As a per diem Medical Assistant for this particular office, there was no orientation to work flow, they had no office manager, just an "office coordinator" who had no control of the office so everyone thought they were the boss. The staff were constantly throwing each other under the bus, the backstabbing and lying was ridiculous. The staff spent more time on their cell phones, Google and disappearing from their work stations than getting anything accomplished. They had unqualified staff giving medical instructions to patients over the phone. No one worked as a team. The physicians did nothing about all the problems in the office. The equipment is archaic, scanners in particular. If you want to work in an office that has constant drama, no one in charge, and fear that you could be the next person thrown under the bus and run over a few times, then this is the place for you. BEWARE!!!!!

What is the best part of working at the company?
There are some great people to work with and for within the company. But there is also a lot of hostile work environment aspects that made working there unbearable. Staff are all aware of this and nothing is done to change it. I would work in the same field again in a heartbeat, never for the same manager

The lack of organization from certain managers and directors.

There are many aspects the show favoritism and there is nothing to stop the hostile work environment that produces

Day to day changes, but you are always doing your best to help those in need as well work with your peers to make a positive working environment that enriches the experience of their patients

MICROMANAGEMENT. Accounts revenue department offers "flexible" schedule and work from home 2 days a week but really just means you're even more under a microscope. You receive constant emails and teams messages while you're trying to complete the expected daily work load and then get scolded by management if you do not respond fast enough. The work environment is stressful and toxic. Management does not support staff. I received a phone call by my supervisor while off the clock and was told lead coordinator made a complaint that I do not communicate because although I come in and leave same time every day the coordinator does not know when I am at work even though I sit right next to the coordinator and was told that I need to personally go to coordinator and physically say hi and bye every day. This place does not value its hard working employees and for that reason has a high  turnover rate. 

Typical day was to answer incoming phone calls from patient's, insurances, and attorney's, resolve issues, create liability accounts, create and send appeals or information to insurances, follow up with prior and current phone calls, copy, fax, or scan as needed.  Input new bankruptcy's filings, update accounts with financial assistance. 
I learned to be able to work with many different types of calls. 
Management always there to be supportive and give us information of news from the company. 
The workplace culture is a diverse workforce. The company goes out of its way to help with issues such as allergies to fragrances and other types of allergies and will assist with any physical requirements. 
The hardest part of the job to me was not being able to reach some insurances or very long wait times or misinformation.
  Good place to be part of a team.

A typical day consists of transferring data via computer, retrieving voice mail, email and completing follow-up notes, scheduling your day, a brief review of client notes, travel to homes an completing treatments. Frequent voice mail checks during the day and phone calls to Doctors and team members. At the end of the day you transfer your daily documentation. The most enjoyable aspect of this position is meeting very interesting and diverse people. The management is very supportive when you can get through to them on the phone. This environment is very autonomous and unless you are in the office you very rarely have in person contact with other co-workers..  I learned quite a bit about home care services and available community resources.  Scheduling and family dynamics can be challenging.

I worked for CNE during the Memorial Hospital transition.  It was very sad the way they handled the closing of the Memorial Hospital and how many employees and their families were affected.  

You have the Primay Care facility that is still open with the most uneducated Office Managers running the place especially the rude Brunette who is allowed to be little and talk down employees to their Peers and has a very unprofessional demeanor.  It’s also terrible when the higher up manager knows what is going on and defends her and she does nothing to correct her and she is allowed to embarrass and insult the employees.  Very unprofessional.  There is no room to grow @ The Primary Care facility it needs a stronger management team to make it more orderly and more professional.

A typical day at work in the morning receiving assigned tickets and projecting how long will tickets take to resolve to meet customer timely satisfaction.

Management was very poor at communication which in turn lead to
assigned work been delayed for lack of necessary information.

Our IT group had an awesome work relationship helping each other out as a team should do.

The hardest part of the job as mentioned before was the extreme lack of communication which lead all the way to the top of upper management.

The most enjoyable part of the job was the satisfaction obtained by happy customers satisfied with meeting their expectations.

I took the position medical biller at the Bulter Hospital campus. I must say, I liked everyone I worked with. The job wasn't as challenging and I wanted more. Also no OT. I had over 10 years experienced in this field and felt I deserved more of a pay. After one year, I started to look elsewhere just to see what others offered. Well money talks and so does the flexiblity. I left in good terms. My director was nice enough to back pay me what I deserved. CNE is a nice place work for if you go and do your work. I left and went where the money pays more. Been at that job going on 2 years and still happy!

I have been employed within the CNE organization since 1999 holding various supervisory and management roles.  The environment is ever-changing with continual emphasis on quality of care and access to care.  I am a direct liaison to my assigned medical offices with the organization and work with them in hiring new employees, following organizational and procedural workflows, running clinical and financial reports and monitoring expenses.  I often meet with providers to review productivity benchmarks and scheduling workflows.  

The most enjoyable part of the job is the autonomy and providing the best customer service to the providers and office staff.

I worked 5 day s week 8 hrs per day entering / approving charges to be billed out to insurance companies.

I also helped my co workers in the edit and rejections department.
Editing claims before they were billed out.

The position was eventually eliminated and then I was transferred into the scanning medical records department. This is where is scanned in hundreds of payment posting records to the system.


This job ended as they hired someone for the job.
