This company is terrible! The wage is an absolute joke. Fast food workers are getting paid more an hour to do a lot less. They expect you to learn how to process an account after only 2 weeks of training, and be up to speed after only 2 months with no mistakes. the amount of work they expect you to do per hour is unrealistically high, and you only get a bonus if you consecutively reach that insane goal every week which isn't worth it. I see why the turnover is always so high at this company, and the same jobs on their career site are always being reposted! The only benefit is being able to work from home. But the amount of work they expect you to process everyday, its not even worth it. You'll barely have time to go to the bathroom. From the constant reviewing of procedures, to learning new accounts, to all the information they expect you to retain and remember....the expectations and demands for this job is higher than what you are paying folk.

The staff here is so unhappy, and it shows. Everyone has a lot on their plates, and they were understaffed - I mean every department - so it's understandable. However, they train you for less than 3 days and throw you on the phones on your own. Management expects the rest of the department to help you - which they do as much as they can, but they are already overworked as it is. When asking management to help out while we are understaffed, they respond by telling us that the managers have not been trained to do what the department does. Okay - but you only trained us for less than 3 days in the first place, so why can't management take 3 days out of their schedules and step up to the plate? Instead they complain to you that calls are getting dropped. How is this a surprise? Help your department out and get on the phones when you're short-staffed! This is why good people leave. If you don't care enough to help your "team" out, then you are not a part of the team.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part was the ability to work from home and the range of start times.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Never get the same answer twice, the KPI’s were just a step down from perfect, and the training after the initial couple weeks is more on the fly. Obviously one can’t re-create every scenario, but it’s hard to remember things through sticky notes and online personal notes.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I’m not really sure how people have been with this company for 20, 25 even 30 years. Everyone micromanages like that is their main job is to know what you were doing every single minute of every single day. When you’re on the phone with a vendor or a client, you can’t dictate how long you’ll be holding. And it’s very hard to work while you’re holding because of the way the system works

If you are looking for additional, mostly, steady income from home, this is a good choice. The pay is low, but it adds up. The work can be done within a 12 hour window (mostly 6pm - 6am), but if you log on late, there is a chance of having no work to complete. Therefore, you won't complete your hours. I have been able to complete my 20 hours every week by logging in at the time the work is released.

The HR lady and the manager had different information and I was confused up until after the on-site training was over. 

The manager and trainer were very nice and friendly in person; can't say the same after starting to work from home. They are very cold and distant via email. Feedback on work processed is non-existent, which does not help if striving for 100% accuracy.

I intend to keep this job for as long as I can.

Cass  is a fair job to work for if you love working from home and enjoy having a very flexible schedule that still allows you to take care of family the downfall is no matter how hard you work and if you're overachiever your pay your raise is very little the hourly pay is less than majority of companies and your responsible to pay to have internet service and a ergonomic Office Space they do not pay stipend for your internet cost and as the economy increases your pay will not by much, they will train you to work on a variety of apps but it ill never result to a reasonable pay raise, so if you're looking for a fair pay this is not the place but if you're looking for flexibility then Cass is a nice place to work.

Not treated fairly, coworkers are all bullies. No accommodations, not even if you're throwing up. Almost no training, nothing was explained. No breaks. No lunches.  All time requested off counts towards pto, even though that wasn't told to me at the beginning. Co-workers would take the mail right out of my hands, would get mad if I loaded the machine more than once in a row, even though it did not matter who loaded it. Everyone had a different way of doing things and I was expected to remember who did what or they would get mad. Even though they did nothing to accommodate the way I wanted to do things.

- I cannot give management a good review, I was promised a specific job if I would take another job on a temporary basis. The position that was supposed to be temporary became permanent. I never was hired for the job I was promised. I was used.
- Work place culture was great, I made a lot of good friends.
- The hardest part of the job was being alone much of the time and not being included in 'team' discussions when I was actually a part of a team.
- I loved the opportunity to work with the Microsoft Office applications.



Completely overworked for next to no pay. They always gave you too much work and if you didn’t finish it was fine but you have to return it by 7am, when they can just reprint it. It was great for a while until they take advantage. Zero time off. You have to “earn” unpaid vacation. 

Great opportunity to work with some wonderful individuals and to expand my knowledge of business.

A typical work day is ensuring your client(s) systems work as designed and manipulate the system or procedures if issues arise.  

The hardest part of this job is not knowing whom to contact internally for some issues.  Some people are more apt to saying the issue does not pertain to them and not give any advice as to whom to talk to.

The most enjoyable part of this job is many co-workers are wonderful and more than willing to help each other when needed.

Cass as a company is very stable, however they are very far behind the times in employee benefits. Their Health, Vision, Dental are terrible plans that don't cover much. One large benefit is that they still offer a company paid pension and a match 401K plan. The yearly salaries are low for the amount of work and type of work the employees are doing. The pay was well below the industry standard for the work being performed.
