 I utilized leadership by walking around the facility to ensure every day  practices, uses of their systems and monitoring outcomes regularly with an eye watchful for opportunity to improve care.  On a daily a basis I would attend the daily stand up morning meetings with all department supervisors, daily revenue meetings while maintaining the PPS RUG tracking worksheets for updates and review the payer aging summary reports.  I would monitor and log the 
weekly census and staffing reports based on employees total hours, actual PPD, budget PPD, and variance PPD.  I applied action plans and in-services for staff members to ensure proper protocols and techniques were being utilized.  I created and implemented programs and events, which reach the general community for the purpose of creating facility name recognition, positive facility image and community good will towards the facility.  

The corporate culture of Creative Solutions in Healthcare is grounded in the golden rule and Christian ethic of, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

 I have learned that operating under this golden rule is key for providing superior quality of care to those of the senior community. As the Administrator in Training/Marketer for Creative Solutions in Healthcare and Southern Specialty, I am dedicated to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all their residents and to always practice dignity first through the provision of superior quality of care in a “home-like” environment for  those in need(s) of skilled health care service(s).  

 We developed and enhanced a professional team that is adequately trained, licensed and certified to handle everything from the medically challenged resident who may need to be discharged from the hospital but still requires a higher level of medical care to the self-reliant resident who only needs minimal medical assistance in health care needs.  We  are  committed to delivering uncompromising excellence in short and long term care to the residents which is covered under the Medicaid and Medicare programs.

Connecting and caring for the residents and family members is very rewarding after confirmation of testimonials for satisfaction on stellar provisions of skilled nursing services in an utmost "home-like" environment.  I would have to concur that losing a resident is one of the hardest parts of the job in long term care.  




  

I have worked for Creative Solutions twice--once ten years ago and now, once again. I left the first time because my job was an  hour and a half away from home and a job ten minutes from home arose.   This year,  the previous company sold to Creative Solutions and I couldn't be more satisfied and happy with the way things have transitioned.  We have just passed the change of ownership and with my new Area District Regional, we continue to move forward in a calm and steady manner.  Her style is relaxed and confident and is just what I need to perform my job well.   She understands the job we are trying to do and supports us through her efforts of gentle guidance and firm principals of previous success in the long term care industry.   All the corporate staff are supportive.  The owner and CEO, is a devoted owner and leader with 18 plus years in the industry and there are few who can compare to his open, honest, sincere and hands on care for his staff and the cherished residents of his homes.   He understands the elderly and their needs and he goes out of his way to provide us with the necessary people, software and tools to become successful ourselves.   I couldn't do it without a great team which is now in place at our facility and I can do it even better with the strong and benevolent hand of leadership of the owner.and those loyal to him provide us.  And there is something to be said for an individual to whom many claim loyalty.   It is truly a daily pleasure and honor to work under our owner and the loving umbrella of Creative Solutions in Healthcare.

I have worked for Creative Solutions for over 4 years and I love this company!!! They are successfully growing by leaps and bounds but still operate like a small company. 

Creative Solutions offers their facilities a wide range of support, ensuring their facilities are successful and can provide a high quality of care to all residents. Creative Solutions is an innovator in the skilled nursing home industry. The nursing home industry is constantly changing with new regulations and processes and Creative Solutions ensure that we are ahead of the game and train all of their employees on any changes that are coming so we are never operating from behind and trying to catch up to the standard. We set the standard for all nursing homes and nursing home companies. Creative Solutions other initiatives include a high standard of cleanliness with corporate support to achieve and maintain the standard. Our dietary departments cannot be beat. Most facilities under Creative Solutions are licensed to offer certified angus beef and have a higher raw food budget to provide high quality meals to our residents. 

Creative Solutions has provided me the training, mentorship and support to help grow me into the employee I am today and I look forward to the opportunity to continue to grow with them.

This facility operates under constant stress due to poor cleanliness standards, inconsistent oversight, and a workplace culture that prioritizes appearances over accountability. 

The facility administrator consistently failed to address fundamental issues related to resident safety. Concerns raised by staff regarding care standards and workplace conditions were routinely minimized, deferred, or dismissed rather than escalated appropriately or addressed with urgency and accountability. 

Resident care was often compromised by understaffing and lack of responsiveness. Residents were regularly left unattended for extended periods, conflicts between residents occurred without timely intervention, and basic requests, such as assistance going outside for a break were frequently unmet due to lack of available support.

