What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part of my job is communication, as it often requires balancing clarity, efficiency, and empathy in fast-paced or challenging situations. However, this aspect of the role has also been one of the most valuable for my professional growth.

It has pushed me to become more mindful in how I listen, respond, and adapt to different customer needs and expectations. Over time, I have developed stronger communication skills and a greater ability to handle complex interactions with patience and professionalism.

While it can be demanding, this challenge has ultimately helped me improve the quality of service I provide and strengthened my ability to connect with customers effectively.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is positive and supportive, which makes a meaningful difference in day-to-day responsibilities. Team members are encouraging, and there is a strong sense of collaboration that helps create a productive and respectful atmosphere.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day at work involves problem-solving and working with reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency. I regularly review charges , billing tasks and challenges as they arise, and find solutions that support both operational goals and customer needs.

This routine keeps me engaged and helps strengthen my analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage tasks effectively.

Credentialing Manager with extensive experience leading provider credentialing and enrollment operations for multi‑specialty practices. A typical workday involves overseeing end to end credentialing workflows, guiding a credentialing team, collaborating with providers and payers, resolving complex credentialing issues, and ensuring continuous compliance with NCQA, CMS, and payer standards. Through this role, I have developed strong leadership, decision making, and problem‑solving skills, along with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, payer processes, and operational risk management.
I have gained valuable experience in people management, including mentoring staff, setting expectations, managing priorities, and fostering accountability while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a high‑volume environment. I value a workplace culture built on collaboration, transparency, professionalism, and mutual support, and I strive to create an environment where team members feel empowered, supported, and aligned with organizational goals.
The most challenging part of the role is managing time‑sensitive credentialing issues, payer delays, and changing requirements while balancing competing priorities and maintaining compliance. At the same time, this is also the most rewarding successfully resolving complex credentialing matters, supporting provider onboarding and organizational growth, and developing a strong, knowledgeable team are the most enjoyable aspects of the job. I am highly motivated by contributing to efficient operations, strong provider relationships, and a culture of excellence within credentialing and medical services management.

Super disappointing experience, you’ll be lead on from the start about how there are plenty opportunities for growth (definitely not on this team). Gossipy, unprofessional, and disorganized. A lot of recent turnover from “senior” (aka 1.5-3 years) members of the team, and it’s easy to see why. The only good thing about this team is that most of the team members are great, talented people. 

The workload was impossible. I stressed to my supervisors multiple times that I was overwhelmed and I was told that it would be fixed but my workload only grew bigger. When they did hire additional help, I was expected to do the brunt of the training even though I was not in a leadership position.

It's impossible to prioritize things or succeed in this position and I was given little to no support from management. Gossip is a significant problem and I learned not to trust anyone.

Expect to be underpaid and don’t expect to receive a raise or promotion on this team. In my offer letter and interview, I was promised a raise after 90 days that I did not receive. My title did not match the duties or skill level. It was advertised (and paid) as an entry-level job but required significantly more in-depth responsibilities than anyone could reasonably expect.

Working at Center For Vein Restoration offers a mix of opportunities and challenges. The work itself is highly motivating, with ample flexibility in problem-solving that encourages innovative thinking. However, the micromanagement from upper-level management can be overwhelming.

Our district manager and regional director exhibit impatience, often to an unreasonable degree, which can create a stressful work environment. Despite my high standards for productivity and quality, I empathize deeply with our local employees, as their needs are my priority. Unfortunately, upper management at the corporate level often behaves like bullies toward clinic staff and shows little concern for providing proper support and coverage.

Since our acquisition, several promises made by corporate were retracted, leaving many of us feeling deceived and undervalued. Both employees and patients seem to be a low priority for the operations team, who expect local management—namely, practice managers—to take the blame for their lack of care and support.

It’s important to note that each clinic is different. The clinic I work in is very cooperative, with a team that always looks out for each other. CVR as a whole offers great benefits, including medical coverage, flexible scheduling, and various accommodations. The CEO is very kind and thoughtful; it’s just a shame that this attitude doesn’t translate down the chain of command.

