Must be the most toxic place to work in any IT organization within the Fortune 500. Information Technology is understaffed to save costs, and always trying to cut corners. There is high turnover, and Technology leadership is stretched too thin. There is a sense that everyone is looking for another opportunity. Those who are lucky enough to leave, are looked upon with jealously. Expect to work 60+ hours/weekends, with little appreciation from leadership.
There is good stress, and bad stress in any position. This is BAD stress, and the blame is always issued to the lowest or the nearest person. This place will change your personality for the worse, as one is always in the defensive frame of mind. There is a lack of leadership forgiveness, and emotional breakdown are a common scene. If there is one mistake is conducted, expect a reprimand/dismissal as the attitude is “everyone is expendable.”
One must justify “your value” every day to leadership, where a current employee tenure of a month can feel like a century. Prepare yourself for multiple, yet preventable, fire-drills a day, with leadership attitude of hurry up and wait. You will learn what not to do, both technically and culturally. Therefore, you can take your experience somewhere else to prevent the same pitfalls.
The internal attitude to potential interviewees is to not speak poorly about the company and/or how stressful the work environment…. Interviewers were found to subtly communicate to potential candidates the toxicity of the IT environment, resulting to unfilled positions.
A new CIO was on-boarded, and now everyone is concerned about job security. It doesn’t help with the recent private equity buyout. The entire IT team feels afraid of the situation and leadership, which doesn’t make it a collaborative environment. There is no opportunity to work remotely. If you are required due to an injury, please be prepared to provide medical documentation.
I didn’t realize my value of being underpaid (~30%) till I found a new position outside the company. If you are offered a position... run. If you do accept, be prepared for the offer to be rescinded as seen with many hires. Advice: Aggressively negotiate the pay rate and good luck. Envision always low balls to cut costs, and keep in mind- you are expendable to them.

This company is easy to be employed with HOWEVER if you aren't kissing up to management you will NEVER succeed! There are a select few that get by with doing absolutely NOTHING on a daily basis. One so called AR Supervisor consistently eats, is late to work everyday and acts like a spy to the other staff. I'm guessing that she has nothing better to do during the day. She is always on her cell phone and yet will run to the office manager if she sees anyone on theirs. The office manager is VERY unprofessional. She dresses as if she were working at a gas station. She cusses in front of the entire staff, she criticizes the staff in front of others, she talks negative towards the staff and about the corporate offices. She brings her personal life to work and pulls another employee in that's her favorite and talks for hours on end. When the weather is bad everyone is expected to be there but her! She's very inconsiderate to the staff. When they have personal issues going on she makes sure they are punished. 
The job is easy however the future is not so bright. You are told they will be downsizing and contracts are pulled at times so you will be filled with insecurities as to if you will continue having a job. 
The so called office manager will pick on an employee until they eventually quit or get fired if they are not a kisser upper. The corporate office should be called in for every morning management meeting and all office meetings.
The pay is horrible and the raises are based on how the office manager ranks you in her click. The Christmas bonus is also based on the office managers view of you and they only range from $25-150...what a joke!
You are promised many things and just be prepared those things will NEVER happen! 
This office has the worst work environment EVER! Good luck to you should you proceed with employment with this company!

If you love feeling ignored I would recommend working here.  Managers are very unprofessional, and tonal with the way they speak to you, the lapse in training is what made a lot of mistakes, YOU'LL BE TOLD ONE THING IN TRAINING and its the opposite when you're finish training, there are times when a caller needs a manager because no one is reaching out to them about a dispute for months, none of your coworkers or managers or supervisors will answer you or your calls or email for help, after trying to locate a couple of managers or liaisons that can help you with an issue, you'll get a call from a manager mins later about how you're calls are too long, yet you are locating someone to help you. I have heard managers pick up, quickly hang up and switch to offline if I call and ask for help.   Also didn't get trained on a huge portion because we were told we are Level 1's, and high levels handle that issue, got told off by a higher up because of what I was told on training( to email them), emailed my manager about clarification on my job title and if I can be trained on this issue, and was yet again ignored, had to leave this job for my mental health, and because I never gotten trained on that main issue in which I could not help the customer if they called. Sadly, this is all about getting the customer off the phone the fastest, any helping them in any way that takes long (which it will because their software is always freezing) they are upset, I loved helping the customers that called and finding the solution, the management is horrible.

My time at Envision Health Care (Access2Care) was very much a case of you make your own breaks as you are given a limited number of tools with even less oversight on how to use them in order to accomplish what can be a fairly vague job function. The autonomy can be liberating but you don't really feel part of a team or an overall corporate culture. Management was very absentee and only involved themselves if their own position was affected or at risk. It gave one the impression that you were expendable and could be thrown under the bus at any moment with little notice. 

By and large, co-workers were pleasant to work with even though all were in the same boat when it came to lack of direction or oversight. As such, we were able to collaborate and muddle through the red tape in order to get our jobs done. 

There was a good work/life balance with a fair amount of flexibility on schedules and time off. Salary and benefits were okay-given the industry probably a touch below the mean on both fronts. Opportunities to move up are very limited as the division I worked for  has a central leadership structure that loathes delegating responsibilities. 

I did enjoy the industry itself, the opportunity to network, and the chance to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged people though our work. That said, the vast majority of my enrichment was self-gained.

