I began working here thinking I would be able to advance if I showed my dedication and willing to learn more.  There was no morale in the office so I implemented fun holiday decorating parties and contests.  I cleaned up the kitchen and the supplies room.  I also took on jobs that I was not supposed to be doing.  But it was a way to learn and show my willingness.  

However, I quickly learned that they did not care about getting to know their employees.  Instead they ignored emails about ways to improve, and stayed in their offices hiding from their employees.  

Your job will not be safe here!  They will turn around and lay you off claiming they are cutting back when you know very well how well the company is doing.  I had never been in trouble or written up.  My boss who was the heart of the company had left, and on her last day they decided to let me go.  I was the office manager but they only saw me as her secretary.  If they had taken the time to get to know me and see all that I did do in the short time I was there they would see I was an asset.  

I'm not the only one who feels that they treat their employees poorly.  Everyone who works there knows this and has tried to help but they only see their employees and dollar signs.  It is sad and I feel bad for everyone else who has been thrown away like I was.  Because I was not the first one and I won't be the last!

Management doesn’t care about staff,even if that’s what they want you to believe.They are not honest about your schedule and expect for you to drop everything on the dime to stay late and fix their lack of organization and communication.They never thank you and take credit for everything.Unless you are good looking…. They only  cares about the bottom dollar,their image and their ego ..Horrible  work-life balance, terrible in-fighting and constant battles between teams. Very low pay for hours  spent working and no overtime unless you work over 50 hours per week !!If you have higher degrees that you thought made you more valuable, think again. One slip up, and you'll be fired no understanding or compassion. Very stressed staff that have no choice but constantly call out causing more stress.
DO NOT WORK here .
Animals are also over studied and kept in very poor conditions.
Only half an hour lunch if you are lucky !!
HR Is fake don’t believe anything they say. 
I can go on and on 

The workplace and environment the managers create at Champions is very toxic. When you speak up about the workload or wanting to make changes, you live in fear of getting fired. 
Management will always look for a “fall” or “blame” guy to make the clients and themselves feel better.
Management does not care about your personal wellbeing and is often unprofessional.

This is the type of place you work at to pass time until you find something better.

It is a poorly run organization who only cares about money and has a high turnover rate. 
They do not train you but just expect you to know everything in the first week. 

There is ZERO opportunity for career advancement and hardly a chance to get a pay raise.

Avoid, it’s a scam.

Honestly I should've known this place was a sham from the start. I got hired off of an informal 20 minute phone call and the manager didn't even seem interested in any of my qualifications. During orientation, it became clear that HR is a joke as they talked about "no drama", "can't always believe what you hear because sometimes people cause things to happen to themselves" discussions which were clearly a panicked attempt to prevent new hires from sprinting out the door. The people seemed relatively nice, but seeming to be okay working with animals living in deplorable conditions eluded me to the fact that most of the people there didn't have an ounce of compassion in their soul. If you still intend to work here after reading this, I suggest you acclimate yourself to consistently working 10-14 hour shifts.

I was given printed out, timed tests as well as verbal tests the entire time i was at the company to "prove" that i knew what i was doing. My work was good, there were no mistakes, they simply didn't want me there and the testing was a way to prove that i was incapable of preforming my duties. These were administered my my boss who was openly rude and aggressive towards me for anything from asking questions to sitting there carrying out my work. There was a very high turn over rate due to the overtime hours the company made people work. I received no training whatsoever because there was no one who had been there long enough to train me. 

There's a good chance your managers will change once every 4 months and your coworkers will leave after 6 months. Overtime is daily and can range from a few minutes to a few hours a day. Upper management refuses to adjust the workload to compensate for staffing turnover, contrivuting to burned out employees and frequent turnover. Company will hold long meetings (without decreasing the workload for the day) to talk about issues in the department but does not adequately address them, resulting in employees who do not believe they are heard and dont want to attend meetings that make them stay later. Make sure you negotiate a good starting wage as you'll likely average 8 hours of overtime pwe week after you are fully trained

If you care about your sanity and mental health, do not work here. Overwhelming workload that never ends because turnover rate is so high due to poor management. Management treats employees like kids and harasses/bullies you for prioritizing your sanity. They also try to manipulate you into taking on more task than you can handle. Do your future self a favor and run far away from this company. You will NOT thrive in this environment at all. The reviews speak for themselves. 

I was expecting a more professional and productive environment. After working my first week at Champions I noticed the flaws within this employer. It was extremely obvious that this employer is more about setting a standard rate in which a employee completes tasks. If you can't reach those standardized rates than you will be terminated. I'm glad I left since my core values do not align with their own mission statement and core values. On paper they match but in  practice they don't. New employees beware and read the reviews.

This is thee worst company to come across in the field. The turnover rate speaks volumes. They WILL NOT value you or let you advance. All of management is toxic, clueless, egotistical, and unprofessional. Management will play mind games, lie, and manipulate to get who they want to what they want. This company always loses their veterinarian which is required for animal facilities. Animals on study are not properly cared for. If you value your mental health do not come here. It is not worth it.
