FPGA using Xilinx and Altera tools, Verilog, VHDL, ModelSim, Place and Route using Xilinx ISE, Used Xilinx Vivado and Altera Quartus.
•	Hands-on experience with PCIe, AMBA AHB/APB Bus, AMBA Peripherals. Graphics processor, DDR2, Interrupt Controller, DMAC, UART, Timers, watchdog timer, GPIO, audio module, Internet Processor, Audio/Video serial bus interface, NC Verilog. Worked on Digital Signal Processing related development on FPGA and MATLAB. Perl scripting, git, make etc.
•	Embedded Systems Certificate, UCSC Ext.
Course work includes design with Xilinx FPGA on Digilent board, Vivado Webpack.
SystemVerilog based design, VCS simulation.

Working for this company has been a great experience with opportunities to quickly grow, travel, and develop in different areas within engineering. While this may be the case, the company has a somewhat stressful environment. With that said, this stressful and sometimes chaotic environment has given myself and my colleagues the tools for success in any career opportunity down the road which require multi-tasking, heavy overtime hours, and constant compressed schedules and deadlines that nearly seem impossible to meet.

Horrible senior management. Project manager does not have a college degree and submits inflated lunch bills for reimbursement. Director of engineering hires favorites, sends them to China, they do a poor job, Millions of dollar contract is curtailed, No new contract. Director of Engineering was the Altran's coordinating person at the customer site Invensys, Foxboro. He was supposed to be there full-time, instead he preferred to work from home in California. Altrans customer Invensys got angry and fired him from on-site position. Similarly his presentations in front of new customers are awful despicable, he has never worked in test development and systems engineering.

Altran "farms-out" their employees (the engineers) to clients, often on-site at the clients as contractors. This gives the opportunity to work in various settings over time, which can be exciting and fun. Working from home was typically an option, but that varies with each situation. A person who can quickly climb the learning curve at a given client has the best chance of doing well. Teamwork occurs but could be better, in my experience. If you can't get matched up with a client, they have limited patience in keeping you on the "bench"... i.e. their commitment to training and building up employees is lacking. Partially this is the nature of their business.

This company does third party engineering. Their relationship with their client is not always well managed. The project I was put on was 4 months into a six month project and they still hadn't resolved what compiler they were using. 

They hand out a lot of day to day perks - fresh fruit, Panera breads, pastries on Friday, etc. Contractors are invited to all company functions and they know how to throw a party.

They are totally driven by accountants so if the work slows down they will cut you in a millisecond. They gave me 2 weeks notice but wanted me to work 50+ hour weeks until my last day.

There is a push to go back into offices regardless of your team mates and clients locations which makes little sense. Depending on your team and project, the work can be interesting or routine. There is an internal website with other opportunities worldwide, although some of the jobs are posted with a pre-selected candidate in mind and changing can be difficult. The people I met during my time there were generally open and collaborative.

Capgemini offers a collaborative and inclusive work environment where a typical day involves teamwork and diverse projects. I learned a lot about client interactions and advanced technologies, which helped me grow professionally. Management is approachable and supportive, fostering a positive workplace culture. The hardest part of the job can be meeting tight deadlines during high-pressure projects, but the most enjoyable part is the opportunity to innovate and work with talented colleagues. Overall, it’s a great place to learn and build a rewarding career.

Very high paced job and required to keep yourself open to change each day in the workflow and requirements.  

The management team was on deck and available when necessary to assist and the overall experience was a family environment working hard to strive in meeting the job's goals.  

The hardest part of my job was the long commute to work that averaged between 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours a day depending on the traffic. 

I enjoyed the fast pace environment; the day was over before I knew it.
