I was excited to start this job at first but then later started seeing plenty of red flags. Later to find out weird things after being hired. You barely get a lunch break which I thought was weird.  Management does not care about their team and definitely does not communicate effectively. I was hired for one thing and then was given a whole different job that completely took away the point of me having two licenses in my field. Instead of being encouraged to grow and become better you are talked about and belittled which is draining and no one wants to deal with. So happy this place is a thing of the past. Work life balance is definitely not a thing. I couldn’t ever find time to get a doctors appointment and their own offices said they weren’t taking new patients either. Very unprofessional and a joke. Constantly getting rude patients and then having to deal with rude ignorant management is not worth it. Constant micro managing is a bad problem. You can’t even wear a watch and your break is short even if you’re able to get one. God forbid if you do ask for one you get smart remarks make as well even thought it’s apart of laws. My very first day I was followed to the back to be watched as I was putting away my belongings. I’ve never had any job do that to me. I felt targeted from the start and it was weird. 

MH is a complete mess. There were lots of red flags during the hiring process and many things turned into empty promises. As an RN my supervisor, and the rest of the totem pole, were not the Providers, NPs, etc. and it showed in their total lack of understanding of clinical care. Don't expect them to provide clear and sensible roles/responsibilities for clinical staff. Unrealistic expectations, even unsafe at times. They have no clue what RNs and MAs do/should be doing, are not open to suggestions even from seasoned psych RNs, no support, and people doing a ton of work that goes disregarded. CHC seems more concerned with a defunct model of care that is not about the patients or the staff that are busting their a**. Join the club. Toxic office environment and cliquey.

Adult medicine office; 
Providers are asked to double book and not provide correct amount of time to patients and charge for minutes not provided.
Patient visits bring in billable income but Providers are not recognized as being the reason others receive a pay check.
Management treats Providers poorly and sets unobtainable goals.
Workplace culture is toxic and unfair.
Best part of job is building patient / provider relationships and giving patients the help they need.
Certain Providers are allowed to work 3 or 4 days but others have to work 5 days a week and cover early and late shifts for clinic that is open 12 hours.


Very friendly environment during orientation, until You get on the floor. I was not able to be properly trained due to always being short of staff. During orientation You are told that if You needed time off that as long as It was stated what days you would need off upon hiring they would be approved. I was fired for these two reasons without a second thought. HR nor management believe in giving you a fair shot, they are so quick to fire their employees They are sneaky and love a** kissers and because I was neither didn’t help me at all! Corporate should do a turn over analysis to see how many employees they go through and perhaps they can get to the bottom of why they stay so short staffed.

This was one of the worst job’s i’ve ever been employed at. They make you feel very welcome when you start and treat you like a robot once you there for about 90 days. You are treated more like a slave than an employee. They are sneaky, they lie on you, and they are very conniving. They always find away around doing the right things for their employees and the only people that matter are the Doctor’s. I would never recommend anyone to work here, they can’t keep any employees because of unorganized rules they just make up as they go along. The only good thing about the job are the weekends and paid holidays because the food was never all that. Too many chief’s not enough indinians.

Micromanaging and no consistency in how they want you to perform your job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stressful work environment and there a clique problem. Showing up to do your job is never enough and there is always someone trying to save their own job by trying to sabotage your work.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day is servicing patients, making sure that they are scheduled for any testing that they need or faxing any records to other provider offices.

Management offers little to no support, and it is hard to find policy and procedures in the mental health department. For a community-based organization, they seem to focus on numbers and maximizing their profits; more than helping and supporting the community they serve. Most providers will work 8 straight hours without a built-in break, lots of burn out that does not get addressed, leading to the loss of many amazing therapist.

The best part of this job is no weekends.

There’s a lot of hidden cliques and favoritism

If you’re “in” you’ll get along fine, but there’s a lot of favoritism involved.

Fairly busy, but not overly stressful

The worst job I ever had. Management she is very rude and talk about you behind your back and plays favorites. Constantly get accused of things when they want to get ride of you. Nobody wants to help see you win so cut throat and no teamwork . High turnover rate simply because they are so quick to be nasty and rude . Do not work at the on/gyn office. Unless you like kissing the managers butt to keep your job.and this is not a bitter review this is real.

Most days your work load is very heavy and you are unable to complete everything.  This is do to under staffing. Usually only 5 maybe 6 people and they keep adding to work load without more staff. They use several travelers due to lack of regular staff. Several people have left in the last year. 
The nurses on floor are always there for you on the other hand.
