What is the best part of working at the company?
Since starting here, leadership has shown a willingness and hope to continue to grow and improve; in relation to our processes/procedures, care of patients, relationships with companies, and employee development. Many employees are incredibly kind and helpful; I have met some of the hardest working and team-oriented people while working for Conservative Care.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
This company has grown very quickly in a short amount of time, so there will always be growing pains as the company learns how to adapt to changes and needs. Because occupational medicine is always an ongoing thing, there are times where our clinics will just always be busy; you get a lot of experience, but it is a fast-paced environment most of the time.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company is working towards becoming more connected, which has been harder to do due to the multi-state clinics that we have. Leadership is working to find better ways to have employees and clinics stay connected with each other, so that community aspect is growing. Most, if not all, of the clinics are focused on teamwork and cross-training; many of our clinics are smaller, single provider clinics, so the teams are small and rely heavily on each other for support. Development and growth are continual values that the company strives to have; there have been many employees who were able to get additional certifications that the company helped to provide.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
There is a consistent stream of patient flow for most of the day at any given clinic. There is always something to do and it is very rare for you to ever feel bored while at work.

The doctor and PA were both fantastic and down to Earth. The lack of management and training was a major downfall. You are trained quickly on a fourth of the job that you are expected to do. If you have questions, they have you call people out of state because nobody in this region has a clue how to answer even some of the basics. If you are performing testing that can lead to someone losing their career, you should be fully trained and competent, and multiple people were not. The “trainer” lacked in her own training and should not have been in that role. Pay was good but zero challenge other than the frustrations.

This company has zero oversight or supervision of staff at their KC/Lenexa locations. Staff turnover is high which leaves providers without the support they need. In addition they have one of the worst EMR systems ever. Been told multiple times that they will fix the issues but they never do. Very disappointed with my experience at this company. 

Very cliquey work environment. Family supervising family. Hostile work environment of you do not sacrifice your personal time for others. Constant griping and moaning. High turnover. Save yourself the headache unless you really need the money. Poor pay. 
Great practitioners however.
