Before all of the changes in 2024, I LOVED my job at CareDx. The company has strong values that aligned with my values and it was truly rewarding to serve the transplant community. I enjoyed talking to clients and patients. Changes in management all throughout the company led my decision to leave after 7 years. Our department was downsized even though we had several contracts that needed coverage. This made days long, overwhelming, and stressful. The new dept director was incompetent, close minded, and lacked people skills. Unfortunately for the dept, it was clear she was promoted by being close friends with executive leadership. Overall, the company itself has a worthy mission and there's many wonderful, intelligent people doing amazing things to serve transplant centers and patients.

CareDx is a company with a great product and a promising future. I believe that the work they are doing is very important and beneficial to many people. I was less than thrilled with the management and did not enjoy my time working there. The job was very monotonous and the management makes you feel put under a microscope. I have never been lectured more in my life than when I worked here. Perhaps if I worked for a different department within the company my experience could have been more enjoyable.

There is a lot of inter-department beef for absolutely no reason. The management required employees to be on site when 99% of the work could have been done remotely. Concerns about the state of certain accounts go unheeded or take an incredibly long time to resolve. They love to preach about being a family (which in of itself should have been seen as a red flag)  in front of new recruits and providers but everything about the culture is cut throat and toxic.

I applied to this job through a job agency contract, it was really nice and they trained me on what to do with the packages, lab samples, and other items we received. Coworkers were very friendly and helped each other on projects that we had, like "how we should organize these lab samples better". They taught me a lot while working there and I appreciate it a lot

CareDx is a great company with lots of growth potential. For the most part, everyone working at CareDx is very dedicated and extremely professional. If you want to be in a fast-paced, challenging environment, but still have support from your manager and colleagues, you will find it there. Sure, every group and every manager is different - but if you want to make impact to patients, there are few companies that do it as well as they.

Will be facing multiple new competitors in the market so if you lose one account you will never hit your goals. Pay is low vs. expectations. Top heavy management, information is not shared, very  clicky, backstabbing, poor work life balance, training program and development program is non existent. Too many conference calls and you are totally micromanaged. The only good thing is that product is covered by insurance.

Managements expects much and gives little - not trustworthy they  throw  stock at you to stay but it’s not worth much and they dont value employees .  I’ve heard they cheat  people out of bonus but not sure.  Overtime I’d only offered when they are using employees ! People do t stay at caredx because of management. 

If u love helping people get well , from there sickness, this is the perfect company...Patients are easy to work with and its a highly respected job...This job can elevate your skills in venipuntures, but u need to be already skilled,u must bring that to the table...

If you like working your butt off (50+ hours a week expected from you if you work as a CLA) and dysfunctional management, then maybe this place is for you. The work is extremely repetitive, the work load is ridiculous, and you go home feeling degraded. Horrible. They make it up by giving you a CareDx t-shirt tho at least (sarcasm).
