There are more negative aspects to say than positive. First, is they hire people that lack the appropriate academic credentials and/or certifications namely HR is not certified with the appropriate HR certificate. They hire temps for important and crucial positions such as accounting and pay them on an hour basis. Incompetent people all across the board that are unmotivated and extremely extremely lazy. Everyone shows up to work late while others don't show up at all or pop in for a few hours and leave and HR doesn't do anything. There is no accountability in this organization and everyone at the top plays the blame game and points fingers. They are are having a bad year due to the pandemic and laying off employees yet claim they "are growing rapidly" The CEO is MIA and rarely to almost never present and has a big ego and will take everyone else's word before hearing your side of the story. Backstabbing culture where people throw others under the bus, profanity is a common everyday occurrence. Nepotism runs deep here. HR never existed till late 2020. Some co workers are normal every day people, nice people. Upper management is not bright, not intelligent.

They give you work and expect a quick turnaround and will pay you cheaply for it then if you do not perform at the speed they want, will make different and random excuses as to why aren't adequate. The work isn't difficult and you are not that busy until the end of the month. 

This place is not accepting of fresh, efficient ideas and there is no comradery & sense of team work. Everyone is in it for themselves and there is no transparency & honesty.



I worked here for a year as an order entry tech. What they fail to mention in the position is that you will be on the phone being verbally abused by overworked nurses at LTC facilities more than you will actually be typing up orders for patients. Being on the phone is an "essential job function", so you have no choice; regularly, I would suffer panic attacks as a result. 

To be fair to them, management at the Cheshire location tries their best to accommodate their employees and make them comfortable within the limits set by corporate. My manager at the time is one that I will look back on fondly, as well as my coworkers as we were all being crushed under the same amount of stress at all times. 

Which leads me to the workflow: every day, you will be constantly reminded that the delivery has to leave at a certain time and you must hurry to finish typing orders. Hurry hurry hurry, all that hurrying and you will make mistakes which will lead you to hearing about it from management. At the time I worked there it was Monday through Friday with every other weekend to work - so expect 6 or 7 day stretches until your next day off. Idk how anyone thought this would be an appropriate and sustainable business model. 

Finally, corporate. And all I will say about that is that instead of giving us disaster pay for working through COVID19 lockdown, instead we got a banner strung up on the wall thanking us for our sacrifice. How lovely and absolutely not patronizing! Perhaps if the powers that be cared to think more about the well-being of their employees, turn over wouldn't be so high. 

Over all, stay away.



For starters nepotism runs DEEP within the core fabric of the company and its culture.  The "COO" is a joke of an individual that has no problem using anyone and everyone for his own purpose while hiding behind the "CEO" as a scapegoat for ALL the backstabbing, cold-hearted moves he pulls on those employees that have worked their hardest to help keep the company afloat in not only the hardest but also the busiest of times.  There are a few good managers but I promise you they are few and far between, most are absent minded and absent from sight while also quick to berate and bully their subordinates.  If you think the HR "professionals" will help you are going to be in for a seriosuly rude awakening, they are only interested in doing the companies bidding and absolutely nothing more, they will use any weakness you show against you and quickly exploit and intimidate you while doing so.  I know times are hard for most right now but I promise you that you are better off staying on unemployment rather then taking your chances with this place.

Being an order entry pharmacy technician can be very stressful based on my experience thus far. There were at times unrealistic expectations in terms of the number of orders you had to enter per hour while at the same time being responsible for answering the phone ringing incessantly all day long, assisting various callers with their needs, and a host of other miscellaneous pharmacy related tasks. Bad workers were not held accountable or disciplined which made it more difficult and stressful for naturally good, hard-working employees. Good workers were not rewarded in any sense for their hard work while other employees (sometimes making several more dollars per hour than me) did bare minimum and took advantage of being paid for 25 to 50 percent effort which then leads to a "why should I bother" burned out mindset and stress. I believe I was paid too low for my previous experience and proven work ethic. It was also incredibly taxing on my body and physical health sitting in a chair all day, staring at a computer screen, with no ergonomic chairs and desks. It took me many months to recover my health.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Management is fair, pay is competitive. It's a low stress job and everyone is so helpful. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
This is a low stress job imo. There are often changes/improvements made in our standards of practice, but management is always available if you need organization tips/reminders so that you can keep up!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very professional but also very easy going. This is the least stressful work environment I've ever experienced. I just wish everyone knew how great of a company CSS is.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I spend the shift conversing with members across the country. I educate them on their diagnoses, medications, and potential side effects. Throughout the day, I may received a few callbacks to make from my team lead or supervisor. My day is laid back, we get adequate breaks and many of us use sit-to-stand desks to avoid sitting too much.


Pharmacy floor is busy but with only a select few dedicated to the job.
Pay is hourly and there's no quota in place. Favorites fly under the radar while good workers are left overworked and underappreciated.

There's essentially a day crew and night crew. They constantly blame each other for leaving work behind or not doing their fair share. Currently night crew is saying they get their work done early and have "nothing" to do (spoiler: there's always something to do in pharmacy.)

Unprofessional behavior is common, including excessive phone usage and a whiteboard filled with unrelated doodles that further undermines the seriousness of the workspace.

If I were a customer and witnessed this level of chaos and lack of professionalism, I would choose a different pharmacy without hesitation.

The current work environment has had a significant impact on my mental health, and I often find myself experiencing stress and dread before coming in.

Other departments within the company may be different but DO NOT subject yourself to the culture and management within the call center at this company.  It may seem at first that the working environment is friendly but it will quickly change.  You are expected to meet and surpass quotas with little regard to quality.  In the call center you are on phone with patients and you may think that you are going to help patients but the company does not want that...their only objective is for you to get as many reviews complete as you can.  You will be micromanaged by someone who has no healthcare experience who sits on computer watching to make sure everyone is on phone...questioning clinicians about why documentation or speaking to patients takes longer than he expects...even though he has no background in pharmacy.  If he doesn’t like you he will make your day to day miserable until you quit or he will find a way to get rid of you.

If your goal is to find a steady job that you can stay in without ever aspiring to move up, this might be a good fit. The day-to-day work is manageable, and most of the staff are easy to work with, when they show up… as callouts are a daily thing. You eventually get used to the unrealistic expectations of the run times that never go out as scheduled, yet you are held to this constant false standard. 

If you’re someone who’s driven, growth-minded, and interested in leadership opportunities, just know that promotions here often come down to internal politics—not experience or performance. I applied for multiple roles I was qualified for and was passed over without clear feedback. Eventually, I realized the only way to advance was to leave.

Everyone’s experience is different, but this was mine, and I hope it’s helpful to someone else trying to make the right career decision.


The best part about this job is that it's a stress free environment and when I punch out for the day I'm able to leave work at the door. Working from home is of course an added bonus.
Our management is very helpful and encouraging and only wants to see us succeed. The work place culture is enjoyable, friendly, and well structured. 
We are paid fairly and there is usually opportunity to work overtime and/or earn a bonus each month. 
The work-life balance is unmatched in a healthcare setting, in my opinion. 
There's is opportunity for advancement as our company continues to grow and flourish. 
And best of all, I'm able to make a positive impact in patients lives each day from the comfort of my home office.
