Initially I was excited to work for CareLinx because the starting pay was very good. Plus in addition they added hazard pay which made it seem all worth it. To my understanding, the position I applied for was for a facility in Sylmar. The listing they posted said they would be flexible to my needs and I had requested MORNING shifts. Come to find out, I was told I would be going to a Glendale facility which is almost 30 miles from me and not to mention they scheduled me for a NIGHT shift. They said it would be for that one time and I was fine with that. They also mentioned to me that they would prioritize my preferences and give me a better schedule. A day after I finished that shift, they scheduled me again for another night shift in Glendale. I was already prepared to work that night, then they cancelled on me last minute. They then proceeded to schedule me at the initial facility last minute, but I was still determined to work so I went. The facility they made me go to didn’t have proper PPE, was scarce on gloves that CNA’s had to ask me from my own, was short on staff and the load for an LVN was tremendous and tiring, the RN’s were lazy and demanded things on the spot as if you were a dog, and many more... I vented to Carelinx and they assured me that there would be extra help the following day. The “help” supposedly didn’t even show up because she was sent home. Miscommunication? I’m not surprised. So to my surprise I had to do the same thing all over again for another shift. As I was completing my timesheets all week, I kept getting them rejected. I was promised a certain amount of hazard pay for going in, and they didn’t comply to it. This company pretty much short-handed me money. I honestly do not trust them at all. They’ll promise one thing, but won’t go through with it. They’re only priority is getting someone scheduled wherever just to get their money from that facility, even if it takes lying to get it done. I have invoices as proof, so they can’t lie about it. Never working for this company ever again and I suggest you don’t either.

Carelinx insist they are not an employer nor are you their employee but yet they take a 1/3 of every hour your client pays. They say it's for payroll processing. What payroll? The client can pay me directly instead of making client pay them and them paying me. Why do they need to take 1/3 of every hour I work. I'm ok with a one-time charge for creating the platform for the caregiver and client to find each other but to take monies they had no part in earning is not correct. They don't want to be your employer to save themselves the overhead employers pay such as workers comp. Ins. Or health ins. Or paid vacations or sick days, benefits that are required by law. For example as a caregiver I'm asking $20.00 hr.  Carelinx will then charge the client $28.00. Then pay you 20.00 and keep $8.00 of each hour I worked for themselves. The more I work the more money THEY make off of me and the more money the client pays. Does this sound like I'm working direct.?  Carelinx is not a place it's just a website!

A day at work is pretty much the same it okay. What I have learn and notice that I’m paid way less then the numerous people I have referred what CareLinx’s seaman not to understand is we are nurses we network we talk business to get them to work for this company. So yes we share income information. It comes with registry networking. . And have yet to receive my referral money. Management is all over the place I’ve been switch around way to much. When you should have one so they will get to know your work habits as a cna.  The culture is fare but pay isn’t. The hardest part of my job is Having 24 yrs experience and to here another person with only a yr exp. makes way more then me. That’s the hard part I love what I do. But getting paid on time and trying to figure out there hard time sheet is very confusing to a lot of people to where people I have referred to CareLinx snf has went to other registries because of payment and timesheets always being rejected.  The best part of my job is I like to travel to different facilities meeting new people and patients.

Not anymore. The metrics and scoring of first calls is horrible, you have hundred of cases that go without help because they only care about getting ppl enrolled and the recruiting and intake team is a bunch of foreign incompetent ppl who don’t do their part. You become a part of the call center during half of the day. Pay is super low for a bachelors degree and the extent of work we have to do. It very micromanaged now as well. You have to set your status to like five different things daily.  New management has come in and wrecked shop. Do not work for this company unless you’re in desperate need of a little bit of money and wfh just to have income. Not even making half of what I paid for my degree. Job was ok until they completely took away overtime

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Now it seems that every single care advisor that you need to communicate with to set up employment with a client is from another country, which I could usually care less about, but every single one now has such a thick accent and completely unable to communicate and keeps everyone totally confused it's not worth the frustration for a lousy 2 hour shift especially because we caregivers get 1099'd. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Terrible communication and they take FOREVER to do their job!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Running around from client to client trying to log enough hours to make a living and then wait forever to get paid.

The good thing about this place was you could set your own pay amount. So when you can work for what you feel your worth you always try your best to do everything perfect. Sometimes perfect isn't good enough. Family's can make thing's hard when they have an ulterior motive. Carelinx had more of connection with the family and not the employee. I got let go and was never given a reason or ever talked to about any issue that was in my ability to.control or change for the better.
I think that is unfair work place enviornment. When you are being discriminated before you can even have a chance to explain or give another side. So yeah you can be let go at any time for any reason. Seem's that is very common theme.  Just a number nobody really cares.

The app does not allow for changes on your profile for contact information. That is a problem. How can I apply for jobs and set up interviews if the families cannot contact me?
No one in management seems to have the answers for anything. They give the same rehearsed answers time after time.
Promised monetary increases are not followed through with, and this has happened SEVERAL times.  I am a hair away from quitting, and the only reason that I don't, is because my people love me, and I love them. I am giving it one more week and if there is no progress, I'll have to go another direction. This isn't the way to treat people who are trying to make an honest difference.


I like my job, like all jobs we all need to learn the rights and the wrongs, the does and the donts!  They are willing to help you as long as you’re honest with yourself and honest with your clients. What I’ve learned is if you take a job you need to go as scheduled! If you do not you may get on probation. Be careful the jobs that you take make sure you can get to them make sure they are close because if not you will be put on probation. So I am very happy about this job and I would recommend it to anybody who needs a caregiver or would like to work don’t hesitate to work for these people.  I really have thoroughly enjoyed my job and the people as well God bless this business.

Great in terms of "working when you want", however you are responsible for looking for clients. They have "staffing coordinators" but they suck at it, they ask for preferences but never adhere to them, if you want work nearby they send you available jobs hours away sometimes in remote areas. They are hard to get in touch with and only respond through a robot chat. They are of zero help to you. The only two good things about this company are that you can learn new skills through virtual training, and you can negotiate pay with clients, even then it's not that great due to majority of clients that use the app only need a caregiver for one hour a week. There are better agencies if you do your research, skip this one.

You will not work for CareLinx. It is just a App that connects Caregivers with Insurance Clients or private pay. Your employer is the person you are caring for, CareLinx is not your Employer. You will be 1099 and pay your own taxes!
The "Care Advisors" are incompetent and answer phones offshore...Phillipines,Thailand, Venezuela, Mexico...
They are paid by insurance on behalf of the Client and pay you as little as possible. There are no benefits, no training, no perks and any customer service is useless.
This is just a Housekeeping service for people with insurance and don't need a true personal Caregiver.
