The managers and supervisors make the company out to be for their customers. In fact that's fair from the truth. There is no training, received weeks of training in a day's time. If and when I had questions I had to pretty much figure it out on my own. The office setting is more of a clique than your here to perform a job. Management or should I say the lack thereof is a joke. You have managers looking for ways to fire you. Instead of seeing the value that you bring. A lot of the top management knew nothing about claims from inception to end. You needed a hall pass to be out your seat. This company could be a good company if they had the right people in the right positions. I hope it has gotten better since I left but I seriously doubt it.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Senior Management talks to you & not at you.
I really felt like part of a team & not them vs. us. Opportunities to learn and take on more responsibility are available to those who are willing to put in the effort.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It's claims & they never stop, go away or get any easier. Once you accept that being all caught up is a figment of your mind...you can get claims done.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is professional, management is interested in helping adjusters succeed and individual attention/coaching is available and there's no feelings of fear or shame for asking a question that you should know the answer to.

4-5 meetings a week.  They expect you to be in every claim, every day.  They assign new claims at 4:50 pm and say you have to make contact before you leave.  They assign claims while you are on vacation.  They do not give you a single day to catch up once you return although your backup did absolutely nothing in your claims.   They do not give clear guidelines and are extremely wishywashy on claims handling.  They scrutinize every word you say in meetings and on Teams and hold them against you.  They take information provided out of context to hold against you when performance reviews come around.  There is no matrix for reviews so you have no clear understanding of how they review or "grade" your performance.  These reviews are the basis for the bonuses and raises.  

They gave me a job I liked and am good at ... they gave me the time to do the work correctly, they gave me all the resources to get the job done ... my boss never came by to check on me ... because I turned in a check sheet of work daily on all files ... so the work was monitored by production ... Daily standup meetings before work recognized outstanding performance and it was ALWAYS one of the 4 guys I sat with in Complex.  Including myself ... all based on calls, QA, emails etc from insureds reporting on customer service and quality of timely service.

I though I was being groomed for promotion to permanent staff but, the deployment ended before that opportunity fully developed.

A typical day was phone calls, estimating, mentoring manager, teaching other adjusters to streamline their jobs to turn claims over faster. I learned that working for a family owned company that had been demoted and wanted your project to fail subjected you to a lot of abuse. 
The hardest part of the job was getting the older adjusters to learn new ways without having them quit.

The most enjoyable part of the job was making the program work. They now have the one of the fasts field Adjuster turn around times in the business, which has made them number one in Florida's fasts growing company.

Supposed to allow WFH - if you are not active on Teams, assumption is you are not working, does not matter if you are getting the work done or not - just that you were inactive for some time period. Managers have 'do as I say not what I do' coming into4 work late, leaving for 45 minutes to go to Starbucks, taking 1.5 - 2 hours for lunch so they could go to the gym, etc.  Hardest part of the job was trying to stay positive in such a negative environment.  Management did not support staff and was not open/provide an environment for feedback.

If you dont know someone in a high position or are not in a relationship with a high position, you go nowhere. They can't keep any staff, huge turnover rate. Constantly changing their directive and motives. Executives act like they are superstars with God complex. They lie to everyone, say they are family oriented but they really mean porter family oriented. The worst insurance provider on the market. Also the worst employment I have ever experienced. 

This was an awesome place to work before the hiring of non-experienced management. They are more likely to hire a friend or relative of a board member and place that person in a position of management when they have no business or insurance background. Their motto is transparency however it's more like thick as mud. With Frontline, it's not what you know  it's WHO you know.

Don't believe the hype, you may never see a raise, no formal training and no advancement opportunity,, unless you're part of the clique or a family member.  You will be overworked,  provided with minimal guidance and required to do way more than it's worth,  your voice will not be heard. If you ask for help be prepare to be let go, overalll it's a set up.

They paid well and everyone was cordial and welcoming. A few months in it became apparent that management either a)doesn't know what they're doing or b)intentionally vague and confusing in order to create legal plausible deniability for Frontline. I feel it is a mixture of both going on.
