My experience with Choice Medical Group is one I will never forget. I did learn a lot in my position, but was also depressed due to my pregnancy and what procedures where performed. The management was ok, but I feel they where sometimes not considerate of there staff and the patients needs. I feel they where there because it was a business. My co-workers where great especially because I was pregnant at the time working, they would help me with a lot of situations where I could not hold things over 15llbs, procedures and counseling that made me emotional. The hardest part of my job was the counseling we had to give before the procedures, some women where there against there will and some where minors. The most enjoyable part of my job was the help and support I would receive from my co-worker.

Management is not fair or appreciative. Changes made without notice or clear direction. Seems like once your manager doesn’t like you they look for every mistake. Hard to work in an atmosphere of fear. Most of my department was given bad reviews and written up for many different things.  Instead of a culture where u feel appreciated and can go to your supervisor with a problem you feel that u are always being looked at so you can’t bring up any problems, only agree with management.  Seems that management likes to hire their friends and move out anyone that is struggling.  New hires are brought in to department without any introduction to existing staff or explanation of the role of the new hire. Next thing u know u are giving ur work to the new hire and you’re out the door.

This is by far the worst company I’ve worked for. All they do is have favorites and no matter the complaint they ignore it. They click up with eachother and don’t care to have teamwork they will pick one person to put all the work on and only find coverage for who the favorites are. They lie and don’t communicate the way a team is supposed to and if you don’t read the emails or speak Spanish prepare to fill left out! The pay is great but just know everyone who works here that has not been with the company for years will leave due to the supervisor being horrible she knows absolutely nothing and needs to stick to referrals job is horrible run as far as you can.

Very calm communication is amazing between offices

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
We stay busy for most part on days we didn't have patience we would clean answer phones and catch up on computer work that we aren't able to get to with patience

This is an excellent team. I started brand new nurse that was new to case management and the remote position. The team built me up and taught me so much. The manager sat with me one on one many times to make sure I was thriving  and finally got it in the beginning. I have never had a manager invest that much time in me. I learned CM, UM and the Fresno hospitals process. I met a lot of people and loved this job. If I ever move  back to California I will re-apply!!!!! What Fresno and Choice taught me was great- I am able to do a similar role in my current position.

I enjoyed working at CHA for the 2 years i was there. the co-workers and patients were amazing, but management and higher ups made you feel like you were always walking on egg shells. employees came and went, and temps were their replacement or no one at all. The doctors are amazing, and the new system held problems for patients which made you feel needed. Sadly there is no guidance, minimal training, and constant tension. most employees think all new people are spies, so you don't get along with anyone until you prove yourself trustworthy.

Depending on what position you are in a normal day would consist of a normal everyday office job. I have learned so much about the interworking's of healthcare that I feel confident going to another medical group. Management depending on what department you work in is relative. Whether you like management is based on your personal opinions on how things should be run. The hardest part about my job was the long hours and at times can be overwhelming. The most enjoyable thing about my job was my co-workers and patients.

The culture at Choice is a family as it is family owned and operated for over 30 years.  They truly care about the community as the owners live here, have raised their kids here and now their grand kids.  The owners children went to school here in the high desert and left to go to Medical School and are now back and have become an integral part of the company and the medical community.  Management listens to you and takes your suggestions.  Always an open door policy!  Highly recommend as a place to work!

I worked for Choice Medical Group for over 12 years and found that the physicians and administration are very pro-patient and pro-employee.  They want nothing but the best for the community we live in.  The staff were pleasant and cooperative however, the work involved is fast-paced and detailed oriented.  You need to be on your game.  Patient care is number one priority and the team works diligently to make sure they are taken care of.

This was a very enjoyable office to work at. The facility is magnificent, the employees are like  family. There are many procedures and tests done here and it is a great learning environment with much freedom. It was always extremely busy so it was fun. The management was caring and friendly. Unfortunately there is not much room for advancement and the pay was far too low. No benefits offered.
