The first 7 months here were awesome. Coworkers had a lot of teamwork and my fellow CNA's along with most nurses were phenomenal. Unfortunately the management after a 7 month time period went down a lot. They do not care about their employees at all. They act as if they're concerned with us but in reality do not care one bit. They aren't willing to work with your schedule and they always have an ugly attitude when you ask for adjustments or days off. Always short staffed and will replace you with agency employees. If you're working alone on a hall they do not help with finding someone to be there with you. The communication is little to none when changes are made. I've seen way too many new people quit due to management and working alone. Only reason I stayed was because of my amazing coworkers and my lovely residents. The pay is more than what I was used to in the past but most definitely not worth the amount of work they put on you. It's so sad to see a company I was excited to work for go down so quickly. I honestly do not recommend working here.  

What is the best part of working at the company?
I really liked the leadership of the company.  Seemed like good folks.  
When I was there, I had the best DON and BOM team in the industry, in my opinion.  I hated to leave.

I had some philosophical differences with corporate approaches.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I would say it was pretty good for the most part.  People caring about people.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Controlled  Chaos.  A series of Meetings and strategic planning squeezed in between sessions of solving all the world's problems and trying to meet the unrealistic expectations of Resident families.

Nurses are lazy. Management doesn't care as long as there are bodies, I mean patients in the rooms. The facility I worked at was in horrible shape. Mold in the walls, roaches in every room, paint chips everywhere. Every patient room lacks proper air filtration in the bathrooms. Staff play friendly, but are bullies that were bullied their entire life. Patients code and the staff will literally just let them pass away, "Because it's too much paperwork" . Some patients don't even get their meds because no on cares. Just a sad situation all around. Would not recommend. 

Administrator sucks, DONS suck, lots of favoritism, overworked & very underpaid. Treat their staff like trash. Not appreciative toward staff. I wouldn’t recommend working here. 
Workers act like they’re in High school still, gossiping in their little clicks & talking about people behind their backs. All tha management is always just worried about stuffing their face in their office & when u need help, no one is to be found or they get bothered cause u ask them to help u so u can complete ur task. So unprofessional & disorganized.
I loved my residents just hated how I was treated as an employee.

I have long respected the Corporate Leadership members and am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them again.  Even through the pandemic, they ensured all of our facilities were kept up to date, even  constructing a Covid Recovery Unit for all of those affected who weren't able to return directly home from the hospital.  Ongoing education for staff, competitive pay, standard time off for holidays & PTO, and standard benefits.  

This is a SNF... so it obviously has the challenges most SNFs do. I’ve worked at multiple buildings as a therapist in central Texas. Directors are hit or miss with effective communication. No training ... like most SNFs with PRN they just give you a laptop password and you go. I was comfortable since I had been in other facilities and used the EMR but if you are a new therapist or new to the setting, don’t expect a lot of guidance. Productivity expectation around 90%.

Nice, quiet comfortable place to work very convenient  Staff is great.

None the job is not stressful. The residents here are nice and quiet.

it’s a variety of cultures and the environment is really nice very unique

very moderate pace place some days are fast pace. Some days are slow so it varies.

Great place to work it’s all about the residents at this place cuz this is there home wonderful nurse and and director and activities

When people would call in on short notice but team work is great

Wonderful even the marketing lady helps

Relaxed but structured . Quaint and very friendly

Morning meetings checking schedules and meeting dead lines . Coordinating every bodies job to fit mine

Loved the facility, staff and residents.  Was a rural community and reflected the values and charm.

Corporate had some issues in making payments to vendors and struggled at times with internal communication.  A few leaders at the top made decisions for the entire organization.  'Committees' were just one or two people.

Often felt stifled in the role and was unfairly compensated.
