Management is horrible, the company is a great company but the Columbus location lacks structure.  I learned a lot, mostly on my own since I only had like 2 days training, I was told they were a close group and all the coworkers got along great, I’m still waiting for the part where everybody gets alone great. Manager never comes out of her office, very negative clinic, everybody wants to be the head and think they run the clinic, a total mess. The schedulers are over worked, they have about 5 jobs that requires extra staff, no help so definitely don’t apply for that, phones are horrible, nobody stays after they have worked upfront, you get told you’re interviewing for one position and get there and you doing a  different position.  Management lets coworkers come to work sick, no mask, nose running, sneezing, coughing, full blown covid symptoms.   If you just need a job yes apply, looking for a career? No.  If you are a tech you will be fine but any other position I’ll have to say don’t do it unless you just need a job.

CIS has been a good fit for me as I've had the opportunity to work with various healthcare companies in my career.  Some have had good/great cultures and some have not.  CIS strives to create a culture that balance the needs of our people, our patients and our investors.  While these commonly align, sometimes they do not and the management team is candid about decisions made as to why they are in the best interest of the company as a whole. When I came to work for CIS, I was in search of improved quality of life, less stress, and a career change. After working as an occupational therapist for 32 years, I was in need of a change and looking for a more positive work environment and to be recognized and appreciated for my hard work. That is exactly what I have found at CIS! My ONLY regret is that I did not find them sooner! The culture of the workplace is very positive, proactive and innovative. Management not only hears your voice, but they follow through on suggestions and employee input to make positive changes. I am a long term employee with Diagnostic Imaging Services and then Capitol Imaging Services.  This company has always been dedicated to providing quality care in an outpatient setting at an affordable cost to our patients.  It is truly a great alternative to the high cost associated with imaging at the local hospitals.   This job has also allowed the flexibly I needed over the years to be a part of my kid's activities.   That is very important to me and it has been a blessing to have worked at a place for this long that provides that.  It is a great company to work for.  


Everyday is the opportunity to learn new skills to help people. The people make the inviting environment that gives the patients a pleasant experience during a moment of time that the patients don’t feel well. Everyday accommodating patients that require their exams be performed in a quick manner. The staff is always eager and willing to help in any situation.

This company purchased our previous imaging center and now I've been with Capitol Imaging Services for almost 15 years combined! The organization takes pride in focusing on care, accountability, respect, and experience.

I have felt challenged since I have worked for Capitol Imaging Services which encourages me to grow professionally and personally.  I have been in this field for many years and continue to learn from our management team on a daily basis.  We strive to provide excellent customer service which is a lost art these days.  This is refreshing to know that a company still truly cares for their patients as well as their employees.  I get to work along side some of the best in the industry.  The PTO is great too!

Company initially seemed very patient care driven but once larger parent company took over became much more volume, profit focused. Had to complete all duties without much management support or guidance. Was nice to not be micromanaged but more encouragement, assistance would have been appreciated. Was able to learn but without much support.
