As a Program Advisor at Fountain Life, I've found the role to be both challenging and rewarding. The fast-paced environment keeps things dynamic, with constant updates and evolving priorities that require strong organizational skills. Our primary responsibility involves connecting with leads via Zoom calls to explain Fountain Life’s longevity programs, understand their health goals, and find the best membership for them. The company’s mission to revolutionize healthcare is inspiring, and the CEO has meetings with our team regularly to share upcoming initiatives. The collaborative, innovative culture fosters personal and professional growth.

The team is supportive, and leadership encourages initiative without micromanaging. Management trusts us to complete our tasks, but holds us accountable if expectations aren’t met. 

The Program Advisor role hones skills in sales, communication, and client relationship-building, all while contributing to clients’ wellness journeys. I've also learned a lot about healthcare and how to optimize my health after I underwent some of the advanced diagnostics at Fountain Life!

Areas for improvement include compensation incentives and job security. While the base pay is competitive, the incentive structure could be more robust to reward top sales performers. Additionally, as a startup, Fountain Life has experienced a couple of layoffs, which can create some uncertainty around job stability. However, the company is transparent with its financial standing. The growth trajectory and commitment to innovation offer optimism for the future.

If you're considering working here, be prepared for a toxic environment where favoritism is king and professionalism is an afterthought. Management doesn’t lead—they protect their inner circle. If you’re not part of it, expect to be overlooked, blamed, and dismissed.

Sales compensation is misleading at best. Policies are kept vague and undocumented. Selling $11,000 packages earned about $15; $22,000 sales brought in around $30. Bonuses? Only if you get the "hot leads," which are reserved for management’s favorites and brand-new hires (who, by the way, aren’t even eligible for commission their first year).

Leadership issues run deep. HR’s role seems more about shielding friends than protecting employees. Serious concerns about inappropriate behavior were ignored, making it clear that raising issues would go nowhere.

Blame-shifting is standard practice. I was blamed for following correct refund procedures simply because management didn’t want to take ownership. Communication was inconsistent, creating confusion and frustration for both employees and customers.

Creative work is also at risk—employees reported their ideas being used without credit or reimbursement. Collaboration is discouraged unless it serves someone's personal gain.

Bottom line:
Unless you thrive in environments fueled by favoritism, unclear pay structures, and zero accountability, you’ll likely regret working here. Protect yourself if you do: get everything in writing, document everything, and don't expect HR to have your back.

The awkward workspace that was set up like a call center

Very “corporate “ and since the company has not been around for a long time they have a high turnover rate 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Checking emails and sending out emails , as well as answering calls and doing zoom meeting with potential clients

My typical day was very diverse and busy. I enjoyed working closely with my team members but we were in a silo. Senior management is a clique of men who aren't interested in true cross functional collaboration to improve the business. They are focused on their next gain and not on doing the hard work that is needed to correct the many operational issues at hand. 

This company is a start up and has its stressful days but also joyful ones as well! You're always learning and it's a great way to be a part of the AI revolution combined with preventative health. 

Great place to work. Great place to learn. Fantastic employees and environment friendly. Hard work and high expectations. Fantastic for learning how to manage medical paperwork 

Big company with a lot of investors and a vision but they should pay attention to the day to day operations and how staff is affected by decisions made by upper management

The work was easy, but you were expected to work well over 40 hours each week. There was also a lot of drama and high turnover among nursing staff. Pay was fine. Benefits were incredible!
