Working with the clients is wonderful. The trick luck. If your particular team members and your immediate supervisor are ethical and honest- it can be a very nice job. 
However you won't know if they are or aren't for a little while and as soon as you realize this- then the truth of management and your superiors comes out. 
They seem to have one golden rule- client must have staff at all times, reasonable and how they get paid, understandable.
The problem, some staff are lazy, steal from client, even talk mean to clients, your care coordinator seems to be nice but might only be playing you. If you try to tell management - watch out. Totally different towards you when they hire you. 
In short, don't rock the boat simply show up. This appears to be their main goal.
Quantity over Quality.
So if you want to work here great..but my advice would be to not do anything more than duties assigned- they won't reward you for it. Secondly, if your supervisor talks about the other employees, know they are talking about you to them. So just shut your mouth and ignore neglect or abuse of yourself or client and you will fit right in.

I have read some other reviews on this site, and I've been employed with Comfort of Home for 2 1/2 years.  I've had multiple raises, and they actually started me out at $2.00 more per hour than the last agency I worked at.  They've been the best Home Care Company I've been employed at, and they go above and beyond to treat their employees with respect and gratitude.  If you don't care about taking the utmost care for their clients then don't apply here.  Most people only get online to give bad reviews, that's why I needed to put my 2 cents in.  It's sad when disgruntled, bad employees try to make themselves look better by degrading a stand up  A one company to work for. I've been working for this company going on 4 years now, 1 year as a Team Leader and now my 3rd year as as a Care Coordinator. I have learnt so much about myself as a person, where I want to be, what im supposed to do with my life and the difference one person or a group of people can make in the lives of the amazing individuals we support.  Its amazing how much better of a person you can become by understanding these individuals and seeing just how much of an impact you can have on their lives. We teach them daily living skills and how to become productive members of our community in hopes that all persons will see them and treat them as equals.  Management has been extremely supportive and welcoming, I do agree that the pay could always be better, and I know it will be with time as the business grows. Please come join us. It truly is an amazing place to work.!!!

clients give you a hard time, as to be expected working with adults with disabilities. that's the easy part - the difficulties are amplified when you consider the shame culture and CYA culture at this company. the morale at the company was horrible. very cliquey and gossipy and the st joe location looked upon the kansas city branch badly. lots of rumors unrelated to the job spread around, lots of badmouthing management from supervisors to regular staff. generally unprofessional, poor communication about policy changes. the company was very stingy with overtime and would put all the work on the salaried supervisors and make staff trade shifts to avoid paying out overtime as well.

Kansas city office is a mess. Management takes advantage of staff and they don't do anything to help moral or motivation. Its more about "money" and not client care since ownership changes. it's sad I used to love the job but it became to toxic and stressful. an occasional "snit" sandwich is something but when it's every day and your told to just deal with it isn't right. from a former supervisor. Advancement can not go above care coordinator. Your salary but work in homes 90% of the time because noone can be hired ( i do not think they actually look) and bad employees are kept because they can not or will not hire someone. Noone is held accountable for their issues and good people are taken advantage of until they burn out.

Work was fine and rewarding when trying to actually rehabilitate the clients. Unfortunately the owners were more concerned about keeping the clients as customers, than seeing the client become a valuable person to society and become a better individual. Wasn't allowed to keep my patient on their allowed budget. Also, not allowed to properly and professionally use defensive manipulations to protect myself when client came at me. Apparently there has to be a court document allowing the use once patient has done actually hurt another person at least 2x.

Pay is low for the industry.

Started working for this company over 8months ago since then I have received 2 raises, won 2  drawings for going above and beyond, recently became employee of the month following a promotion. I must say from co-workers to clients to management this is an awesome company that believes in taking good care of the clients as well as the staff. The pay is competitive, if your looking for an awesome company you've found it here. There's not a lot of company's that management and administrative staff answers calls from staff and clients when they want to vent. This company truly cares.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I recently joined Comfort of Home Healthcare, and I can already tell I made the right decision. The people is welcoming, leadership is supportive, and the training  is organized compared to where Ive worked before. It’s nice to see a company that truly cares about both employees and clients.

Taking test. I dont do well with test .

They are so caring and down to earth.

Nothing is typical in Healthcare.

Amazing company to work for they are in this business because they care about the clients and not the almighty dollar I can not imagine myself working for anyone else, if you're a hardworking employee you get your raises and have the opportunity to advance within the company and they make sure you know they appreciate you and the things they do, also a very family friendly company!! This is the first job that I have ever absolutely loved

A typical day would be preparing meals, preparing meds. I learned how to treat peoples homes with respect as well as the clients family and friends who often visit the homes. The management was very helpful if you had questions. The hardest part of the job was moving from house to house and not having a set schedule. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know the public and their families in their own environment.
