What is the best part of working at the company?
The pay was decent. It was close to my house.  Other than that nothing. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Where do I begin? This was the most stressful job I’ve ever had. And it’s not that it’s a difficult job to do. They are constantly short staffed and don’t care how busy it is. Patients wait for hours to be seen and then, if they do get admitted, they wait hours to be taken to a bed. They don’t care about the patients and patients are constantly wanting to leave, ultimately getting petitioned during the intake process because it’s taking so long. Most of the staff just sit around, ordering takeout food and talking while patients are waiting to be seen. Staff is very judgmental of patients, and lack compassion and understanding. There’s a major lack of communication and support from upper management. Everybody tells you something different on how things should be done. It’s very chaotic and unorganized. There were many days. I just wanted to walk out of there. Nobody offers to help when I was clearly overwhelmed and swamped with people wanting to check in. They expect the receptionist to check people in, and do Q15s on the people waiting in the back. Rarely did they have back up help. There are not enough clinicians doing assessments, and the nursing staff is overwhelmed. Again, nobody seems to care and I was always worried about the patient’s safety. When I tried to intervene. I was told not to worry about it, they’re fine. There is no way I would ever recommend anybody working there or seeking help there. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stressful, unorganized, and very cliquish.

This hospital does not care about their patients or the people that are on the frontlines serving and caring for the patients that line their wallets and help put down payments on their new high-end vehicles.  Leadership sits in their office, never to be seen on the floor or engaging with their front line workers. Suggestions and concerns fall on deaf ears. There is zero room for growth and false promises made continuously. This place will suck your passion and energy out of your soul and leave you feeling burnt out and heartbroken. It truly is the most toxic place I’ve ever worked. If you're looking for a great place to work with a healthy culture, leadership that wants to see you succeed as an individual and professional, opportunity for growth and advancement and one with an environment for you to practice your expertise with support and autonomy…this is not it.  There are much much better places out there.

The place picks and chooses which policies and procedures they follow. The housekeepers are always under staffed. The patient bathrooms sometimes go weeks at a time without being cleaned despite dried vomit, feces, and toilets not working properly. Patient outdoor trash, and ashtrays are usually overflowing with garbage, and cigarette butts. They're consistently accepting inappropriate, sick patients that consistently put staff at risk- health wise, or physical danger. Poor, or inconsistent, orientation of many of the duties pertaining to the job. More emphasis is put on cleaning than patient care due to the lack of housekeeping. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
This place was good to work for at. But later on, it just plain sucked the life out of me. It was a lot of things that make me say that this place sucks. It's more like a cattle herding place.  The patients know what to say to get in and the employees have to play nice even when they don't want to or they are being mistreated or verbally threatened. Don't even apply.

Everything this place has you do is stressfull.

not good place to work. no culture.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
i worked night shift. passed meds and kept my patients alive

Working with the patients was rewarding and incredible experience. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The surmountable , and overwhelming case management work, multiple treatment plans due in a single day, multiple groups needed to be run, notes to be completed by the end of the day , responding to codes .. this is expected a therapist , working with 24 different patients daily.

Stressful, under supported, undervalued, severely understaffed 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I worked 12 hrs a day , ate lunch at my desk and still struggled to keep up despite this ..

Go into it eyes wide open .....
Keep boundaries for your own personal time .
With the constant under staffing and misuse of overtime it was out of control due to high turn over ratio with staff and the schedules being changed constantly and then not being notified of any schedules via email ,or text, or call . lots of miscommunication from D.O.N to Scheduling 

Must remind yourself daily that you are their for the compassion of another mans struggle. 
That was the rewarding part of the job my friends..

The most challenging aspect of the job was gaining acceptance into the tightly-knit clique that governed the social dynamics of the workplace. From the moment I stepped through the doors, their disdain for my background was palpable. They weaponized my past, weaving a web of falsehoods about me that spread like wildfire among the staff. As whispers grew louder, others seemed eager to join in the effort to undermine my position, crafting elaborate schemes to get me dismissed. It felt like an uphill battle against a relentless tide of animosity, where every interaction became laced with suspicion and hostility..

Management is good, but sometimes lacks consistency. There are some leaders that put in a lot of hard work and appreciate staff, while others just skate by, just like some of the staff. Compensation is ok, but the hard workers don't get any additional appreciation/compensation. A 2% increase each year is not much in this market nor is it competitive. For the work that is done, the pay needs to be much higher. Pay your top performers in management and on the floor. They deserve it. Culture is great, but consistency needs to happen. Rules are rules and they're bent for some and not for others.

Management including DON Jan and Jeff CEO are spiteful. They care about getting their bonus at the end of the year. They don’t care about patient or staff safety. They are the worst type of corporate losers you could work for. They get mad when they can’t control supervisors or staff like puppets. They don’t discipline people that aren’t doing their jobs. 

Floor RN and PCAs are amazing and really do their best to provide optimal care for patients. 

The therapy department tries to do their best to provide group therapy but are constantly understaffed due to poor management. Groups are cancelled all the time. 



This place says that it cares about their patients. They do not, they care about out money.  I heard by multiple patients that nurses were rude to them and uncaring. Management talks about their employees behind their backs. HR is a joke, didn’t feel comfortable going to them with a complaint because I knew it would fall of deaf ears. Some of the therapist I think truly care but others like the lead therapist is uncaring and not supportive for other therapist or patients.
