The company as a whole is great and offers many locations that you can seamlessly transfer too. As a psych facility they lean more towards patient happiness vs safety, which in return creates a less safe environment for staff.  As with any job you have your basic lack of communication but its pretty minimal. Depending what sector/unit you are working on and who you are paired on will constitute how well or not well your shift may go. Compensation is above market average with yearly raises. There are opportunities to move up in the company which are generally given in house, yet subjective view-points are relied upon in some instances over objective views and determinations.  Department leads are pretty straight forward and fair for the most part, however some of the nursing supervisors can be a little ruffled around the edges. Overall great job security and if you have ever worked *successfully in psych or behavioral health you should be able to acclimate and flourish welly, if not - it will be a major culture shock.  

This job was or is not a bad job. It's your typical inpatient mental health facility. You may have some ok bosses but then u may have some horrible ones. They were many horrible ones there. 
Their biggest downfall is coming up with changes overnight and expecting the staff to follow it the next day to a T. 
Always a change to a policy or rule overnight. 
No real room for growth as well unless u are studying to be an RN.

Working here has definitely brought me good and bad days. The job itself is very rewarding, but can also be stressful/emotionally draining. However, this could be avoided if we were not understaffed. Most of my coworkers are cynical about this company and it plays a part in their communication with their colleagues and patients. I enjoy a fast paced environment, but it can also be overwhelming and I feel exhausted when I get home. The pay is not worth it in the long run to me. Benefits are great. I am able to build PTO easily and we also get sick days. I don’t think this is something anyone can do long-term, but it’s great for self-growth and perspective. It might even spice up your resume! 

The medical records department is not what you would expect; the employees are nice but the boss has issues with her hot and cold temper tantrums. Nothing you do is good enough and even when something is out of your control, the blame gets placed on the employees. That dept has a revolving door and 8 emplyees have left within the past year. The coding is deemed more valuable than the actual prep work which allows for the coding to get accomplished. The boss is not well liked around the facility. It is well past her time to retire and everyone knows it. The facility needs an overhaul. 

You clock in , go to your office , check emails , update treatment team agenda , attend meeting , and start assigned work assignments ( PSA , MTP, FC, and Discharges, group therapy ). 
I learned as a current employee - do not wear your feelings on your shoulder- in unit patients will verbally degrade you if they don’t get their ways. 
Management is wonderful- no issues on my end , just do what is assigned. 
Work environment- fast paced 
Hardest part of the job - can’t help every patient . 
The most enjoyable part of the job is the commodore with colleagues working towards helping patients . 

Very bad culture at CFBH and lack of trust for upper management. CEO is very good at protecting the bottom line of the company but lacks greatly in the care component of the patients. Repeat patients, even those not fit for the patient population are admitted repeatedly which put other patients and staff in danger. The turnover is high so you’d think they would treat the ones who hang around better but they don’t. Expect to see many of coworkers pack up and leave. Also l, being bilingual is a skill, compensate for those skills or utilize the translation service you claim to have. 

I learned that this hospital leaves patients worse off then they were before they arrived. My co workers don’t care about the job or their patients, only their check. My supervisors only care to “fill the beds” even if that means putting a patient with psychosis on the high functioning unit, which disrupts the peace for a majority. Other techs disappear during their shifts, leaving you understaffed constantly. The hardest part of the job is NOT dealing with patients, it’s dealing with your unethical and unreliable co workers 

Job is great if you love psychology/nursing. Really awesome place to work if you need experience in the field or are in school. In that aspect I couldn’t recommend it more. However the night supervisor is absolutely HORRIBLE to the staff. The techs aren’t taken seriously and needs aren’t addressed. Often dont get breaks on 12-16hr shifts. That being said, the other staff are amazing people and make the job worth it. 

Everyone comes to work to late and management does nothing about it. Instead of the $25 Publix gift card they give us for Thanksgiving they should give out new alarm clocks. Staff should be banned from using their cell phone and ear pieces. I get to work early and leave late because nobody gets written up for being late. Tgan there are people who sit and snore at their desk while I work my a** off. Despite being camera they think this is acceptable. People more interested in there phones than the patients. It’s pretty sad. 

I love my job and I love the doctor and unit I’m assigned to.  I don’t like being micro managed and don’t like that we have to do so many unnecessary things in addition to the job.

My coworkers are all wonderful people and I adore them all. Almost everyone who works here is nice. The real issue is micro management and poor morale amongst our team.
