Full Disclosure:  I am the wife of an executive at FFG.  I have a front row seat of exactly what goes into making a success of a company that runs on a tight airline schedule and where the highest standards of food quality and safety must be met, not day-by-day, but moment-to-moment.  One tiny mistake, whether in sanitation or labeling or anything else in-between, and thousands of dollars in wasted food and man-hours are lost forever, not to mention our standing in the eyes of our most highly valued customers--the international airlines. Unfortunately, it's been known to happen, and it hurts--a lot--in more ways than I can say in this short space.  Something an on-site employee might consider trivial and picky-picky, can, in fact, make the difference between a lost account and a loyal customer. I am very sympathetic to some of the employee complaints, especially those concerning cold temperatures (unavoidable)  and even those complaints about unresponsive ("clueless") supervisors.  Everyone should know that in recent months some major shaking up and waking up has been going on at the management level, and as a result, you will soon begin to notice a significant improvement in your general working environment and in the quality of leadership on the "front lines". Sometimes, not only in business, change happens slowly; but it IS happening, even as I write this, and the trickle-down will have a very positive and welcome effect on every single person who works at FFG.  Your families will notice and appreciate the difference, too.  I am fully confident that in the next few months, I'll be able to return to this site and change those 4 stars to 5!

I'm working for more than a year now, the benefits are good, nice environment,  no complaint.  Except for unfair treatment, my hourly wage and promise.   I was promised that I  will be a lead and get raise, but it didn't happened.   My hourly wage is the same as a new hire.  Boss promised, never happened at all.  Different cultures are working here, people are nice to each other. 
 But when it come to management you can feel there's a racism going on, just hiding beyond their skin.  
If they ike you no matter how many write up you get or you get fired,  they will hire you again because of the boss decision for one person.  The truth is... he risking the reputation of the company, and might get a delayed. The only reason why never happened is because we watch our back to avoid any delay of the flight.  Everytime she works,  our hearts is raising because we afraid she give us a  wrong information again and again.  I am tired of hearing of my co-workers complain, because we know our words will never be heard. We should have a new boss, the one who make the right decision when it comes Employee.
Anyway if they don't like you no matter how hard you work, and see a little things you'll get in trouble or get fired.  Wow, what kind of management is that?
Thank goodness we have a Union now, no one gets fired.  But theirs a little problem they will give you more duties until you're the one who quit.  What a good strategy.
I won't be suprise if I'm going to start getting write up because of my review. I'm pretty sure they will look for something, even a small little thing once they read this, but you know what?  I'm not afraid,  because my concern is for the company and good employees.
These are all base of my observation and experienced.

I began with a highly motivated attitude being able to work with a variety of people on a team. But all that went out window as soon as I discovered most of the Spanish speakers could not speak English and had been there for years working without enough knowledge of English. That didn’t bother me, however, when they would get upset at my suggestions; which they couldn’t understand anyway, became a complaint every other day and I’d find myself in the office behind someone who ram off to tattle-tell. I would work my but off and while we are all supposed to rotate, the non English speakers would remain at the same post and complain in Spanish to Supervisors. It was maybe four black people, one or two white people, a plethora of Hispanics, and then small percentage of Asians. There was a lot of favoritism and I’m almost certain the lot of them were not legal. I felt unheard and targeted.  There is one perk; the food at lunchtime was freshly cooked and free. ( Yeah... go figure.) By the time I left that job, I dare not work in another plant fearing I will be over-run by non-English speakers making my job complicated when it should be easy. Too stressful for the low pay. I don’t ever recommend Flying Food Group to anyone. Well.... maybe if I run into a person really desperate for work. Oh and no I am not racist towards Hispanics at all. They were just rude and disrespectful to new employees. 

There is a half hour morning briefing everyday, I like it very much because it gets a hold on everyone, you can brings your questions, what you need from others or any information you would like to share with everyone.  I think the morning briefing is very helpful not only because it helps to catch up what happened but also get to know what is happening. 

I have been working as a intern at Fling Food Group (FFG) for one year, it is a great experience to work there, I learned how to work in a team with different departments, the culture and management in a food company.  There are five different departments in the office and people always work as a team.  We have 18 facilities in the US, there are a lot of conference calls during the day, but sometime, it is hard to get a hold on someone and the communication is a little bit difficult.  However, it is great opportunity to talk to a lot of people.  There is a kitchen at the back of the office to test the recipe, it is enjoyable to experience how to make a good recipe and taste the different products.

I dedicated a year to this company that doesn’t appreciate anything you do. The time I could’ve spent at home with my daughter I was using to try to complete orders here at work working over 12 hours daily and they will threaten you that they were going to fire you if you didn’t stay they will always give you an ultimatum and u had no choice than to stay cause you really needed the money to make ends meet at home and to support your family. I was a production line Lead I was earning the same amount as any other production worker I was not paid not even a cent more and I had to deal with a very stressful environment that not only my co workers caused but also Managers and Supervisors were always on top of me to finish up  and if something didn’t get done om time guess who got the blame... The production Line Leads and for what to loose valuable time with family and give it to a company that didn’t appreciate its workers...

Flying Food was a good place to work a little bit cold at times working in the coolers. I worked on an assembly line making parfaits and sandwitches for Starbucks. I've also worked in pack out putting Starbucks orders into totes according to they orders. Also worked as a Q.A Manager making sure products are being made according to the proper procedures and that the warehouse was cleaned properly for the Health Inspectors. Management was okay could use some improvements need to learn to communicate better with their employees. My co-workers was fun to work with got a long with everyone, the hardest part of the job was understanding my co-workers do to language barriers and the most enjoyable part of the job was working with different cultures that spoke a different language which taught me a little Chinese and Spanish. Overall I enjoyed working for Flying Food Group and would do it again.

I would go in at 5am and out a130. You learn your position pretty easily. That pay is decent roo.

My pay and benefits at Flying Food Group are fair for the job I did. Not any backbreaking work. Benefits are good.wven qith child support comin out and insurance, still take hope a decent check

Overall
My experience working at Flying Food Group was generally positive

Tons of work, a lot of overtime, but some employees are treated unfairly depending on race and position. Job itself is good, but kitchen and management needs work. Equipment is constantly broken, tools aren't provided yet you technically aren't allowed to bring your own, when you do they go missing and never turn up. Hard place to work in if you aren't from a Spanish speaking family. Besides that, the food you make is complex, menus change monthly, giving a lot of experience in different cooking techniques. Very challenging work, good for anyone who is adamant on bettering themselves. Also a lot room for growth in the company itself, regardless of this particular location.

Very toxic environment with favoritism on top level . Found many individuals running a unit without much knowledge of their own position in the company. Absurd way of running such company and no empathy towards their employees.

The whole operations. No system in place and no leadership on many levels.

Nepotism. Favoritism. Stealing . Taking advantage of a position. Too many wanna be Bosses .

Running around in a jungle full of animals .

Lots of work means lots of overtime. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is a lot of stress due to the toxic environment. Employees do not follow standard work protocols. They bully and discriminate each other, especially new hires. Management does nothing to correct issues. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fast pace but long time employees do less because they claim they have seniority, that they are entitled to relax or do less work than other. Work piles on and stress becomes increasingly difficult to manage. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When I walk in the building I am bombarded with questions before I can punch in. Work from night before is still there and now have to complete before the morning work can be started.
