They can not make up their minds if they want you to work at home or work at the call center. Training is five days; they make you read some things and practice doing returns, etc. It says not remote here, the next time this job posting goes up, it will say fully remote. If you want job security with absolutely no supervision, this is the job for you. There is a week after training called the nesting period. I was told I had to go into the call center for this period. It's five days, ok not a problem, but I didn't have anyone to watch my daughter. When I asked if I could flip weeks and do it the following week or do it at home, they said no to both. At the last minute, something pulled through, and I was able to go.
However, when talking to a coworker, I found out that she was able to do her nesting period at home. This did not make me happy. I stressed so much about this. They can be flexible; they just choose not to. When I was at the call center, for nesting, I was introduced to a supervisor, she was very friendly and helpful, but around 3 pm she was nowhere to be found. Another girl and I had some questions that needed quick answers. We both kept looking for her; she had ended her shift with no announcement to anyone that she was leaving. They do have a chat room that you can ask questions in. However, those questions are never answered promptly, if at all. So basically, these people do not care whether you come or go, if you are doing your job right or not. They don't care to answer your questions or give you a clear direction. This is by far the worst company I have ever worked for. I will say this; you can slide under the radar so easily; as long as you say nothing to anyone, they will forget you even exist. This means job security for you. Nobody was mean to me or angry; they just simply do not care about anything. Don't expect anyone to remember your name or anything about you. That being said, my feelings are neutral. Takeaways: if you are looking for a job that is going to challenge you, this is not it. 2. As long as you say nothing, they will forget you exist. 3. Ok in between job. 4. Don't expect anything from them at all. 5. 11 dollars an hour 6. Very long hours. 7. Forget about family time; you get two days a week off, not consistently, things seem to be pretty non-negotiable so don't expect the to work with you. 8. They don't fire anyone. The only way you leave is if you quit.

If you want to feel like you are being tormented-  then just work here.

1.HR and the company lie through their teeth...I was told that a breathing issue would not be an issue in the workplace as far as not having to breathe poisonous chemicals...then once in there they said that I needed to tell them it was a disability.- which makes no sense since asking that is illegal...and disability or not they said it would not be a problem. Trash.

2. Unsafe work environment-  ambulances drive up to the location so frequently for people getting sick from the stress or poisons in the air (heavy carpet chemical cleaners, along with heavy perfume, air fresheners in the bathrooms, etc) that people no longer pay it any attention. Had a supervisor with asthma have multiple asthma attacks in the workplace due to people spraying perfume right around others, along with the carpet cleaning.

3. Toxic Culture runs on demeaning and abusing employees to try and get what they want.

4. Extremely High Turnover- All the people except one from my original training class quit or were fired(they make up reasons if they just do not like a person), including the supervisor who apparently quit after they would not give her the days off she earned

5. They told me I could not work from home, then when Covid happened a couple days later all of sudden everyone was working from home.

Complete trash in HR that runs it, along with the apparent higher ups at the company that do nothing to change it. They would play loud vulgar rap and other music so loud that people can not even hear to make their calls.

Very, very, very abusive workplace....stay far away and do yourself a favor of not wasting your hard work and integrity for a company that will not honor you and treat you with respect.


The scores on here had the most scores for a 1- from  68 people - yet somehow their overall score shows a 2.9- Indeed appears to be rigging this....this place does not even rate a 1- it should a negative -100!!!!!

I worked at Contact US LLC for a year and, unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. As someone who values inclusive workplaces, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of support for neurodiverse employees, particularly those on the autism spectrum.

From the outset, it was clear that the company does not prioritize creating an environment where everyone feels understood and respected. There was little to no training for management on how to engage constructively with neurodiverse individuals, leading to misunderstandings and a lack of necessary accommodations. Instead of fostering an inclusive culture, I found many instances where sensory sensitivities and individual needs were dismissed.

The workplace culture itself was toxic, characterized by rumors, bullying, and a general lack of support among colleagues. It was disheartening to see coworkers treated poorly, which created an environment of fear and anxiety. Instead of collaboration and teamwork, there was competition and discontent, making it challenging to feel motivated or engaged in my role.

