I was an employee for almost 6 years when I finally opened my eyes and saw what a joke this place was.

I worked for 3 different departments within the company and saw how differently each of them were treated by management. 

For starters, the people I worked with on an day to day basis were PHENOMENAL. Even my direct supervisors and office managers were amazing. Any time there was an issue, they truly had an open door policy. If you're looking to find life-long friends, this is a GREAT place to work. 

If you don't wan't to be micromanaged by upper management while being worked like a dog, doing 10 different jobs with minimal pay and terrible raises, this is not the place to be. The last department I worked for (physical therapy), I basically did anything and everything that didn't require a license or certification, from reception, to call center, to referral coordinator to PT tech. Literally a jack-of-all-trades.   Upper management is so concerned about the department making money, they put a "quota" for the therapists to hit per patient in terms of billing (I believe it was 5 units per hour). They were working like dogs, putting in long hours, double booking patients, seeing patients during their admin-time, just to help their numbers. Our therapists are GREAT, but it's not fair to them, or anyone in the department to get worked as much as we did. The turnover rate in the department was unbelievable. People are just up and quitting because they're getting tired… both physically and mentally. I can't even begin to count the number of times I've left work in tears of pure exhaustion.

Raises were MAYBE 15-20 cents a year, which didn't even help the cost of living, especially seeing how taxes keep going up and up (which is out of everyone's control), but every year, my paychecks kept getting smaller and smaller.

DuPage Medical Group only cares about one thing…. the money in their pockets. They don't care about their employees or even their patients as much as they say they do in their slogans. Their customer service is a total joke. Anyone that works at their main office in Downers Grove off Highland Oaks does not care about you. They're becoming way too big and think the little people are replaceable. 

The health insurance is terrible. Nothing like being told you can only go to a DuPage Medical Group facility with a $3000 deductible or an HMO that takes half your paycheck away just for the premiums alone. 

The plus side is they do have a tuition reimbursement!! The catch is that you have to pass your classes with a "B" or higher in the class, and they'd only cover classes that will help your career within the company, AND you have to be there for a year after they pay you back for the classes or else they make you pay it back, AND they do not cover the expenses for books, AND your classes cannot affect your work schedule. I believe it was up to $2,500 they'd reimburse you.

They stopped the lunches that the vendors were providing to other offices too earlier this year. 

If DMG is requiring you to wear a uniform (both radiology and physical therapy did), they would provide you a small stipend of $100 if you were a full time employee ($50 if you worked 15-30 hours, and nothing if you worked less than 15 hours), and anything over that $100, you'd have to cover. The clothes were so cheap and you'd MAYBE only get a polo or 2 out of that stipend. At least REPLACE the clothes at the expense of the company if it's required. Who has that kind of money, especially with how terrible DuPage Medical Group pays. Even getting a "perfect" review resulted in MAYBE a 15 cent raise- and that's if you're lucky enough to get good scores (the company feels that nobody should get a "perfect" review since there's ALWAYS room for improvement).

Morale is so low. Employees are not caring about their jobs like how they should because they're not appreciated by upper management. Everyone is micromanaged- if I was ever sick, I'd have to provide a doctors note, even if it was just for 1 day (whether or not I used vacation or personal time). If there's an issue, upper management will not do anything to help out their employees. I was originally hired as an MA, but then got thrown into a call center. When I asked HR about it, all they could say was "It's up to the manager to place their employees where they see fit". So just because you're hired for something, doesn't mean you'll actually be doing that job.

If you REALLY need a job, give it a shot- that is, if you're "good enough" in the company's eyes. Some of the people they hire…. you can't help but wonder what they did during the interview that landed them the job, especially seeing their work ethic. 


DuPage Medical Group- "we don't care for you".

I can only write about my overall experience with DuPage Medical. My position (do not wish to impose my view points for others whom I worked with) went down hill when Radiology Transcription was taken away from Radiology. I loved my job (99.9% of the time). We were then passed on to general transcription, whom of which had no idea what radiology transcription did or was all about.

From there (within about a year and half or so) my job was dissolved due to the Voice Recognition soft ware, which was inaccurate and I knew this due to editing some of the reports. (sure hope the doctors have had time to edit their reports because the soft ware could not even get the body parts correct). All of a sudden the radiology transcriptionists met their professional demise.

I felt fortunate in that I was offered a job in another department and I was excited about it. Unfortunately, the longer I was in the department, the more I knew that I did not have the background or expertise to succeed there, neither for the patients that depended on me for the right answers or the department itself. I also had a personal injury during the first two months and I had to take a family leave). After I returned from family leave things only got worse for me and the realization that I just was not catching on. After a lot of thought and being a bundle of nerves, I quit. My manager kept my best interests in mind and accepted my resignation but invited me to apply for other jobs within DuPage Medical that I thought would fit in better with my past job experiences. Keeping in mind that I had 30+ years in the medical/clerical fields I applied for approximately 15 jobs at DuPage Medical that I felt qualified to do. HOW FOOLISH OF ME TO THINK THAT THIS WAS A SERIOUS INVITATION AND THAT HUMAN RESCOURCES WOULD HONOR IT.