Overall, this was the most difficult and ethically challenged workplace I have experienced. The combination of neglectful practices, toxic leadership dynamics, and lack of genuine concern for resident well-being made the role unsustainable.

It’s not the worst long-term care company I have ever worked with. I have seen worst. Speaking of leadership, the corporate management and the regional staff were not neutral and supportive in providing their expert advice. To them, it’s about power to pull all over your head. Guess what? Whose run the buildings? The PEOPLE. Consider to be the consultants and not to intervene the daily operations like they do. Listen to the facility management more please. They have a lot to do and are lack of time to deal with unproductive employees’ complaints related to their supervisor when they didn’t show up for work or to refuse covering someone’s shift.
Speaking of compensation, they are probably one of the lowest in the industry, but the good thing is they do offer annual raises. Staff expect 3% no matter what their performance has been. No doubt. Honestly most of them deserve it. This company doesn’t offer PTOs until you have worked like a year or so. Health insurance is about the same as other LTC homes. Their buildings got a lot of maintenance issues. 
Over expanding to the largest in Texas and not much funding left for anything…


Typical day is a.m. computer, resident care, assisting employee's with resident care, dr's appts. grocery shopping, updating all charts, and ensuring building is always State ready.
I have learned so many things but one of the most important thing is to keep up with your regulations and keep your staff educated and in-serviced.
I feel I have a good staff and co-workers.  I want us to work as a team and  provide the Highest Quality of care to our residents.
The hardest part of the job is getting people to come to work and having them understand the importance of their duties due to keeping infection control as a high propriety.
The most enjoyable part of my job is knowing that I have made a difference in someone's life with a smile or just by being by their side.  My residents are the most precious part of the day!

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is not a bad company in itself. In fact, it has a lot of positive benefits that really can make the difference for someone that needs a good opportunity. The company would do well to reach out to employees that quit, or are terminated, and perform exit interviews. This company has facilities with excellent potential. 
The company fails to realize that a simple $1-$2 raise on the pay scale would not only solve their staffing issues, mean the world to all of their employees, but it would still be astronomically less than the expense of paying agency. It's not just about money either; everyone regardless of their position within the facility- deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. This is simply not the case at our local facilities. The moment corporate walks through the door, everyone scrambles to ensure the facility is in tip top shape and puts on a fake smile. My biggest recommendation is for corporate to either conduct interviews.. or send someone undercover to work in their own facilities. 

FRANKLIN NURSING HOME IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO WORK!!
I have been in long term care all my life and hope that this message will at least get you to take a look at this company.  They are doing amazing work building new state of the art assisted livings and skilled nursing homes.   During the last few months many people have asked me how I have kept doing this job?  The answer is pretty simple;  I am blessed enough to work at Franklin Nursing Home with an outstanding team managed by Creative Solutions in Healthcare. Franklin Nursing Home is a great place for those who want to be apart of an experienced group of employees.  We have CNAs and Nurses who have been working here over  30 years.   As for the rest of the department head leadership seniority range more than 25 years.

Look elsewhere. I worked in corporate and saw many terrible things behind this company. The corporate team thinks very highly of themselves and you can tell this in the way they treat others. The way management and corporate spoke of each other and other employees was highly unprofessional and actually a bit gross. There were awful things spoken of people with disabilities. I witnessed too many HR violations to report. The company cannot keep people around long enough to establish proper plans and procedures so they put expectations on the newest person to be able to come in and fix everything with no guidance or proper training. The nursing staff is so overwhelmed and underpaid that abuse and elopements are rampant in every facility. You can feel the low morality and sadness when you walk into these places. If you care about yourself or your family, stay away from these facilties. 

I have never worked in a place so horrible. The pay is horrible 
The ADON and the cna transportation aide are horrible to people who r not in their click. The rules only apply to employees who don’t hang out with them. The staff r constantly back stabbing each other. The residents are not a priority by any means. Residents have to beg for help and then the staff talk horribly about them. Corporate are horrible and pick at the staff non stop. The pay is not worth the headache and stress. The only good thing about this place is the residents. They can’t keep staff horrible turn over. The pay is horrible and the so called benefits are a joke. The insurance is so expensive you can’t afford it. I would think long and hard before working here. Don’t let the promises fool you they say anything to get u hired and not stand by their word. Run, run far away