Additionally, the high turnover rate became evident as many employees left feeling undervalued and unappreciated. It’s evident that management is not responsive to employee concerns, which only exacerbates issues within the team, leading to low morale and productivity.

Overall, I cannot recommend Contact US LLC to anyone, especially those who are looking for an inclusive and supportive workplace. If you value a healthy work environment that prioritizes respect and understanding for all employees, I would strongly advise seeking opportunities elsewhere.

On the daily I engaged with agents and leadership and the client. My direct manager did not appreciate that and she tried to keep me and the other Supervisors out of the client's eyes as much as possible. I got kudos from everyone else on how well I engaged and led people.

This company cannot keep people. What is ridiculous is I had ONLY 3 agents...in a 40 agent sized call center floor. It was so dead, no music, no fun etc.

If you want to be management, be prepared to get micromanaged from upper management and above. Also be prepared to not get recognition for having great metrics or engagement. If you want to be an agent, then sadly this sentiment is the same.

This is the only business I have been a manager at (and I have managed many places) where you can be less than 90 days tenured as an agent and be put on a PIP. For anyone who may or may not know, a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) basically means you need drastic improvement in 30 days or you can be fired. They did this to newer people when that should have been reserved for the industry standard which is 90 day tenure and above.

THE CEO AND DIRECTORS DO NOT EVEN GO ON SITE MORE THAN A HALF DAY EVERY 2 WEEKS. They do not say Hi to anyone.

Oddest place and most awful place I ever worked. Agents and Supervisors get only 3.33 hours PTO PER MONTH. That is the worst accrual rate I have ever seen for a place that offers PTO. That is not even a whole week per year.

I worked at ContactUs for a long enough amount of time and learned a lot. I also went in knowing what to expect and with a purpose as should you if you are going in as anything above agent. This is a great place to gain experience and gain it fast. You will work with a lot of work groups which is a bonus. Management is not perfect by any means but tries most of the time. Expectations need to be discussed earlier. A habit has formed of letting you figure it out until you mess up then you get reprimanded and coached. Expectations are not clearly set. Communication lacks. Executive team has been going through a phase of making themselves less and less accessible (locked doors, closed access). Chain of command is in full effect / not really open door. Document everything (you should do that anyway). Yes there are bed bugs, I personally have seen 10+ but it is not an infestation, still be careful. Be weary of some of the execs as they are shady but smile in your face. Perception matters more than reality. Very easy to get overworked so know how to have work life balance. I do not regret my time there. My biggest piece of advice is read all reviews, 80% are true, take them as they are (a new company) and be willing to handle ANYTHING. Extremely high turn over Rate. 

The parking is horrible. Every other business got their parking lot paved except ContactUs. 

I respect the high exec team when it was getting crazy busy because they all jumped in to learn an account and take calls and emails. That is something you won’t see everywhere. 

They have a high turnover rate in Supervisor, trainer, and account manager level. The agents can be rough and you need to know how to deal with them.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I worked with this company for 3 months, always on time didn’t miss any time or days. Even though sales was not my thing the company I was contracted with let me go, they let me go as well. This is a sad company to work for as they could care less if they had another job for you even tho they told me they would look and let me know. I was wrong a year later and still did not hear from anyone. Btw the company I was contracted with expected to have at least 75% of your calls needed to have sales! I’m sorry you can force someone to make ppl buy a product if they don’t want to. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Getting sales with the company they contract you out to… pushed you to sell and no one not anyone in America should have to worry about losing their job if they have 1 week of bad sales… well I was supposed to be on a 6 week get better program and they let me go in 2 weeks of that…. Also they don’t pay you your vacation time either.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
My supervisor was amazing but the company management could care less if a employee has feelings 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I liked my job it was fun to interact with customers. But after about a month the stress of them pushing to make sales is what needs to stop… it was a company over seas and most over seas companies are communist… so keep this in mind before wanting to work for their company