This is actually Guardian Healthcare but now they are calling themselves Envision. Pay is average to below average. Management doesn't bat an eye about getting rid of dedicated, knowledgeable employees. They will keep the ones around who know how to play politics. Don't ever go to management asking for assistance with a problem. They will either accuse you of being negative for talking about a problem or they will turn it around and blame you for it! They hold people accountable for things over which they have no control. They shift blame and look for a scapegoat. It's like being in a henhouse where all the chickens find one to pick on. That person leaves and they have to find a new person to single out. It's a really sick and TOXIC environment. If you don't mind manipulative people and you stay out of the games they play, you might survive there. If you don't get in one of the cliques though, you will probably be considered a threat and ostracized. Most people just want to do their work but management pits employees against each other. Whoever made the decision to change to the EMR they use now should never be allowed to make any decisions again. Did I mention they are RUDE and passive aggressive too? Good luck at this place. They talk a good talk to get you in but I never realized how mentally draining it was until I left. You get 3 days off if a close family member dies and they act like you are doing less than when you take a day off with vacation time you earned! I could go on and on....

Typical workday, at least at my site of NYP Queens, has no patient care and so my typical day at work is being a glorified secretary for the providers. I do not have day to day interactions with management, as even if we are working the same shift, there is no interaction with my coworkers. 

I have learned how to use EPIC, how to spell better, and how to type without looking at my hands. 

Management has rules in place for everyone but them. By this I mean, management will take the easiest shifts that are WFH and then not answer the providers when they call nor will they write the notes correctly. They even scheduled me for a harder shift when I only requested the easier shifts due to having to study for my MCAT. They will correct notes when they do not write them properly themselves. They also will try and push you to cover shifts, even after you say no. 

Culture is really up to what providers you work with. The ones at NYPQ are all super nice and the residents are really funny. 

Hardest part is the patient load in the pediatric unit as it will be super busy in the beginning of my shift, I work overnight, and then get really slow half the year by 3 AM. I would also say management and finding your own coverage. That is right, you find coverage for your shift and if it is not possible, then your shift is not filled for the night. It would be better if management would find the coverage

Most enjoyable is the providers as they talk to you and they are super nice and friendly. 

As a physician here, get ready to be screwed over anyway you can. The company only cares about profits, in my opinion. They offer the very lowest amount of malpractice they can by law. They change your hours at random and have no respect for you. Disagree with something? They will let you go for "reasons" and find someone else to replace you (I have seen this where I work). The contract is way more beneficial to them than you, including multiple clauses where they can fire you for simply not liking you. The strategy appears to be to flood the market with cheap providers (residents, PA's etc), and to make as much money as they can for their investors. They take a significant amount of money for "corporate profit," and pay you pennies. They take advantage of naive residents and low ball them salaries. It is unfortunate that they are pretty much everywhere and most times the only option. The "metrics" they have you follow are pretty much impossible. Sometimes, you can't discharge patients in under 2 hours due to, you know, their medical conditions. Envision "encourages" you to do so to make more money. If you don't follow their crazy metrics, the money goes to them. In my opinion a sham for them to take more money.

All and all in my opinion a company focused on profits over patients and staff. If you are a resident or provider, DO NOT WORK HERE! Private equity will find a way to screw you over.

This used to be a great place to work. In the past 3 years or so it has gone completely downhill and since covid started it's somehow gotten even worse. Management keeps employees in a constant state of anxiety. They have taken away all incentive and still say we are losing money and our jobs are in jeopardy. They put our annual raises on hold 2 years ago and we have heard nothing about it since. I have witnessed management yelling at employees in meetings because the employee asked a question they didn't want to answer. They hired overseas companies to do our jobs and now have us working mandatory overtime to fix overseas mistakes even though we warned them overseas was not doing things correctly YEARS ago. They still refuse to believe it is a problem and get irate when it is mentioned. They can't keep employees because they treat us like we are replaceable and now no one is even applying for the many positions we have open. Several people have left recently and there is no one for them to hire so they pile the extra work on whoever is left and still somehow manage to make us feel like we aren't doing enough for them. Everything that made this a great company to work for is gone and company moral is at an all time low. 

Management, as a rule, doesn't "do" deadlines. That doesn't mean you're not held to them anyway, though. You will be yelled at, belittled in front of your peers, and made afraid to do your job or think for yourself in any way. Management has no interest in improving processes which desperately need improvement, and is actively hostile towards any suggestions about how to do things better. You *will* be screamed at if you work in IT. How this place hasn't been sued into the ground for a hostile work environment yet is beyond me, but I guess with HR being as useless as they are, nobody ever hears about it.

On top of that, management is aggressively incompetent, and will vomit pure drivel at you any time you try to fix something or improve your work life. They will let you go without cause or severance, as well.

If you are granted an interview at Envision, do yourself a favor and run far, far away. They will chew you up, spit you out, and dance on your broken remains.

I worked for this company at the Port Columbus location for several years recently. I worked for this place full time for 5 years and at the END of five years full time I was making 10$ an hour!!. These are real numbers ! They don't post the pay for this position for a reason! You can not survive off of this wage and they have made it clear that there will be no pay increases anytime soon! You make less then half of all other fire departments in the area. Benefits are as equally terrible. You can't even gain experience here, since you only take 1 run a day. There is also zero opportunity for advancement. The only positive is that there are some good guys who work here but they are all trying to find other jobs. It is a revolving door of employees because you can't live off of the money. The company does not care about you as an employee they just need "warm bodies "