I WAS TURNED DOWN FOR EVERY ONE OF THEM, stating: "We have carefully reviewed your qualifications and experience, together with those of other applicants. We have selected for further consideration several other applicants whose background is more closely related to our current needs. As a result, we regret to inform you that you are not being actively considered for this position. Best wishes in your career search". HOW HEART WARMING!

Several positions are still posted to this day.

You are quite welcome for the 7+ years that I contributed, the training of other employees and the suggestions that I made within the department, as well for the kick I got at the end of my career here with you.

A typical day would be answering many phone lines at once while trying to juggle checking in/out patients along with making follow up appointments. Also trying to other duties which suffered and then was reprimanded because could not get to other duties efficiently due to doing other people's jobs. A few of my co-workers were nice but most of them were brown nosers to the management which is severely lacking in my department. My manager gave these brown nosers perks and privileges for being her spies. All the good people in the department constantly were reprimanded or written up while all the bad people in the department were highly commended for doing nothing. Management and upper management in this company is a complete joke. Upper management always displaying "thanks for all you do making our company a success and making our company a profit". Do they offer their employees any of the perks of that profit? NO. They do make sure they go on to tell their employees "don't worry your jobs are safe, our company is rising to the top." No raises or bonuses but thanks for giving me a bonus and allowing me to drive my fancy car. In other words thanks for doing all your hard work, I'm enjoying reaping all the benefits from your hard work. The company motto is "we care for you", this statement is a complete joke it is not even true. Most of the companies employees and patients are leaving because of how UNTRUE this statement really is, they care about one thing only the bottom line - the all mighty DOLLAR. They don't care that their patients are going elsewhere because DuPage Medical Group really doesn't care about anybody but themselves. They have proven this fact over and over again. This is a company that pays their employees peanuts but are making millions, TRUE MILLIONS! They cannot even afford to give their employees a cost of living raise? An absolute complete joke of a company! Too many flaws to even put into one paragraph!

Around 6 years of experience in analyzing, designing, tuning, and developing Business Intelligence (BI) database applications using MS SQL Server 2012/2008R2/2008, SQL Server Integration, Reporting and Analysis Services in Finance, Banking, and Healthcare domains.

•	Experience using ER Win Data modeling tool to design and implement Logical and Physical models of various Relational Databases.
•	Worked on accommodating and facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, documented, analyzed, and synthesized the results as a part of the business requirements. 
•	Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse methodologies, including Dimensional Data Modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension Tables, worked with high volume databases with partitioned data.
•	Proficient in writing T-SQL queries for creating Tables, Stored Procedures, Views, Indexes, Triggers, User Defined Functions, Relational Database Models and Data Integrity in observing Business Rules.
•	Worked on mapping documents creation as well as development for Data migration, data import, Initial and Incremental load.
•	Proficient in using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to build Data Integration and Workflow Solutions, Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions for Data warehousing applications.
•	Involved in all activities related to the development, implementation, administration and support of ETL processes for large-scale Data Warehouses using Bulk Copy Process (BCP), Bulk Insert, and SSIS and creating Master-Child Packages in SSIS using Kimball methodology.
•	Adept in SSIS direct and indirect configuration (XML, SQL Server) set up, SSIS audit and logging, error handling, and performance tuning of SSIS Packages

Duly is a large company and your experience may vary heavily depending on your location, management, coworkers, etc. In my experience the work I do is fairly easy and straight forward, and the compensation compared to what I do is good. Other clinics for the same medical assistant position may have significantly more work/responsibilities in comparison to my location, and in that case the pay may not be as appropriate. PTO is awarded at the beginning of the year at 138 hours, with a small amount accrued during the year. There are no dedicated sick days, personal time, or vacation time. PTO is use it or lose it within a calendar year with no "buy out" option. Benefits are okay to bad, especially compared to other healthcare systems you could work for. Health insurance is abysmal. Corporate is a mess. In my first 4 months I had 5 different managers cycle through before getting to my current. Promotions and raises have been nonexistent for me, and anecdotally from all of my coworkers, many of whom have been in their positions for multiple years. 

If I had to describe working for Duly, this is where you go if you need something on the resume to apply elsewhere. I wouldn't stay here longer for a year. Frankly if it wasn't doing this simply as a gap year job before medical school, that my location is so close to where I live with an underground climate-controlled parking garage, and that pharmaceutical reps come almost daily to cater lunch coffee, I would've been searching for a new job after a month. I believe that I have a significantly better experience than most would have, and I still would recommend looking elsewhere.

