I worked at CodeBlue for a total of two weeks for training. This is not your typical help desk job. You’re troubleshooting virtually with the managers of gyms for their NVR/DVR systems, you’re also calling vendors, field techs, and ISPs to ask for assistance from THEIR technical support team. Despite having the technical knowledge and learning adequately from my training I was suddenly laid off for not having the “skills” necessary for the job. The pay range is not $18-25 an hour. It’s $18. You are a temp until “they” think you are a good fit. They encourage you to ask questions, but have very little documentation on their own troubleshooting process. My training process was not cut and dry as my trainer was responsible for doing his own work WHILE training two people at the same time. Despite this, I still managed to learn a lot. However, due to some skill “mismatch” I wasn’t made aware of, I was let go. The coworker I trained with had a harder time than I did, but I was let go.