I started with Contacus last Monday for their work from home position. I quit yesterday. I spent the week in training. It was the absolute worst week of training I’ve ever had with a company in my life. The training started out horrible as many of us had system issues, which are expected on day one, however what’s not expected is it taking all day or even into the next for the IT department to call you back! That being said I pretty well missed day one and some of day two. I’m a hands on learner. I can’t follow along by listening to someone read from a screen I can’t even see! Moving along... we were told our training was two weeks at a certain schedule only to be told nope. Not the case at all. On week two we were on our own with a completely different schedule. They cram everything into five days including multiple tests, along with the system issues and there just isn’t enough time devoted to the most important part of the job... LEARNING it! Not to mention how many times I reached out to my trainer for help and was completely ignored. So no... in my opinion, and yes, we all have one, based on this experience, I would not recommend this company. At least not at this time. Perhaps I’ll try again at a later date? Who knows. All I can say for sure is I’ve never known so much anxiety and fear over starting a job as I did Monday morning or how much relief I felt when I made that embarrassing yet satisfying phone call saying I’m sorry but I must sever employment! The decision is yours!!! Good luck



There are better options for call center work than this place. A lot of unprofessionalism between client areas.. Floor is a large area with no noise or sound dampening. Voices Echo and disturb others on calls. Everyone is aware it's disturbing but standard low cube walls do not absorb cross over chatter. Parking lot foul language is common including near fist fights between work "friends". 
CEO doesn't speak to employees, not even a hi or how are you..Other upper management individuals choose to follow same unfriendly behavior pattern.
One client manager was actively keeping several employees (whom all had awful phone calls and would hang up on callers daily) as his "casual dates". He also seemed to allow race as a factor for any promotion to a new job or move to second level support. 
A company whose policy to terminate anyone who hangs up on a caller would only execute this option with certain people and the ones in good with management with bad daily hang ups often retained their jobs.
There are some good people here and I'm not sure why they stay.
Paperwork to HR seemed to always gets lost or never made it to HR from manager.
Company is sprayed for "bugs" often. Chairs, cubical desks, chairs.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I really enjoyed the company when I worked for Belk as a customer service representative. However, they sent that job over to Africa so I was transferred over to TNC carrier. I really enjoyed working with the members but the job was not so great. They would post policy changes in the teams channel and if you was not there that day you did not see it. They posted a policy change back in Aug. They did not say the reason for the change. I forgot all about the change and referred a member to contact their insurance and I was terminated over it. I had never had a write up or anything and had work for Contact Us for 4 years. I am in shock. I could understand getting a write up over it but to get fired over forgetting is ridiculous! I guess you are not allowed to make mistakes working for TNC even though the sups make them every day! 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Keeping up with all the policy changes. Changes that are not even listed in the hand book. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Belk was a great job and a great work environment. TNC Carries was horrible! You would ask for help in the channels and you would have to wait over an hour with angry customers on the line! 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was very chaotic at TNC carriers.

They don't adequately train their employees. The training process entails a week-long training class of strictly reading material. The training classes span from 1:30pm to 10pm!! YES, 10 PM. For 5 days. Of this 40 hour training schedule, about 30 minutes are dedicated to hands-on training. Not 30 minutes per day. 30 minutes per week of hands on training. That 30 minutes is the only real training for the job you receive before they throw you into a desk and say good luck. I don't know who would learn anything that way, but cool. The training teachers are very courteous but they are given the worst curriculum ever. All anyone ever talks about is how much they hate it there. THEY DON'T HAVE RUNNING WATER OR A FUNCTIONING BATHROOM INSIDE THE BUILDING. They had to rent a portable bathroom facility. It's in a tiny trailer behind the company building. It's getting cold being that its November and in order to access this "rest room", you have to walk around the building, outside. I was in the restroom and this girl looked at me and said "sorry, I'm not washing my hands- it's too cold out there." We don't have our own assigned computers, those germs are all over the keyboards, phones, etc. All because they don't have a functioning bathroom. There's also a rule against hanging up and apparently there's an infamous caller that frequents their phone lines named THE PANTY GUY. So... there's that, too.