This was the worst job I have ever had. As a scheduler, you're constantly answering phone calls of frustrated and angry patients who want answers, quickly and thoroughly. As patients of DMG, you would think DMG would believe they deserve that, but we weren't allowed to call nurses to ask if they would talk to the patients. We always had to put in messages first. They never wanted to speak with patients, and we were the middle man between the doctors and the patients. They would just relay complicated messages through us, which would only frustrate the patients more. 

The whole system of appointment scheduling was poor. For example, a patient would schedule a follow up appointment 6 months in advance, as suggested by the doctor. Fast forward five months to May, and the clinic cancels because the doctor is going on vacation for 5 weeks. When the patient calls to reschedule because THE CLINIC cancelled, I was the one who had to tell the patient that they couldn't get another appointing until AUGUST. AUGUST. Of course the patients are going to be upset, and of course, since I was the one bringing the bad news, I was the one who got screamed at. This job literally made me an unhappy person. I would come home totally defeated and I dreaded going to work everyday. They totally bait and switch you during the training/interview process. 

I really wish I would have taken the other negative reviews on here seriously before I took a job with DMG. Please beware.

The CEO recently killed himself and the company, at least in the radiology department has fallen apart. Our director quit, along with multiple senior managers. This has caused chaos in many departments along with a great deal of policy changes. At this moment i would not recommend working with this company. There seems to be no clear direction, even before the untimely death of the CEO management was scattered and sometimes seemingly negligent. They are unwilling to budge or even listen to good suggestions about operational problems. I.e flooding in one of the buildings but no plans to take up the moldy rug. The management staff takes weeks to get back to you when you have valid issues and overall it seems as if they only care about pushing employees to the max for maximum returns. I know what you're thinking as a reader, "most companies only care about the bottom line" while that is true, this company also underpays by quite a bit. On the plus side it is out patient so you don't have a call week and you usually only have 1 weekend or 2 a month. That being said STAY AWAY. As a tech they will work you to the bone and say it is what is expected of you. You do not bonus here, and you have to do 3 jobs at once most times. You work as a front desk member, Radiology tech and scheduler. There is no support and this company is understaffed due to key members quitting and taking large chunks of the team with them. For now it is not a good place to work.

What is the best part of working at the company?
They have average benefits, they offer health insurance that if you use outside of their own providers will cost you a lot of money.
They are always short staffed.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Being short staffed all the time.
Top Management are fickle minded, can’t seem to decide and stick to it. 
They change rules every quarter.
These people in top management should just stay with being a doctor/s, a provider.
They should leave managing people to those who have management majors.
It seems they change the rules according to their whims not for the betterment of the employees and for smoother more productive workplace.
The health insurance coverage is not that good, unless you use it with their own provider.
People in upper management needs to observe what’s going on in the ground level. It seems they are out of touch most of the time, the reason why they have high turnover.
They give a yearly increase of 16 cents to 25cents, that’s why after the given increases, a number of clerk employees leave 😂, what a joke😂.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Below average.
Most employees have very low morale, there’s so much complaints, it’s unbelievable.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
My typical day is hearing a lot of complaints from co employees.

At this position, upon my arrival, I would re-review the schedule in the EMR in order to inform the physician of any scheduling changes that may have occurred since the previous day. I would then ready all of the diagnostic equipment as well as prepare the procedure room for the day. I worked with alternating physicians for whom I would room the patients, take vitals, gather pertinent information about the history of the patient's present illness, perform necessary diagnostic testing, and chart accordingly in the EMR system. I would assist in collecting specimens and preparing them for transport, administer injections per physician's order, set up surgical trays and assist with minor in-office surgical procedures. Another big part of the position was clerical work, preparing paperwork, faxing, answering phones, calling patients to inform them of their test results, etc. This was my first position working in the medical field outside of college. All of the physicians were very accommodating, approachable, and enjoyed educating staff about their specialty. I was very fortunate to be a part of such an amazing urology team and learned invaluable information.

All the management only cares about drama! You can NEVER find help from upper management when you need it. They all stand in a circle and gossip and sigh and roll their eyes when you ask for help. Most of the time when you ask for help they tell you to FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF!! There really is favoritism. I started the same day and went through the same orientation with 2 other people and they both were asked to train newer employees. When asked why I was not included I was told the others are simply better than me. Everytime you ask for a schedule change or a day off you are told no. EVERYTIME. That isn't just me, that was everyone. Their turn over rate was astronomical. You are given 3 minutes to use the bathroom. 3! If you go over the 3 minutes you are pulled into an office and told you need to explain why you are in the bathroom so long. When you tell them you have a drs. Appointment management GOES INTO YOUR PERSONAL MEDICAL CHART TO SEE IF THST IS TRUE!!  This is such an unprofessional business its not even funny. I heard the worst horror stories from other employees about how they were treated when they got sick and couldn't work. I was told if I needed to leave early one day because I had a family emergency that it would be a write up. To which I left and never came back! AGAIN DO NOT WORK HERE EVER!