Overall, while there are significant benefits to working here, such as the motivational challenges and problem-solving freedom, the issues with upper management and their approach to staff and patient care need to be addressed to improve the work environment.

I gave such a rating because for a company with 21 practices, it still operates like a small 1-2 practice organization. The company is comprised of many people in leadership position who don't want to change to fit the growth of the organization.  Departments such as Human Resources are only recently being a focus so a lot of backtracking is being done.  No major employee concerns get addressed and everyone seem to think that the company does not really care about them.  

The actions of management are rarely conducted in a professional manner as many of the leaders don't know how to communicate with each other or staff.  Snippy comments, snide remark, and threats are used to get staff to perform. Backbiting is a common trend among managers which trickle down to the team.  

Many of the employees are frustrated that they give but there is very little return. From the cost of the benefits to the extensive travelling without compensation the staff still feel like they are temporary and contract workers, rather than vested members of a growing organization.

The most enjoyable part of the job is helping the patients get what they need.

What I've learned is about Venous Insufficiency and how it affects the lives of more people than I could imagine. I am glad to know that there are resolutions for patients.  I have had the opportunity to be introduced to another fascinating area within the healthcare industry.

A typical day at Center for Vein Restoration is fast-paced and collaborative, with a strong focus on supporting patient care (always patient first) and internal teams. I’ve learned a lot about teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving in a growing healthcare environment. Management is generally supportive and open to feedback, though clearer communication during periods of change would be helpful. The workplace culture is positive and team-oriented, with colleagues willing to help each other succeed. The hardest part of the job can be keeping up with rapid growth and evolving processes, while the most enjoyable part is working with a dedicated team and knowing the work contributes to improving patient outcomes.

This company has given me an incredible opportunity to grow as a professional and person throughout its incredible growth.  I have been able to witness this same opportunity for many other employees who continue to take amazing care of our patients and each other.  I have been able to move into several roles in the organization with the support of my co-workers and my supervisors.  

The culture here has been very supportive and I have developed many wonderful working relationships as well as friendships throughout the years.  I have enjoyed the fast-paced environment and the continuous striving for the organization  to be the leader of venous disease treatment. 

What I cherish most in this role is knowing that you really are making an impact in the lives of the people we serve and have the latitude to care for these people.  Even though I currently am in an administrative role, I occasionally run into former community members we have treated in our location and they still remember me and the team that treated them.  They are so thankful of Center for Vein Restoration for the care they received.  It is such an honor to be part of that.

Currently employed with the company. Been here for almost 3 years now. I started with zero knowledge in the medical field and they took a chance on me. Within 5-6 months, I was training new hires after me and I was promoted. I have traveled all over the region I work in, filling in other clinics. Every clinic runs differently. The outcome is still the same, but each clinic has different days than others. One may be very fast paced others may be slower. But all in all, we all have the same outcome. While taking care of patient's and their needs is top priority, they also care for their employee's as top priority as well. Everyone is welcoming, no  matter if you just started or if youre filling in somewhere, everyone welcomes you with open arms.  I will also add that the Physicians are very down to earth. All the doctors ive worked with they are all down to earth, understanding and just genuine. You dont always find that in doctors offices. Some tend to come off rude or acting like you're below them because they are a doctor, but not here. Ive never once felt like that and I think that says a lot about a company.

This job is great for work/life balance— paid holidays, no weekends, set day shift schedule— however there is little to no opportunity for growth. I was offered a promotion after 1 year but no salary increase even though the new position came with additional responsibilities on top of my current position and more medical liability. They flaunt a center bonus during the interview process, however the goals are unobtainable and I don’t think a single clinic in their 100+ network has qualified for this bonus in over a year. I have coworkers who have been promised promotions, took on the extra workload (for 2 years), but they never received the increase in salary they were promised over these 2 years. Their business model is business-centric rather than patient-centric which leads to unnecessary procedures for profit. I enjoyed my workplace and the fun environment in the office, but all of management is located in Maryland and completely disconnected from the clinic setting.
